  1. That's like lionsden said above, only with gifs, emoticons, pictures etc. people can come up . So more    But seriously discussing is redundant. As long as we win this forum should be closed and only result be screened. That's what many people want here I see. Because that's the only thing that is worth discussing so why even bother. But I never ever understand how discussing result is interesting. Performance, yes, but result ? Result is a fact and you can't discuss with facts. And forum is about sharing opinions. QPR - Chelsea 0:1. Let's discuss it. Oh now, the discussion ended as soon as I wrote the score. Why some people want the forum to be dead ? more    I simply can't be as ecstatic winning in this way. Winning with the style, putting stamp on the opponent is 10 times better. I watched the first half of Sociedad game in the pre-season and the first half against Burnley like 3 times. Beautiful stuff. You just want to enjoy it and rewatch this and analyse and rewatch again. How can I enjoy this ? I can't. I have to remind myself that we won 0:1 to bring some joy. Long time since I watched the replay of our game.
  2. Simply fuck off. He could easily bring Solanke, a striker, who's more of a striker than Zouma. Hell, even Brown is more of a striker, a winger than Zouma, a defender. What the game he's playing with us ? I think we could run the list of our biggest phobias and it would be nothing in comparison with Mourinho to play "untested youngster" He literally sees them as a threat to the match, not even the slightest asset. He thinks that Brown is going to score own goals for fun, that's how this shit is scaring him. So it's better to play Zouma or 37-year old Drogba with a cramp and no energy left to play as a striker than bring on in-form Brown for the last 10 minutes ? We have the golden generation yet it came up under the worst manager in bringing youngsters through. He made a promise that he's going to promote those youngsters though. We can only hope for a drastic change in his mindset.
  3. He said on the Friday that he's here to build new Chelsea for the next 10 years and that's the most important thing of his job. What the hell is this ? Another lie. What he is doing is 100% quick fixes, short sight solutions. Like if his plan is to be here only those 2 years. He hasn't build anything yet, if he had a fall out with the board for example and there was no him next season then the new manager would have to start from almost the ground zero ! He would have to learn our players how to apply pressing, how to build up the game in possession, how to use the proper full-backs, how to execute counter-attack, he would be at the exact same situation with bringing up youths from the bottom ... LOL ! Let's hope that 3rd season will be finally about building. Then start giving grades. Currently we are in his comfort zone shell. I bloody hope that in 3rd season he doesn't back to his shell as soon as something goes wrong. I really really hope that 3rd season will be breaking season in many aspects. Now is like he wants to have another medal in his cabinet to show as soon as someone want to criticize him to cover his ego. Brendan Rodgers said after last season game against Liverpool that as soon as you want to criticize him, he is going to show his CV and medal lists and say "but it works". And Brendan knows him very, very well. Yeah, in the short term it works, but he's here for 10 years I hope. Then it won't work without proper platform which is yet to build. I don't mind replacing United in winning all Premier League titles as soon as there's no extraordinary side in the league. That's how they won basically their titles in the Roman era I can remember. Only very good, record breaking sides knocked them of their perch, they were winning all the rest "casually ordinary seasons". To take that place is a dream. I don't simply see how this shit is going to continue in the current form though. If less luck, less coincidence, less "winning spirit" (call it as you like) was at our side we'd be fighting for 4th. I don't mind this shit to continue, but I watch football for long, long time to know that playing like this you could easy have been found out in many more games that currently we have been. We've collected like 27/36 points since turn of the year. To analyse game by game you can calculate that in other circumstances without that freaking lucky star at our head it could be even 15/36 . Yeah, I already saw stuff like this that when you play like the way we are playing from the 1st of January you don't win 27/36 points. And you ? Everyone of us saw this.
  4. But we had a game in midweek and QPR had whole week to prepare ! Oh no, it actually was the other way. But everyone here know that this would be brought immediately if that was the case and we would not win. Just 10000000% sure, everyone, it's so obvious. So our whole week to prepare resulted in one shot on target, against the worse side in all aspects of defence in this league. That's ridiculous. Mourinho brain washed people's head with this advantage of more rest days for preparation (mine too ) We were outplayed two times against PSG, once against 10men, even though we two times had a whole week to prepare while PSG played their game on the weekend. Let's not bring this argument, ever, ffs, please.
