Read something similar earlier today, but I was in a hurry and skipped past that story. Now I went back to that article. It comes from La Repubblica (Rome based newspaper), one of the most reputable media outlets in Italy, along with Corriere della Sera and it says that AS Roma will sell Benatia (probably to City) and is already negociating with Mangala to replace him. After preliminary talks, they were sure Mangala accepted their offer, but things have changed in the last minute because Mourinho submitted a €26m offer to Porto. The offer is better than Roma's who will not pay more than €20m. Jose is a big admirer and the player would fancy a move to Chelsea as well. Now Chelsea is in pole position to sign the CB and now Benatia might stay in Rome for another season as all the Roma targets seem to be out of reach (Garay is going to Bayern de Munich, Marquinhos to Barcelona and Mangala to Chelsea)

Barcelona wants €36m for Fabregas. They only want to recoup the money they spent on him. Chelsea and Fabregas have already reached an agreement. Darren Dein (Fabregas' agent) proposed his player to all the big clubs in England, but Chelsea was the team most interested in signing him. Arsene Wenger has no plans to sign Fabregas. Cesc only wants to sign for a London based team. He told Barcelona he will not leave the club if he won't find a team in London to sign for. He was expecting Arsenal to be interested in him. He was surprised and at the same time disappointed that Wenger did not want him, so he chose Chelsea instead.

Fabregas for the "10" role should not be ruled out yet. Remember last summer when the media said Mata and Luiz are not in Mourinho's plans? We thought they are talking bollocks. Then the media said Mourinho offered one of Mata and Luiz to United, when Chelsea was trying to sign Rooney. We thought the same, bollocks. Therefore they were right. Now some journous say the same thing about Oscar and I'm afraid they know something, that's why I won't rule Fabregas coming here to take the "10" spot. Let's just pray Jose isn't thinking about a three man midfield with Matic, Fabregas and Ramires. Or worse..................................... Paulinho

ABC.es and Cadena SER are the BBC and Sky Sports of Spain. Also reliable are Cadena Cope, laSexta, El Confidencial, RTVE, As, Onda Cero. And Sport, Punto Pelota, Marca, Mundo Deportivo are the equivalent of Metro, Daily Mail, The Sun, Daily Express etc.
-
Cadena SER is the most reputable media outlet in Spain, the equivalent of Sky Sports in England. That's a radio show and they are saying (14:05 - 15:20) Fabregas was in London this week-end, where he met Mourinho and agreed terms with Chelsea. Now Chelsea has to talk to Barcelona and pay an amount between €30-40m. By contract, Arsenal has the 1st option on him, but they are not interested in signing him back.
-
Ok, here we go. Cadena SER reporting something about Fabregas. Cadena SER is the equivalent of Sky Sports. Them and ABC.es are the most reputable media outlets in Spain when it comes to transfer rumours. Cesc quiere irse pero el Barça dice que no tiene ninguna oferta formal So, they are saying Fabregas wants to live the club because of various reasons (one being that he wants to be with his girl in London), Barcelona have put him on the transfer list, but they have not received a transfer offer yet. Also Barcelona's officials have admited he will sign for an English club and informed Fabregas' agents that they are waiting for the right offer. No Chelsea or Mourinho mentioned in that article so everything that has been written so far is BS. I don't know, but I have a feeling there's someone else interested in him, not Chelsea.
-
El Mundo Deportivo isn't really the most reliable source out there. Wait untill one of Cadena SER, El Confidencial, Cadena Cope, laSexta, Onda Cero follows the story, although there are signs Chelsea might just be in for him.
-
It's probably €90m, but you know how journalism works, €100m sounds better, although they say Chelsea will pay almost €50m for Diego Costa. So it's €50m + €24m + €26m. But ignore the title, it's Godin's release clause we're talking about. Good money for a great center-back.

The old topic is archived. I don't know, maybe someone can reopen it and merge it with this one? El Chelsea ofrece 100 'kilos' por Godín, Filipe Luis y Diego Costa He has a similar release clause to Filipe Luis, €24-25m. To me is a no-brainer, what a good piece of business this is would be. One of the best center-backs in Europe, 28, in his prime. Reliable source also.

Hazard - De Bruyne - Hazard - Bingo!

Yeah, it's gone It was https://twitter.com/Toure_yaya42

Who else then? Is Mourinho really interested in Shaw, Rodriguez, Moreno? Or is it just us here on this forum wanting them? I've seen no rumour saying Jose is willing to match United's offer and pay €33m to Southampton and €6m per annum to the player. And nothing about Rodriguez since December. Or anything reliable about Moreno. Filipe Luis is the "strongest" rumour about a left-back out there. Every Spanish source was quoted by saying "Mourinho rates him highly, he wants him at Chelsea, he wants to double his wages, he wants to trigger his release clause just to have him at Chelsea, the player is interested, the player is delighted with the offer, the agent confirmed" and so on. I think we've all went through plenty of transfer windows since we follow this club and we can now make the difference between utter shite rumours and close to happening ones. To me, Courtois, Filipe Luis, Tiago and Diego Costa coming to Chelsea looks like a very strong and trustable rumour. And it won't be a bad deal either you know - Chelsea will have four regulars from the La Liga champion and the finalist of Champions League for only €63m.
-
Actually they are. Cadena SER, El Confidencial, RTVE, Onda Cero, laSexta, Cadena Cope. They won't be right 10/10, but they are pretty much reliable sources.
-
Cadena Cope (Spanish radio) Diego Costa has rejected a new contract from Atletico that would have seen his salary doubled and his release clause increased. He will go to Chelsea. Diego Costa rechaza la oferta de renovación del Atlético y se irá al Chelsea And Courtois will be at Chelsea next season. Courtois jugará la próxima temporada en el Chelsea, según adelantó Manolo Lama

Knowing City is limited by UEFA to only €60m in spending, this may be Mourinho trying to force City's hand and see if they are going to do everything to sign Benatia, even some €30m offer. Like this, they will be limited to only one or two players in this transfer window. Not the best theory you know, but I gave it a shot. We all know Mourinho is a transfer market shark.
-
Agree with the offer and fuck Citeh, but it's so hard for me to type € or £, everytime I have to paste it, every fucking keyboard here in Romania has the mighty $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ on it. Well, can't blame them, we're still using the old currency here, the Romanian Leu (RON). In three or four years we will switch to EURO £1 = 5.4 Lei. So it is Hazard plus RON 162m.
-
Apparently Il Messaggero was the first to report it in Italy this morning. It's Chelsea €20m + Lukaku vs City €20m + Kolarov. Benatia's wages would only be €4m per annum.
-
Real Madrid are going all in for Aguero. €60m+ offer submitted in the last hours apparently. So, those Aguero to Real, Falcao to City and Di Maria to leave Madrid rumours from months ago are starting to come alive http://www.cuatro.com/deportes/futbol/real_madrid/Florentino_Perez-Falcao-Real_Madrid_2_1774005138.html
-
The United drama and all that Moyes scouting should have gotten him a new contract. Kroos is on a €3.5 per annum contract. He wants it dubbled. Apparently Bayern have made it clear that €5m per annum will be that last offer he will get. In response, Chelsea said "wages not a problem" should he decide to leave. I'm also a journalist here in Romania (I know, Romania, but at least we have the best Journalism and Mass Comunication College in Eastern Europe) and rumours don't come out of nothing. Now, if Mourinho will bid for him or not, that's another topic. The beauty of silly season!
-
But who said something about the pivot?! Every rumour out there goes by saying that Mourinho is interested in him for the "10" role, to replace Oscar, not for playing him in the pivot. He has other targets there.
