  1. I'm missing something here - what are Simeone's plans for Lukaku? To lead the line? or to be a back-up centre forward? If he wants Lukaku to be the 1st choice, then this is a no-brainer. But if he wants him to act as a back-up center forward, then I don't know. Maybe another loan to a PL side would be a better thing to do. Hopefully, Cholo wants him to lead the line. In this case, this would be some deal. You get Diego Costa and you also get to send one of your top prospects to a team that turns centre forwards into monsters.
  2. He is now a free agent, his contract with QPR has ran out.
  3. Gomis close to joining Swansea on a free transfer.
  4. Dude let me remind you this is the Lavezzi topic. The player you are talking about must be Suarez or Cavani or someone else. Lavezzi has 71 goals in almost 300 games since his arrival in Europe. That was in 2007. The guy is overrated as fuck. Even the Paris fans admited that he and van der Wiel are the worst players in that team. Why would Chelsea pay £18m for that mug? You want a back-up player that is very fast, direct, good at carrying the ball, works very hard and can score some goals? I give you Schurrle. And you don't have to pay a penny for him. The guy has scored 9 goals in his first EPL season - Lavezzi had 12 last season while playing in a Mickey Mouse league. This rumour has bullshit written all over it. Lavezzi isn't Chelsea material. Teams like Schalke, Leverkusen, Milan, Napoli, Valencia would suit him better.
  5. No. He partnered Yobo at centre back. I think Oshaniwa was the left back.
  6. That explains why you haven't seen Kroos playing under Jupp. At least you are sincere.
  7. When did you start watching football mate? A year ago?!
  8. It looks like the Chelsea fans and Pogba share the same view on this team - a centre forward, central midfielder and a left back is needed, while Ramires is dog shite. Well done son.
  9. I see. I must agree I do not read Kicker that much and I haven't seen that tweet. I read the news in Die Welt, who is one of Germany's most reputable newspaper along with Die Zeit and Suddeutsche. Still, if the rumour about that €8m per annum salary is true, I can't see him refusing such offer. One thing I know for sure - Jose won't go nowhere near that mark for a back-up striker.
  10. He has chosen to stay in Germany and he will rejoin Wolfsburg after the World Cup. Small details to be settled, but the deal is as good as done. He has snubbed offers from Chelsea, Arsenal and Juventus because of the wages. Wolfsburg have offered him a five-year deal worth €8m per annum.
  11. Diego Costa topic MUST be locked!!!!
  12. Netherlands???!! Chile!!?! Remember those games? Why would Chelsea fans be so excited about him coming at the Bridge?!!?
  13. Can't wait for those Jedi, chainsaw and Mortal Kombat gifs hahah
  14. Hopefully Chelsea will get a decent draw in the Champions League then. Chelsea Schalke/Shakhtar/Zenit/Basel Olympiakos/Sporting/CSKA/Galatasaray Steaua/APOEL/Salzburg/BATE Borisov/Anderlecht
  15. Spot on. Mourinho should do with him what Simeone did with Koke.
  16. Great choice. I do own a pair of Sennheiser too. The HD 25 model.
  17. Xavi has signed a pre-contract agreement with Al Arabi in Qatar. Dan Petrescu, ex Chelsea and now the coach of Al Arabi, confirmed it at a Romanian TV station today. He said the deal is 99% done. Not 100% because there are also other Qatari clubs interested in him such as Al Sadd who offers him €10m per annum. But he is confident Xavi will join Al Arabi and said he even talked to Xavi on the phone before he left for Brazil. €6m will pay the Qatari side for him.
  18. It looked like AVB was in charge in those 55-60 minutes he was on the pitch. Belgium had an awful game - no movement, long shots, slow possesion game, a striker that never touched the ball, no ideas. Horror. Just like Tottenham and Soldado. I won't join the bandwagoon and slate him after a poor game. He is a good chap and I'm expecting him to deliver in the next matches. Still, he has to work on that fucking first touch. It's like that ball is hitting a wall everytime.
  19. Yes, they are. Sorry then. Didn't read the article in Express. Still, they all seem to follow El Confidencial's story, where those are Madrid's targets.
  20. It's Carlo they are talking about, not Mou.
  21. It's not about Kroos and his agent anymore. He told the club he'll sign a new contract only if his wages are doubled. In response, Bayern have made it clear that the maximum he will get is €5m per annum. That's €2m less than what Kroos is expecting. And you have El Confidencial as the one who broke this story. They are no mugs, you don't get to call such a reputable outlet and ask if they can come up with a story like this. You do this with Mirror and Daily Mail, not with Telegraph, Guardian, El Confidencial or Cadena SER.
  22. Interesting story in El Confidencial. http://www.elconfidencial.com/deportes/futbol/2014-06-16/mou-ofrece-8-5-millones-a-kroos-y-complica-el-fichaje-del-aleman-por-el-real-madrid_146986/ Jose wants Toni Kroos and he will offer him a five-year deal worth €8.5m per annum. Another team interested in him is Real Madrid - they've already talked to Kroos' agents and they have made it clear that they won't offer him more than €6m per annum. Jose sees Kroos as the new Xabi Alonso and even asked Florentino Perez to sign him at the beginning of his last season in Madrid. Now he thinks this is the perfect opportunity to sign him as Guardiola is "forced" to sell Kroos.
  23. That's the last thing I would do mate. I respect your opinion because you should know him better, being Dutch and all this stuff, but I was only sharing my point of view regarding this player. Still, he isnt' Chelsea material in my eyes and nowhere near as good as Filipe Luis, Ricardo Rodriguez, Shaw, Alberto Moreno, Alaba, Alex Sandro etc. That was my point - there's no reason why Chelsea fans should look into him when there are better players out there. He's just an updated version of PvA IMO. I can't see him leave Ajax for more than €7-8m.
