Ever since I left the US pretty much! But I h have done the Chinese New Year thing and won't do it again! It was like being in a war zone noise wise!!! I have never been so thankful to live in a brick building with a terra cotta roof!!! Yes, you read correctly, did you not realize I live in Shanghai? So for me that is not an odd statement (Last year was the year of the Dragon!!) Thanks we are looking forward to it especially since it snowed today!! It is highly unusual!

The waiting is part of your psyche exam! Glad they didn't drain too much of your blood!

Those aren't even that weird! Check out this sitehttp://www.dumblaws.com/laws/ Here are some that are from the state of Massachusetts: It is illegal to give beer to hospital patients. Candy may not contain more than 1% of alcohol. Shooting ranges may not set up targets that resemble human beings. At a wake, mourners may eat no more than three sandwiches. Snoring is prohibited unless all bedroom windows are closed and securely locked. An old ordinance declares goatees illegal unless you first pay a special license fee for the privilege of wearing one in public. Taxi drivers are prohibited from making love in the front seat of their taxi during their shifts. All men must carry a rifle to church on Sunday. Hunting on Sundays is prohibited. It is illegal to go to bed without first having a full bath. A woman can not be on top in sexual activities. No gorilla is allowed in the back seat of any car. Tattooing and body piercing is illegal. (Repealed in 2000) Children may smoke, but they may not purchase cigarettes. (I think this is because you must be 18 to buy cigarettes in most states) Tomatoes may not be used in the production of clam chowder. Quakers and witches are banned. (Ah, the legacy of the Salem Witch trials) Bullets may not be used as currency. Massachusetts liquor stores can only open on Sundays if they are in Berkshire, Essex, Franklin, Middlesex or Worcester counties and are within 10 miles of the Vermont or New Hampshire borders. (Because they sell liquor in Vermont and New Hampshire on Sundays!) Alcoholic drink specials are illegal. Public boxing matches are outlawed.

they are also looking for hernias or other lumps or bumps that indicate something is wrong, any type of hormone imbalance (no not just testosterone) that might indicate an underlying health condition (thyroid problem, problems with your sugar), heart murmurs, etc. Good luck, manpe

Match Fixing - Did it affect us?

I really hope it has nothing to do with Chelsea, I am tired of seeing the club being dragged thru the mud by the media. Let someone else get splattered with mud for a while!! -
Oh, he'll! Just realized I will be on Holiday in Oahu and the game will be on at 5:30 in the morning! But since it is our first day there I may not be sleeping so well. We will see. If trouble comes in sets of three and we've had 2 broken bones (Ba's nose, Cech's finger) then what is next? I am a bit worried!! I hope those out on international duty come back fit and that we some how pull our shit together. **edited because my iPad hates me

What part of Thailand? It is a beautiful country. The "ladyboys" are very hard to tell apart from the women especially once they've started treatment to have their surgery. Before that you can look for a few cues like an adams apple… a real lady doesn't have one! Also watch what restroom they use most establishments have the rule that the ladyboys must use the mens room until they have their surgery (sex change). If you are really curious you can ask, they aren't ashamed of it. However, you may offend a woman. It is a very widely accepted part of their culture. If you have any doubts, just don't even go there! I wouldn't recommend any paid services as there is a high risk of STDs (not surprising) or getting robbed. There have been many reports of customers being drugged and robbed or getting mixed up in other illegal activities. Also, it is very hard to tell how old an Asian girl is she could be 14 or she could be 24 and you won't be able to tell and it's illegal to have sex with a minor. So just be very careful. I researched it for you since I happened to have my SEA guide book sitting next to me and living over here you always hear about someone who has gotten into a bad situation. There is a guy on the board who lives in Bangkok but I can't think of his name… you might ask him for places to see. **Found it Unclezillion is the guy from Bangkok but doesn't look like he's been on since November

ROFL Thanks for all those who said my name should be up there! I really didn't expect it to be. I know I don't post much especially in the football threads, I mostly read those. Some of the comments I admit surprised me but in general made me smile and laugh! @rmpr I am the one that changed my vote after I read your post, I decided I would do as you asked -
I hope that Disney's version will inspire some kids to read Hugo's novel when they get older. My kids both read Verne's Journey to the Center of the Earth after seeing the movie. They loved talking about the difference between the movie and the book!

Thought you'd appreciate this

She's right you shouldn't be doing so much already! But my husband would do the same! LOL I probably won't even watch the Superbowl since I will be on vacation in Hawaii enjoying time with my kids! I'm not much into professional American football. Oh, no I am not an Ole Miss fan, lived near there … when we were in the US, but I am a Purdue University grad (they are awful at American football but are very good at basketball (usually).

Messi confronts Arbeloa in parking lot after Classico

It isn't the guy who shows his anger or throws a fit that you worry about it's the one who hides it and takes his anger out privately that you worry about… that is the guy that is most dangerous. Just saying, especially from a woman's point of view. -
Just heard that Torres has been left out of the Spanish squad for the game against Uruguay but Azi and Mata were called up. Not surprised at all that he was passed over, he is not in good form. However, I couldn't actually believe the bbc had an article about the fact he was left out again! LOL

I have never believed the squeaky clean image. I have a feeling when scandal does befall him it will be very large and quite possibly very funny. -
I hope you recover quickly! I can't comment on your day time tv… mine is the pits but it is English tv in Asia so lots of reruns of things shown during the week So I don't watch it much. Although they do run the original "Hawaii 5-0! Did the bed arrive?
