On the occasions we actually do get in the ball around their box we look like Mourinho's Chelsea near the end. Everything grinds to a standstill, everyone just standing around. We make it so damned easy for these lesser teams to defend us and get back into position because we're not moving quickly.

A point isn't bad but FML, we didn't even try to win the game, did we? A hopeless match between two hopeless teams. Have to now beat Watford and Leicester to get that Top 4!

NO ONE NO FUCKING ONE wants to posession football. Posession football is the antidote of beautiful football. Posession football is what was successfull 10 years ago. We are playing posession football and it sucks having 70% of the ball adn 0% of the goals . 

I get everyone wants to play beautiful possession based football, but you can’t have only one system. Even in 4-3-3 you can change so many things - not Sarri apperantly. And not giving chances to younger players in dead games is beyond me...

we cant score from open play nor set pieces, cant counter attack cross or shoot from distance. Sarri has made us the most boring and predictable team i have ever seen. 

When the ball turns over quickly we are utterly clueless. It's our biggest Achilles heel. We have no recovery pace and leaves massive areas of the pitch completely vacant for opponents to attack.
That's down to coaching. If we're going to play this shape and system Alonso CANNOT bloody play! 

Hate to say this, but this Chelsea side (I wont say "team" because they're not) dont do come-backs. This could easily finish 4-0 to the rags. Jorginho, way too lightweight and brings absolutely nothing to the table. Alonso....well its fucking Alonso.....What did Sarri expect???? No fucking movement upfront either. We've been sussed out months ago and Sarri-ball just wont work. Goodbye Sarri, you're knowledge and understanding of the ENGLISH game is pure shite and you have failed to adapt to it. Back 4 is terrible...Do not have any football iq...what the hell is with these safe passes and where is movement of our players...i doubt that sarri will change anything...they keep on putting these pathetic performances..i dont think he will last long if he continues like this...Hope they do not score 2 more in the second half...

I agree, should have been more defensive. I like Sarri but we are far to brave today. Should have been more defensive. City simply blitzed us and forget Alonso . Azpi, Luis and Ruddiger lose all their battle that was the problem. 
 

10 days of rest and this happens...Some of these players do not have any responsibility....our defensive organization is a mess..jorginho does not have any positional sense as a cdm..in addition to that he is misplacing passes...kepa needs to improve as well..He is good keeper but does not belong to top class...Alonso the less said the better it is..

The reason I hate and criticize  Willian more than any other player because of his rotten attitude, he feels entitled, has all the talent in the world but seems to not have a brain and finally the talent we have given up since we signed him in order for us to accommodate him. Alonso is a terrible footballer but its not his fault, the geezer actually gives it his all most of the time, however he cant do anything about his lack of speed same as Azpi. Willian on the other hand has all the tools in the world but he is just lazy and arrogant, at 31 years of age he still has the football brain of a 18 year old and it really frustrates me. I hope we move on from him sooner rather than later, he might go on to tear up the league at his new team but that is okay. I feel like a break up would be good for both sides at this point in time. 

Who says we necessarily need a left footed right winger? Think people are happy that we have a right winger who can help stretch play on the right without clogging up the central area like we already are(!) and provide proper contribution in the final third.
I don't deny that Pulisic's US marketability is one of the main factors we've signed him but let's not act as if he doesn't have the potential. You might not agree but he definitely has the talent to be a proper player. If everything goes to plan, then our right wing is sorted for the next 10 years. Is the price tag big? Probably but that's the state of the market these days. The quicker people start to accept that 50-60 million purchases are the 20-30 million buys of 8-10 years ago, the better. The club clearly sees this as a long term investment.

He has less league goals this season than Kante...
