Chelsea? 892
really hope this means 4231: "On the other hand, we still haven't find a player to replace Mata properly at the left wing." #Chelsea #CFC#AVB: "As an explosive winger, Hulk would fit well in our team. Hulk and other players we've been looking at." #CFC #Chelsea There's an exact formula to be successful in PL.And that's what City is doing right now: attacking efficiency above all
Trueblue1982 48
All this hate on AVB is downright ridiculous. Chelsea fans and the media are complete joke; oh my god we haven't been playing as well as we have done in the past! Big fucking deal. This Chelsea team need to buck-the-fuck-up; stop moaning and start playing. If we fire AVB and hire Pep or whatever, as soon as they start dropping players and chaning the tactics the players will start moaning and the whole thing will start over again.Sorry but the "untouchables" need to be let go. We need to start over.Hit the nail on the head AVB has come out (ok some things he has handled wrong) and done what none of our managers since Jose has done, we all know we need to freshen the squad in all areas, but also need to keep experiance around for the dug out scrappy away 1-0 win that will win us a title at the end of the year, ive posted this comment before, given time i think AVB will be as loved if not more than AVB, i wasnt too sure in the summer if he was the right man for the job, and i think he has handled some things wrong but he seems like the type of guy that actually learns from nis mistakes, top 4 is a must and we will see in the summer with who goes and who comes what kind of season we have, d like to see some of our youth, josh, ryan in the mix and with the right people around they will do a job, i also think Luiz will be our next captain, he is one of the very few this season that shows heart and plays for the badge.. diskoviolente 425
on that article on the guardian today:lazy journos at work. they really need an "AVB blog a day", otherwise they go on cold turkey. the problem with 24/7 news about football is that actually not that much happens. AVB stating the obvious without any hint to some news somewhere, boombast into a "AVB on the brinks" story and almost in talks with other clubs.i should stop reading the papers, it is just depressing. Kezza 1,965
I dont think Lampard's ego will let him turn into a giggs or scholes.......especially not yet.God I hope Giggs 900th appearance doesn't put ideas in Lampards head!

That means AVB wants two wingers: he admits we are looking to get Hulk, and he says we wanta LW to replace Mata. And Hulk he's an right winger, not left winger...so it means 2 new starting wingers and Mata in the middle.
manpe 10,861
I wonder how those quotes will affect performances of current players who know they have no future.
Chelsea? 892
God I hope Giggs 900th appearance doesn't put ideas in Lampards head!I hope he didn't think most fans think Lampard > AVB, because they were screaming his name Saturday. Regardless of his talent/status, a player should never feel they can say they have a problem with the coach whenever they score a goal. Also, his celibrations would be offensive to me if I were a chelsea youngster.saying all this, i really can't imagine what Lampard feels, idk if he's mad or whatever. I've been very critical of him this year and its almost/is disrespectful to a person, let-alone a chelsea legend. I just would like him to support the young manager a little more. communicate 2,703
#AVB: "We conceded a lot of goals from the left. That's one of the reasons why we brought Mata to the middle." #Chelsea #CFC - It shows that mata does not offer much defensively and cole is not 25 anymore, we need a new left back #AVB: "On the other hand, we still haven't find a player to replace Mata properly at the left wing." #Chelsea #CFC #AVB: "As an explosive winger, Hulk would fit well in our team. Hulk and other players we've been looking at." #CFC #Chelse -- - Explosive one on one winger is definitely one of our biggest need #AVB: "There's an exact formula to be successful in PL.And that's what City is doing right now: attacking efficiency above all" #Chelsea CFC #AVB "City is a very organised, efficient, well-balanced team. All they want right now is to be champions" #Chelsea #CFC #AVB: "If I saw City playing in Italy, I would say that's where they actually belong." #Chelsea #CFC - It remind me of a certain team that was coached by another italian for 2 years, We did not really play pretty football but we played an efficient football with athletic player =))

Blue Armour 4,439
Obviously the media is making a meal of his words, but I just wish he would keep his doubts to himself. Carlo started talking like this towards the end of last season, and we all know how that ended...
