Because AVB said they were useless. We should get AVB gone, too.

And have yet another manager ??? players come and go, both Alex and anelka did not put a good enough shift in from the start, no player is bigger than the club, we have had too much player power for way too long, and hats of to AVB for standing up for this, given time i think AVB will be as loved if not more the the special one.... Jose didnt have a problem standing up to players evryone seems to be jumping on the band wagon and wanting AVB gone and its the same people that say they want stability.....make ya mind up, lets see who goes and who comes in in the summer and everyone who wanted AVB out this season when we are lifting silver will be so far stuck up AVB arse will be unreal.............

That's the fan of talkchelsea.net for you.

They wanted Torres cause he was a god for them and now they don't stand him.

They wanted AVB as he was going to be their savior now they don't want him.

Majority of them are little kids, and therefore don't hold no true allegiance.

As soon as the team wins, they love the team. As soon as they loose they hate and curse at the players.

I found out that the best assessment of a team is done when you look at a loosing team. You can tell their real characters, their mentality and such. Likewise fans from this place!

Win's don't tell that much unless you are in fire, which is not the case here.

I do have to say something that I find funny.

AVB was at the beginning like, yay we got an awesome squad and can challenge for 4 trophies!

Now, I am excited about next year project.

That is the best way to say I fucked up, now let me get another year to do it right!

I agree with you, he made a mistake there. But you can't ignore how hard is job is being, im pretty sure something is really messed up with this squad, with their will. AVB is a young trainer and he did an amazing job at porto (i support Sporting and i admit that), the new porto coach sucks compared to him, pretty much the same team and they cant play decent football like before.

This is why i think AVB needs more time and a 'new' squad, Chelsea needs to kick the players that are destroying the team will of winning, after that and with some new promising players, i can see Chelsea back, our old Chelsea.

(i hope...)

Exactly he needs time.Summer will give the chance for him to show what he's really about. He needs to be able to choose who goes and who comes in without interferance from anyone else espically them buying over priced players for him which he's then gotta play really regardless if likes it or not.

Then show what he can do.Team be his own more then Carlo's etc and all down to him and all...

Lampard admits having problems with AVB

Frank Lampard today admitted for the first time his relationship with Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas had "not been ideal".

Speculation has been rife of a conflict between midfield star Lampard and Villas-Boas virtually all season, with the former unhappy about the number of games he has sat out.

Today was the first time either had openly admitted their relationship had become strained, although Lampard did not want to dwell on any problems the pair might have had.

He said of their relationship: "I think, from the outside, you can probably see that it's not been ideal but the important thing is not to focus on individual relationships too much.

Nothing surprising, which is why it baffles me that some people here continue to blame the manager when it's the players!

They want all the power, and play good when ever they feel like it.

To me it does not matter if you are a legend or not!

The club is more important then one person. Tomorrow you will be gone, but the club will live forever.

It is why I don't get excited by these bunch of prima donas when they pull one easy victory.

They have a lot more to prove to me, that they want to respect the club and give everything in the field.

Abramovich Strikes Back! What AVB Would Have Faced Had He Lost To Bolton

GYI0062677627.jpg

Chelsea might have won against Bolton on Saturday, but what would have happened if they didn't. We use the magical powers of our imagination to work out Andre Villas-Boas's fate, casting our eye towards the very bowels of Stamford Bridge, where Frank Lampard and Roman Abramovich are cooking up a surprise...

There is a great activity on the platform. Six stewards frantically prepare the chamber for use. A special coffinlike container is put into place. Frank LAMPARDstands to the side, looking sinister. Andre VILLAS-BOAS is muscled towards the contraption, accompanied by defenders Ashley COLE, Branislav IVANOVIC and Jose BOSINGWA. Ersatz midfielder Raul MEIRELES is also with them, as is owner Roman ABRAMOVICH.

Andre VILLAS-BOAS: (to Ashley COLE) What's going on...buddy?

COLE: You're having your contract... frozen.

Roman ABRAMOVICH moves away from the group to Frank LAMPARD.

ABRAMOVICH: What if he doesn't survive? He's worth a lot to me.

LAMPARD: The fans will compensate you if he dies. Put him in!

Realizing what is about to happen, Branislav IVANOVIC lets out a wild howl and attacks the stewards surrounding Andre.

IVANOVIC: > :(. Rwwwwarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!

Within seconds, other reinforcements join the scuffle, befuddling the giant Serbian bear-man with their complicated words and such. From the instant of IVANOVIC's first move, Jose BOSINGWA begins to scream in panic while he tries to protect himself with his enormous eyebrow.

BOSINGWA: Oh, no! No, no, no! Stop, Branko, stop...!

The stewards are about to confuse IVANOVIC even further with their words and instructions.

VILLAS-BOAS: Stop, Branislav, stop! Do you hear me? Stop!

BOSINGWA: Yes, stop, please! I'm not ready to start at right back again. I may never be!

VILLAS-BOAS breaks away from his captors. LAMPARD nods to the stewards to let him go and the manager breaks up the fight.

VILLAS BOAS: Bran! Bran, this won't help me. Hey!

VILLAS-BOAS gives the Serbian bear-man a stern look.

VILLAS-BOAS: Save your strength. There'll be another time. The princess - you have to take care of him. You hear me? Fernando needs your help.

Andre winks at the Serbian bear-man, who wails a doleful farewell.

IVANOVIC: Mwaaaaaarrrrr! :-(

In a flash the guards have slipped binders on IVANOVIC, who is too distraught to protest. Andre turns to Raul MEIRELES. They look sorrowfully at one another, then Andre moves toward him and gives him a final, passionate kiss.

MERIELES: I love you!

VILLAS-BOAS: I know.

its normal and its good... if lamps can't live with it... as hard as it is he has to go... thats it... terry came out and backed boas to do well what ever he does... but fair play terry plays the majority of the time...

lamps is a legend... and will alwys be... but he cant say... "if you sit at the bench you want chelsea to win"... yeah nice... but whos fault is that chelsea isnt winning anymore for 4 seasons now?... ask you're self and don't blame the manager