  5. Easy, we will get the right man in the summer, I'm sure of it. If we had a midfield general, Ballack, Essien etc. it would be so much easier today. But Jose's no blind I hope. We fix this. Turn Ramires and Mikel into Schneiderlin. Turn Oscar into Koke. We can do it.
  6. He does a job ? Hate this sentence. He's an offensive player, period. There was no beasty Hazard today - there was no Chelsea. How the job he does are helping us when Hazard isn't in full awesome mode ? Nothing. He's very poor offensive player. I was very angry on him today. I turn the page now. It's actually Hazard who "does the job" for Chelsea. Eden is 4, 5 times the player he is. The gap shouldn't have been ever that big in such big side like Chelsea, no matter how good Hazard is. When we play decent side and Hazard is covered by 3 players and Cesc is usually taken out of the game, there's no one to create something. How the hell Chelsea can only have 2 players to actually do something ? In Atletico you have Turan who's workaholic, yet effective in offence and always create things. Isco from Real also has learnt how to work hard, yet is still wonderful offensive player. Doing the job, putting shift is always only a bonus for offensive players. I don't have an idea of having a workhorse in the team playing as an offensive player. What Isco and Turan are doing is enough defensive work that offensive player has to do. . He's my least favourite Chelsea player and I generally love the players that put the work on the pitch. However he's so unimaginative, lacks any vision or dribbling and that it often causes many frustration, yet the most frustrating thing is that he constantly tries the same pattern on the right side, step over plus release, always the same effect. How stupid you have to be to try this, wait for it, 2 fucking years waiting for another result ? It's an indication of absolutely idiotic mind. I think many pages ago Barbara said that in interview Willian was seen as very shallow person with silly thinking. It's exactly the same on the pitch with him. He can't turn to Rooney, from stupid person to football Einstein on the pitch, he's shallow off the pitch and shallow on it. Even Kalou tried different things sometimes ! Grrr ... ( Yet we have 3 players like Boga, Musonda and Traore who are very, very creative ... Who can surprise you with their vision, dribble past people, think in unorthodox way. But silent please, they're only kids ... )
  7. In the front of Abramovich eyes ! Good or bad ? I hope that Roman already thinks what a fucking shit it is. And then help to improve this. Please Roman. Absolutely dire stuff and Fabregas was horrific. World Cup winning assist yet he plays passes like that through entire 45 minutes, WTF ?
  8. No, he only can get one through appeal. The work permit criteria only includes top 50 nations now - Burkina Faso is 60 something. That's why I said earlier that I hope Jose will give good speech to commission. When you're going through appeal, every detail counts. You literally includes everything what player has achieved already and also give objective opinion from "high regarded football person" - like Jose for example. You have to convince them that the player is of high enough quality. His goalscoring record and already impressive international appearances will help but who knows.
  9. Nah, it's the same like with every other striker. The return is very good but could possibly be fantastic It's not like he wastes chance after chance. I just think with little more lucky he could score 2 goals every game or sometimes even a hat-trick. But it's the same with Diego, Lewandowski, Benzema etc. with every other striker they waste chances but also score a lot. Age doesn't matter. He's matured enough. He can handle himself, he proves that. Mourinho already said a couple of times that he's "mentally" ready, which for our boss is the most important thing in young player. I think he needs that final push in terms of decision making and especially tactically. He could learn this here with lesser game time because he doesn't have to jump such a huge level in my opinion. Like Jose would say, he's there, just needs a little polishing to be finished article. I think the situation is simple, he gets the work permit, he stays, he doesn't get he goes somewhere. Getting work permit won't be easy. This year the rules have changed, FA chairman already said a countless of time how often the commission gives a work permit for players who doesn't meet criteria. And Bertrand for sure won't meet those criteria. I fear that the commission will be eager to put a real stamp and stop giving work permit for a player who doesn't qualify. So our jewel can be first causality of this new thinking.
