Good to hear from you and that things are going well! Take care and good luck!

I don't think people in colder climates understand that when you live in the tropics that you get cold when the weather gets to 20C! They think that is a heat wave! I remember when I moved from the northern US the temperature was a shock but not as bad as the first time I went home in the middle of the winter! My sister was laughing at me because I was constantly cold. I told her that it just doesn't get that cold at home! It is worse now that I live in Shanghai, because it is even warmer here! I hate wearing shirts that hang straight from my chest to my hips! It makes me look like I am wearing a maternity top! I am not a small and haven't been in many years but if I get a shirt to fit my bust that isn't tapered to the waist then I look like I am pregnant or obese and that is not fun!

Thanks for the nomination I have busy with my family and not on much in the last week or so. My daughter has been training for her tournament and it has taken my time. Plus I have been asked to work a bit which has been a nice change of pace! However, that meant I missed the nominations and the voting! LOL Congratulations Peace!

I go through the chelseamegastoreusa.com and it usually runs around $90 US if you don't get a players name on it the best time to get it is in the fall (of course or right after a major win when they offer sales) http://www.chelseamegastoreusa.com/departments-away-kit-chelsea-12-13-women-s-away-soccer-jersey.html They are expensive but the cut is so much better than feeling like you're wearing a muumuu! It's nice to have our curves accented

@Skipper, I won't. I will give her time to cool off but I never give up. Having lost two sisters to a car accident 11 years ago, I know all to well how precious the 3 I have left are! On to happier news, if I am not around for the next week or so it is because my daughter is headed to Brunei for her FOBISSEA U-13 tournament. The team will compete in athletics, football, basketball, and swimming. MacKenzie is competing in all but swimming. She is the number 1 goalkeeper for her team!! But also plays left mid! She plays a point guard in basketball and in athletics is scheduled to do the triple jump and will run the 800 and 1600m!! I am a wee bit nervous for her! I will be posting updates on Facebook I am sure and if I can I will post here too. If not I will fill you in when we get back next Wednesday! Go BISS Lions!! :blue scalf:

DJames I have been around a long time so most of the guys don't really treat me like a girl most of the time LOL plus I am a lot older than most of them any way. LOL I buy most of my ladies shirts in the US or the UK because that is the only place I can find them but they usually get released weeks after the men's. btw welcome to the boards Kerry

It does go much deeper and I have tried many times to talk to her. I did the right thing I apologized to her, I erased the post she was embarrassed by, I made a cake of myself and apologized to her on Facebook (still told her I thought her taste in English clubs was appalling) and I repeatedly told her that she needed to remember that I love her. She never said she accepted my apology but did send me a note that said she loved me too. For her that is a big step and as good as I am probably going to get. She will not ever admit she is in the wrong or that she has treated me poorly. I have known for years that there is more going on with her than she is willing to admit but since she will not share with the family there is not a lot we can do to help her. Thanks for all the support it helped

I hope we win I really don't think a loss will affect Rafa, I am not sure why but I just don't see them giving him the boot.
-
sure, what are you cooking for me?
-
Thanks I have apologized but knowing her it will be years for her to get over it, last time she got mad at me it took 2 years and the loss of two of ours sisters for her to speak to me again. So I really don't hold out hope that this will get better soon.

Ugh!! Crappy morning! I have managed to make my sister angry at me for picking on her (she is a pseudoManU fan) and she she took it all too seriously and to much to heart. Ah well she'll probably stop talking to me, but that will not really change anything other than the random post on Facebook (one ever three months) because she does not email or call me at all and hasn't since I moved to China almost two years ago! Of course, not that I have ever said anything to her about that or how it made me feel! Ok vent over

a romper would be the full bodysuit a baby wears LOL On a woman it is called a body suit or a catsuit… I have no idea why!! just a note about ties…. spend a little bit more and get a nice one… cheap ones can ruin your look and knit ones are tacky… I really don't care what any fashionista of the month is trying to sell, ties should be never ever be made out of the same material as your jumper (sweater)

Glad to hear you are doing so well! Take care!!

@rmpr Cake and The Flaming Lips are 90's alternative bands a little more hardcore than Pearl Jam. Neither had mainstream hits that I remember. Tickets to see Train when I go back to the US in July

My deepest sympathies for you and your friends family. You are absolutely right, knowing even if it is an ugly truth is better than not knowing why. It helps the grieving process. I won't say the healing process, because I am not sure that is what we do when we grieve. There is healing but I don't think the pain of losing someone close to you ever completely goes away.

@Toronto… no the shoot first attitude is not an American one and in most states will end land you in jail just as fast if not faster than the guy breaking into your house... @rmpr… I understand your frustration about people making assumptions about where you are from and where you live. I get both sides of that coin. I love watching peoples expression in the states when I say I live in China and even better when I tell them I like living here! Tourist are awful. I think American tourists (especially the ones traveling with a cruise line or tour group) are the worst next to Chinese… (if you haven't run into a Chinese tour group my only advice if you see one is run the other way!) We've traveled to some remote places in Asia and I do my best not to stare and am very careful not be too showy with my camera, my cash, or belongings. I never ever use my iPad for pictures. The last thing I want is a target on my back! I also do my research to learn about the traditions and culture, so that I don't offend anyone. I wouldn't want to offend someone by the way I dress or by inadvertently using a hand gesture that means something else. RE Oscar: Last article I read said he shot through the bathroom door 4 times and then carried her downstairs before starting CPR. why would a burglar be in your bathroom? didn't he know she was home? if he did, wouldn't knocking come before shooting? why did he move her?

Glad to be home! Vacation was great but the 18 hours of travel to get home is not! now to conquer the jet lag and I'll be all set!
