K, this might be an old post, but:

You can be 100% positively sure he won't come back as a backup. Not even for one season. What exactly does he need to 'experience'? He's probably the best keeper in Spain already, and by then he'll have 30+ caps plus a possible world cup tournament behind his belt for one of the top teams in Europe. It's Cech or him, you'll have to get rid of one of them.

Brilliant? He hasn't made a single save really and certainly hasn't had to do anything even remotely difficult. He's a great keeper, but Valdes has made the only great save of this game.

Cortouis has one official save and it was an easy one off a very weak Fabergas header. He hasn't saved a shot off of Messi. There was one where Messi was almost in alone but his shot was blocked by a sliding defender.