  10. I love him, but he's a kid ! 20 games a season and I'd be content. I have an idea that he can play inside RW, half RW half number 10, but for sure not someone who sticks to the byline, dribbles past people and cross. That's not him. He could probably be as useful as Willian in doing that. Something like Mata played in his first season under AVB/RDM is how I imagine his position. You then utilize his passing, link up play and also he can be at the end of the action to use his pace and finishing to score goals.
  11. That ship has sailed. Everyone knew that he's going to leave Sociedad in the summer of 2014. But Chelsea, instead of waiting that 4 months, bought Salah. End of story. I really had hopes that arranged game against Sociedad in the Summer, completely out-of-nothing, meant that the clubs agreed something as well. Sadly, not. But Griezmann isn't RW. He's second striker through and through. Move on.
  12. In theory, yes. Technique, pace, decent strength (he hit the gym for sure, he's broader than last year) and such good vision is everything you want. Also stamina to run up and down the pitch. He runs very high amounts of sprints per game, every one at full speed as well. However he for sure needs tactical adjusting and learning about positioning etc. You cannot forget that he only plays senior football for 1,5 year, so he needs polishing in tactical aspects. But I have to say he impresses me in that because when you switch a kid to play unnatural position and he gives you such good return - that means this kid is matured enough to understand things. I admit he looked a bit lost in playing CF last year but now it looks good. Can he track back though ?
  13. He should have a hat-trick, damned ! He always wastes at least one big chance to score, even though he scores a lot he could have more. Anyway, a very good display. That's 15th goal in 30th game, however more important story is that he has 10 goals and 3 assists in 13 games since switching to CF position. Vitesse really could challenge for a 2nd position if they'd done that faster ! Love him as a player. So athletic, so fast yet as accomplished technically as you like Now onto this work permit appeal. Hope that Jose will give to commission one of the better speeches of his life !
  14. Second striker, number 10 hybrid, something like that. You really want to utilize most of his skills so putting him in CF position is a waste. Can he play as a RW, I don't think he can. He hasn't that beatable dribbling in him. He has great, silky, smooth technique but dribbling isn't his best feature. Vision and link up play is, finishing is, pace and stamina is.
  15. Yeah, I read this and it immediately give me that feeling. He of course said that he's "happy to stay" like it is always done in those cases but he doesn't rule out transfer. Personally think it will happen with Real going for Aymeric Laporte (they already had talks with Bilbao and they want to agree sum without paying taxes). I think we will try very hard to sign one of Pogba and Koke. I hope that the interest in players like Schneiderlin and Andre Gomes only means that we're looking for a decent backup to Matic.
  16. 1) Our 4th CB option is not gonna play much, not under Mourinho. We're now with 6 senior defenders yet Zouma and Filipe number of minutes isn't impressive. So if 5th and 6th option are playing only a chunk of minutes the 7th option will have even worse situation. He can stay, he can go, but situation will be very similar with both outputs. 2) He can still fetch nice sum I can imagine. So let's think that he offset half of the cost of Clyne. It's a very good thought. 3) HG situation isn't bad. You get rid of Cahill and give RLC a full time membership. Also we probably gonna sign an English goalkeeper in the place of Cech so actually the number of HG players will be increased.
  17. I don't get how RLC can be the highest rated player there ! Lol. I fear because he's hyped, even in a poll he's head and shoulders above the rest, but people should be ready for slightly disappointment. He doesn't play consistently well for 2 year now. I rate him highly but not that much. Also author thinks that Boga's best position is a winger and Musonda's a holder. Boga has to play as a number 10 not a winger, it's obvious Those comparison with Kakuta are stupid. He's French and black then of course he's the second coming of Kakuta, just like Zouma is the new Desailly (French and black). It's retarded. He has by far better tools for first team than Kakuta thanks to better strength and better standing on his feet. Their style of play is different. Boga has different movements in him, he's very direct. If the lack of tracking back has to kill such talent then screw this, let's sell him ASAP for good of the football. And Musonda is replica of Iniesta. Fabregas ? I don't see that long queue ahead of them. Oscar can be easily sold, Cuadrado looks very bad and Willian is still very unproductive in offence and already 27 in the summer. (Also Hazard can leave if he calls it a day) And BTW if Isaih Brown is going to play first XI for Chelsea then we're screwed. However I agree with assesments of many other players especially with Dasilva and Christiansen.
