  1. Hush, hush. Only a few more weeks left.
  2. Even if you are completely in love with Jose and never would dare say a bad word about him. You can't - even in the far away back of your mind - not admit that all of the worse aspects of Jose this season came out and magnified 1000x.
  3. You're forgetting that he is also a Premier league footballer, so its natural that he will want as much money as possible. Its just that he also knows the right words to say to the Chelsea fans to give them the impression that he loves them and the club dearly and does not at all care about financial interest. I can see him becoming an MP when he retires.
  4. Well expect him to do it again and again for us next season as Jose will try and force the team to accomodate him.
  5. This certainly looks like it was Mourinho who had an influence on that. I mean they both have such a love fest for each other.
  6. Any relation to this guy? I'll get my coat...
  7. Its scary how dysfunctionakl we are when he and Hazard don't play.
  8. I have a feeling Lampard has won Player of the Year, probably as a protest from fans before he signed a contract extention.
  9. I guess Rafa will be feeling proud that in just 7 months as a Chelsea manager he has won us a major European trophy, while his rival Jose never got us to a final.
  10. Its funny, but that outburst after the Middlesbrough probably was the key turning point to get us to where we are now.
  11. Football ain't half funny. Been shit for most of the season, cost us silly goals in a lot of game... scores winning cup final goal at the end.
  12. I'm taking that with Moses on the bench, Ramires being on the wing was a tactical move? Who plays on Benfica's left?
  13. I was referring to before Benteke got sent off if you actually paid attention. Which proved my thesis that Lampard can't handle the opposition pressing against us. Its no coincidence when we drew 2-2 with United that as soon as Lampard was taken off, had someone to anchor the midfield and allowed Ramires to bomb forward that we had complete control of the game. It shows that Lampard should no longer be one of the main men and that if we are to challenge for the title then thee team should no longer include him as one of the main focuses of our play. Something that I fear will not happen under Jose.
  14. Its funny but Mikel tends to get good statistical scores when it comes to tackling and passing but thats seen as not important when judging him, but here we will use it to prop up Lampard. And about his passing, how many of it was successful how many of them created key chances or build up key chances. Because watching the game you could clearly see him struggling to keep up with Villa's pressing game and for all of his tackling he seemed never to help Ramires with trying to win the ball in the midfield. And that wasn't even (imo) his worse games. Man City away just shows you how easy it is to pick him off the field.
  15. Did he? I seem to remember him being part of the back 4 that conceded 5 to Barcelona, not to mention letting in stupid goals in other games. I remember his last season for Chelsea, I think everybody on this board was demanding he be forever dropped and make way for Alex. It was clear for most that he was declining yet Mourinho took him. Same again with Essien, guy has no kneecaps and for some reason Mourinho wants him, and no way improves the team.
  16. Apart from games when we lose and he has been dreadful again. He is by definition a midfielder and he has to contribute more to other aspects of the team, we do suffer in many games because we don't have a player that can take his place and actually control the midfield for us. Sure if you desperately want him to be a sub player, but that will never happen under Mourinho.
  17. Because I have the audacity to think that aside from goals, Lampard's efforts as a midfielder has been shit this season?
  18. Well that's really how he starts with a club. Gets them to have 100% never ending loyalty with the players he has, which has the unfortunate consequence that when he leaves they become almost unmanageable for anyone who replaces him. He failed miserably with Madrid with that and the way he reacted to it is cringe worthy. I would hate it even players like Mata start developing huge egos like Lampard and Terry and make life difficult for other managers once Mourinho leaves again (and don't think he will stay here for the long haul, the guy can't stay at a club for more then a year before getting in fights with someone)
  19. Took him a year and half before he dropped him, and even then only when he got injured and others perform better. Expect him to try and stick longer with Lampard even though he clearly should only be used as an impact player for next season
  20. I don't base my opinions on what other people think. You seem a bit miffed that I have the audacity not to follow what you and others are thinking. I'm guess your going to spout drivel that I'm not a 'proper' Chelsea fan
  21. Couldn't give a fuck if he broke the record.
  22. Mourinho is a guy that uses emotions to try and get everyone on his side, and now his going back to a squad with a few players who never seem to care about any other manager apart from him. Its going to be like some stupid old school reunion trying to relive old times.
  23. When he was in his prime, but in his last couple of years with us I remember people on this board moaning about ho much of a liability he was and demanded that Alex was first choice CB with Terry. Remember he is going back to a club he worked with for the first time and will have a squad with a few players (Lampard, Essien) who seem to have a never ending hard on from him.You seen Lampard arrogantly claim how much he would love Mourinho to come back. Because he knows he will basically be the focus of the teams tactics again out of blind love and sentimentality
  24. He is a midfielder (and one who supposedly is being played in a deeper position), he is suppose to help the tempo of our play, get the ball to the attackers no matter how much pressure the opposition is putting on us and spray play around the pitch. As soon as the opposition put even the slightest pressure on us he goes anonymous, and often the likes of Mata and Hazard drop deeper and deeper to get the ball back because Lampard does not do it often. Before Benteke's sending off he, like so many times this season, was nowhere to be seen ,not helping Ramires with trying to get the ball back (I won't blame him for Ramires' red card, but he could have done a lo lot better in trying to get the ball back) and was awful in passing the ball (basically just lumping it up the pitch and hoping it would meet someone). If we want to win the title next season Lampard should be playing as impact substitution at mot. But its likely that Mourinho will try and base the team round him in vain attempts to repeat the last time he was here, meaning that the likes of Mata and hazard being compromised because of this.
