Alvaro Morata to Juventus is a done deal and Di Marzio says that Lukaku was the back-up plan in case the deal was off because he has two years left in his contract and he won't renew. If this is true, then I think Jose should ship him out while his market value is still high - He'll be worthless in a year from now. I'm one of his biggest fans, followed him since his early days, I also have a Anderlecht shirt with him, but if he is too stubborn and he can't accept the squad role at 21, what should Chelsea expect from him at 25-26? To ask for the captaincy? To ask the club to rename the stadium to "Lukaku stadium"? He used to be such a humble kid before signing for that bastard Mino Raiola.

Monday, in Austria.
-
It is true. He has signed a four-year contract yesterday. Now Jesus Olmo and Franciso Morate are in charge at Madrid, both coming from RM Castilla.
-
According to the latest rumours the deal is not done yet. City and Porto have agreed terms, but Mangala has asked for another "period of reflection" because he is still waiting for a sign from Mourinho. That's so funny haha. He really does not want to go there. But he should also know that Mourinho won't go near that amount Porto is asking for (€38-40m).

Spanish is a beautiful language and a bit dramatic at times. It allows you to "play" with the words. They used "enemigo" because of the relation between Jose and Atleti - the rojiblancos (the fans) despise him

Look at this L'Equipe, not the most reputable source out there, I know, says that Mourinho indeed called Khedira and told him that he is willing to pay those big wages that he demands (~€9m per annum), but only after he ends his contract with Madrid, in 2015, when he would come as a free agent at Chelsea. Now El Confidencial is saying that Khedira has decided to stay in Madrid. Did Jose convince him to do this? There are two ways to prevent Arsenal from buying Khedira - Jose either buys him, or he convinces him to stay for another year in Madrid/sign for another team, outside EPL.

From hero to zero. From "future Chelsea legend" to playing for mugs in Segunda. I feel sorry for him. Too bad it didn't work out. But one man's failure is another man's success - hopefully Nate, Baker, Loftus-Cheek, Swift, Boga will have a different path than Josh in their careers

RTVE, another reputable outlet in Spain, confirms that he will join Chelsea on a two-year contract. http://www.rtve.es/deportes/20140716/atletico-reestructuracion-campeon-futuro-incierto/974981.shtml Otro viejo conocido de la Premier acabará su carrera vistiendo la camiseta del Chelsea. Tiago decidió regresar al club de Roman Abramóvich tras conquistar la Liga con el Atlético, por lo que cuatro jugadores titulares del once del 'Cholo' se pasan al 'enemigo'.

Cadena Ser reporting that Khedira to Arsenal is OFF for now because he is demanding huge wages - €9.5m per annum. Wenger will not go nowhere near this amount. Madrid and Arsenal will only start the negociations when Khedira will "come down from his clowd" and accept reduced wages. Nothing mentioned about Chelsea.

Also Matic looked sharp. I can see it - Filipe overlapping, Matic through ball/long pass to him, Filipe to Diego, bang.

:blue scalf: Jeremie Boga

I was praying they won't quote the likes of Sun, Daily Mail, Mirror etc. They did. Case closed.
-
Oh God, even worse than the Daily Mail I'd say.
-
I think there is a pretty good video from Scout Nation. It's here somewhere, just go back some pages.
-
He'll announce his departure from Madrid in a press conference at 15:30 UK time.
-
Thank you for the Anfield goal! You saved football that time. Best of luck Demba! Demba şampiyon!
-
Bienvenido Filipe! :blue scalf: El Confidencial reporting the transfer fee was nowhere near the release clause.

Marca = the Express, Mirror of Spain, while ABC.es = the BBC of Spain. But hopefully, the always unreliable Marca is spot on with this one. Chelsea need an enforcer next to Matic, not a small upgrade to Ramires. I'd rather have Oscar play as a central midfielder, than paying such a ridiculous amount on Khedira.

http://www.abc.es/realmadrid/noticias/20140716/abci-realmadrid-khedira-arsenal-chelsea-201407152004.html Always reliable ABC.es - Mourinho has called Sami Khedira and told him to snub Arsenal and sign for Chelsea. The only problem is that Arsenal are the highest bidder right now - they have made an offer of €29m yesterday. Mourinho has asked Roman to make an effort and pay that money.

The situation is not in Juventus' favour anymore. Things have changed dramatically in the last hours. Conte was the soul of that team and players like Vidal and Pogba are attached to him. I dont know what they think about Conte's resignation, but I'm pretty sure they are not so excited at the prospect of starting a new era with Max Allegri and Mancini. Things won't be the same - new coach, new tactics, new training methods, new atmosphere at the team etc. Heard something last days about Juve offering Pogba a new deal - now I'm not so sure Pogba will accept it. He is in his last two years of contract and Juve should be careful now - if Pogba will reject their contract offer, then they should make a decision this summer because in a year from now he'll be in his last year of contract and Juventus will end up like Bayern - losing a ~€50m worth player for peanuts. Mourinho should work his magic here and convince Pogba to reject that new deal, then pressure Juventus on selling him. As I said, Juventus should be very careful here - in case Pogba will reject the new deal, then they should listen to any offer bigger than €50-55m.
-
haha, he wants a €9m per annum salary BEFORE bonuses Good luck with that Sami

Congrats Andre!!

Corriere della Sera, La Repubblica, La Gazzetta dello Sport. That would be the order. I can't think of a better replacement for Terry. Benatia is a beast.