  18. Beautiful handwriting. I thought that voting formula was slightly different. But what's better than good old school pen and paper, huh ?
  19. What's with his contract ? Nothing have been reported for months. He was supposedly going to sign the one in the last season but that topic is dead. I feel that he's off in the summer when Chelsea buy new CB. He can still fetch nice sum for the clubs that are desperate to have "Premier League proven" defender in order to stay up in the Premier League and put their hands on this new TV money bonanza.
  20. He looks nothing special for me. Reminds me of Piazon. He doesn't have that x factor in him. So maybe he is an ordinary genius ? I'd like to think that but I don't remember ordinary brilliant player from Brazil. They're either flashy, silky and good or ordinary and average. I don't know what to think about those transfers. Kenedy + Muto + Nathan that's 15m£ ~ 20m€ . For that amount or slightly more you can buy Youri Tielemans who has clear potential to be world-class player. Here I see 3 maybe decent prospects. I don't understand the reasoning behind such deals. It's always better to find one, but reliable quality than 3 from other sides of the world. Remember Piazon for 8-10m€ ? That was stupid. If they really want to buy young Brazilian then buy Gabriel or Malcolm ffs.
  21. Mourinho already answered that some time ago. Pity, I couldn't find the exact quote from the article, however he said something like that : "In Europe, and especially in England, you can't change someone's favourite team and team he supports, but in Asia you can ... then blah blah blah ... we go to Asia and we feel the love from fans there" And BTW, if anyone remember when Chelsea went to Japan in December 2012 to play FIFA Club World Cup. It was sick. Crazy fans everywhere, at the airport, at the hotel, whenever players go to walk they follow him, when they drive to stadium, there's already lots of people outside the stadium. It seemed like if Chelsea were there to promote the brand not to play competitive football.
  22. What he said on instagram ? He gave a hint where he'll go ? Him and Boga have both home-grown status now so for sure they're going on loan. I hope Chelsea choose their destination wisely and with great ground-research, without relying on loose promises like it is often a case. They simply can't fuck them up with some stupid planning, I wouldn't accept if they play the role of destroying such talents
  23. 1) http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/19150-35-dominic-solanke/?p=1077113 2) I really like Jay Dasilva. Rate him both as an offensive and defensive full-back. He's very mature. Normally you have someone who is complete garbage in defence in that age. Technically he's very good, he's fast, agile and has good nose when to join the attack. However, it's his tactical game that impress me the most. All in all he's potentially brilliant full-back in both sides of the pitch. It's not surprising that he plays U21 football when he's 16 - he's ready for that. He is way more of an European player than typical English . It's actually surprising, because in England you have guys like Aina and hundreds of others who are about pace and physicality while Dasilva is more tactical player. However he's very small lad. He is like 1,64m I think. I don't know if England is good place for him even though he's English. I think that he's SIMILAR (I mean VERY) to Jose Gaya from Valencia. The Spaniard is hot prospect for many top clubs after only one season. I'd love if Dasilva was loaned someone to Spain where he'd be appreciated more. I fear that in England he will be lost due to his lack of size. So yeah, I rate him very highly. After Boga and Musonda he's my next the most liked youngster.
  24. He's the one that you pay to watch and don't regret that. He and him alike (not much of them) explain to you why it's worth to pay that extra bumped price to see football. I hope that they start to appreciate him finally. Either on loan or here, I don't care. His talent deserves every bit of recognition. (They still talk in Barcelona how he destroyed them 2 years ago. Actually Barcelona fans know him already from what I read)
