  1. The fact that he was ignored by both Roberto Di Matteo and Benitez (who allowed people likes Moses, Lampard and Cesar a bigger place in the team after being pretty much ignored by Robbie) to me speaks volume that he is not rated by those who see him everyday in training. Should be sold instead of a loan
  2. Its pretty much been buggered for the last few months. As basically the hard disk (according to the warning messages my laptop keeps sending) is not working properly and at any time could be completely corrupted. Have not found the money to replace or repair it yet. Although its today where the air vents have become incredibly hot and it smells like its burning.
  3. Judging by this thread you would be perfect for this group that you have proposed, considering this little outburst you produced about 10 munites ago. Its obvious that this thread is going to be locked as its going nowhere so I think its time to wish a good day to you sir.
  4. Yes... clearly with this thread it shows that its only me and Pacquiao that you don't ike hearing other opinions.
  5. Don't bother with him Choulo, say anything that he disagrees with and he will try and brush it aside as not being "worthwhile observation".
  6. Its not that rare for players to retire before the ages of 35 due to fitness issues.
  7. Didn't Jose buy players in the January window then sell them the following summer before? I think one of them was Maniche.
  8. My point is that Torres is not exactly the first player we brought and kept where merchandise sales was an influence the decision even if (as with both Torres and Ballack) their performance did not justify the transfer and wages we paid them
  9. We pretty much did it with Ballack...and he was pretty average for the most part.
  10. I have a suspicion we will get a newly promoted team as our first match.
  11. Wait, we are about to buy someone for Porto an they are not demanding at least £203,564,143? I must be in some alternative reality.
  12. I just hope that Mourinho won't try and force him to play like Drogba (i.e as a target man) just because he is 6ft 3, muscular and black. Use him the way he plays best (which from what I have seen, is nothing like in the style of Drogba), not in a way that is based on this fan pleasing fantasy that he is some sort of Drogba reincarnated.
  13. Wouldn't mind him as a squad player, good shot on him, versatile, good work engine.
  14. If we get Cavani, do we send him on loan again or do we try to rotate him with Cavani (which some have suggest)?
  15. Possibly, but then Mikel was seen as one of the most exciting prospects in football when he was seen as a number 10 player, and we all know what some Chelsea fans think of him now. I would hate it if trying him there just so we can try and accomodate him in the team (if Jose decides he does not want him as his number 10) meant it would destroy his massive potential.
  16. Will probably mean we will be playing pretty much as a counter attacking side, since I think thats the best way to play him.
  17. Mourinho will want to have all the established players who were managed under him and publicly support him all the time (like Essien and others such as Lampard, Cech ect) in the dressing room so he has some sort of power base that lets him keep control of the dressing room. So expect Essien to play a good amount for us (too much I fear).
  18. I think there was reports that he was not happy living in Russia.
  19. Didn't Jose say he was not going to spend big this season (although I take everything he say with a pinch of salt, especially concerning transfers)? If that is the case I would rather we would go a for a winger that was heaper and focus that potential £35 million on a deep lying play maker we desperately need.
  20. Wasn't there talk about Mata getting a new deal as far back as December? If so I wonder what would be holding it up.
  21. Oh yes, because when he moves like a giraffe trapped in quicksand, can't tackle for shit (unless he barges in two footed and gets lucky not to be sent off), slows down the play every time he gets the ball and does stupid mistakes that lead to things like penalties (Man City is a painful reminder) it makes me want to just smile at him and appreciate the 2 seasons where he actually was fit for all of it and was above par for us, especially when he gets a place back in the team to do all the above again because his "daddy" (one of the most sappy and vomit inducing things imaginable) doesn't want to say no to him. You do love in the last month or so going through every post I make to try and vilify me about how much of my opinions are not "worthwhile observation", which to m comes across as you not being able to stand that I still post here.
  22. So would you rather he take over Mikel, or actually buy a holding midfielder and get rid of both of them?
