Dream scenario and master set, to let Thibo sign a new contract (5years) and Petr stays. After that, he can compete for the spot with Petr without the club need to worry that Thibo will leave when he's not playing.

Dont think anyone can be loyal even before playing for the club. He was being real, and that is perfectly fine.

Just because we signed him from genk and sent him out on loan doesnt mean he is suddenly loyal to us, he is contractually tied to us, that is all.

Anyways, he became probably the best or 2nd best goalkeeper in the world in those 2 years. It would have been a total joke if we made the 2nd best keeper in the world warm the bench.

Sometimes, decisions have to be made which are rational rather than emotional and im glad mourinho made the decision to start with him.

Why would you expect loyalty from someone

a) who up until now never played for us,

b whom we've told for the past three years "We don't really need you right now"

c) continued to forge a reputation for himself as a world class keeper

d) probably hasn't cost us anything

Sorry but when I tried to directly quote your post I couldn't separate your two quotes. After some fooling around I ended up with this. Still, the fact that you quoted these two posts without any further explanation gives the impression that you agree with them, so they might as well be yours, or am I wrong?

I couldn't believe the size of him on Monday when I saw him.

There was a Burnley fan who called up 5 Live on Monday night when I was on the way back and he commented on how he couldn't believe how big our players were. Tibo is a specimen, he is fucking huge.

In corners you just feel so confident with him in goal, Neuer is probably the best at coming out and collecting the ball but Courtois isn't far behind in that aspect.

It's funny though in a t shirt he looks fairly slim and lanky, but in our kit he looks filled out and bulky.
