Quickly it took off and resulted in tweets from Debruyne and Wilmots having to 'mediate'. Apparently KDB's EX went to Madrid with a bunch of friends. Courtois' dad said the family was with Courtois all this time and contact was even made. Kdb just heared rumours so got upset. Enter wilmots to fix it. Also, Story Magazine has pretty much the same reputation here in Belgium as The Onion. Go figure. Alomst every celebrity even refuses to talk to that magazine again - there have numerous legal cases against them for making up shit. Ow - the other headlines is that our prince has been involved in sex scandals for more then 10 years, Justin Bieber is going to make a Belgian dance show and a famous comedian here likes to hit his wife. So .... Safe to say it is bollocks . All for sales, all for sales because juicy celebrity gossip is like Belgian chocolate for the mind. You just cannot resist. It's gossip blown out of proportions - even Wilmots had to sort that shit out (even came to Chelsea) - which I can understand just before the NT game against Macedonia. . He won't just walse in and take Cech's place, the reason Petr himself did that to Cudicini is because even then he was on another level to the Italian. Would definitely be the ideal scenario here, would allow him to stay there and play in the Champions League but would also be good for us if we got him tied up until 2018. Him staying at Atletico without signing a new contract would be bad because after next season he'd only have two years left in his Chelsea contract and he could easily start making noises about moving elsewhere and there wouldn't be much we could do but an extension would be a sign that both parties are still very much on board with the plan. Another year in Madrid to gain vital CL experience and then the 14/15 season on loan at a Premier League club to get used to the PL as well as living in England. After that either an extension to the previous loan or a return to Chelsea with him and Cech both playing their fair shares of games and then in 2016 Courtois should finally take over as the number one keeper. If Thibaut signs the new contract at Chelsea, he pretty much accepts a career plan like this so there shouldn't be a need to rush things unless Cech suffers serious injuries or his form takes a massive dip.
