  1. It's all good (I simply love how he always controls the ball slightly to his left foot to give him options to choose, those are easily missed details that for me separate real gems from decent talents) however how was his game from tactical point of view ? All those tracking backs, intelligent pressing, tenacity, maturity, responsibility. Tactical awareness at his best ! If he'd playing first team football then they'd say how developed tactically he is for his age ! One of the best display from that point from any youth player I've seen for years, especially by such quality player (and not the one who's work ethic is only positive thing). He's really matured player tactically. When you combines this with his natural other talents ... VERY GOOD future for this lad. I rate Jeremie higher due to his superior physical features but I think they're on par in terms of natural talent (and some way above the rest)
  2. Really ? After watching him in 10+ games this season I have to disappoint you - his technique leaves a lot to desire, unfortunately :( Finally (!) Boga and Musonda played together and it was very good. They're the most talented out there in terms of natural footballing talent. But Jeremie edges that for me due to his first team readiness with smooth technique, way of thinking combined with strong feet, balance and physical traits. In a team which promotes youth, you should think that 5 of this players are going to end up in the first team in some time. Boga in Liverpool would be on a verge of first XI, if someone like Ibe is. For real, we'd read articles on Squawka how he is the best U20 youngster in Europe etc. His movement is full of that of first team player, his thinking, way to pass, way to create, one touch football and such natural close control, balance, acceleration and agility. Those quick burns of speed and stops are so Hazard. An extraordinary talent. If someone of you saw Hazard in Euro U17 for Belgium in 2007 similarity is about 99%. I just want to release Jeremie and let him play with Hazard ffs (porn stuff) If he had a little bit of attention, after few months, he'd be way better for the Premier League than Cuadrado with his excellent balance, strong feet and technique (features that Cuadrado is devoid greatly). If Musonda had stayed in Anderlecht he'd be on par with Tielemans. Those 8 figures numbers floating around etc. He's got work ethic, tracks back, press apart from his quality going forward. You'd read how "complete and mature he is for his age". Christiansen is very good defender for this age. I've watched tens of defenders at this age over the years and he's probably the best DEFENDER I saw. It's down to his calmness and positional awareness. 95% of young defenders are garbage in that aspects. He really has talent for this. But probably his skills on the ball are the most impressing. He is the best CB passer in the entire Chelsea. I think he'd have a great path in his career if he had stayed in Brondby. Now I don't know what's next with him, nobody knows probably. RLC has stagnated, but is it surprising ? Last season was similar. When he was clearly above the level in 2013 you'd think that he needs the next challenge. He couldn't be loaned because he didn't have HG status, he was too young too for a loan move. So naturally he should get a couple of games in the first team. It didn't happen and motivation and desire went down. He looks actually less impressive than in 2013, but it's not surprising. He needs challenge, simple as that. That "stagnation" is not only his problem. But Mourinho said that he's going to play next season so let's wait for the next season. But I say this now, even IF RLC is going to breakthrough, after my natural excitement goes down, the reason of his promotion will be due to his size. There are players like Christiansen, Solanke, Boga, Musonda who are, in my opinion, similar/better talents, yet he has the size and Mourinho has the record of trusting young players with only dominant physical traits at young age, 6'2" at least. He haven't promoted someone like Boga or Musonda in his career yet. Is that because he is naturally defensive coach and looks for defender/midfield beasts to introduce ? Probably. I'm delighted for the lads and I hope on Monday they prove formally what is known for some time for anyone that watches youths - Chelsea have an elite Academy and some of their products are on par with the best youngsters around. But you can't be overly ecstatic for well-known reason, sadly.
  3. He's 31 year old, converted from CB to full-back in mid-20's therefore he wasn't prepared to be natural athlete to play as a full-back. You'd think that's the time to look for replacement ? But I believe that it isn't necessary indication that they're looking for a new RB in the summer and if they miss Clyne they'll turn for someone else. I think Chelsea are opportunist and when they see occasions like this they can be interested.
  4. KINGGGGG ! Fuck this, I rate Solanke, Musonda, Christiansen and RLC very highly but Jeremie is that cut above the rest. You have to see his movement and what his head told him to do to see that very much Hazard in him. So talented as well with : a) fantastic close controll fantastic balance c) fantastic agility d) fantastic acceleration Plus he's stocky, not some lightweight. Lack of first team involment is killing me. Not even a minute ((((((
  5. LOL ! What a complete and utter BULLSHIT. I lost count how many times he brought player(s) fitness condition, week without training for half of a team and late physical test pass as an excuse. I love Jose but I don't know how the fu** he still can lie in such a straight way. The speed in how he quickly bring made excuses indicates that he indeed gives a thought about injured and players who are out.
  6. Or "What do you think of Sterling interview ?", "Any comment on Pardew head-butting the player ?" "Why do think David Moyes was sacked" and classic "Who do you want to win the Premier League, Manchester City or Liverpool ? A lot of neutrals want Liverpool because of the anniversary of Hillsborough ..."
  7. Because everything what he told here, he already said a couple of times ? At least I didn't learn anything new. Nice interview but for Mourinho fanatics it's disappointing. That's my feelings. But once again he reiterated that "the most important thing about player is talent" Everyone should learn that it's difficult to talk about Mourinho type of players. They certainly have to be quality. So I believe he doesn't accept some of current players and he's going to replace them. When journalists speak with him one-on-one they have an opportunity to speak with calm Jose without big possibility of being dumped when certain question is asked. I would love if someone would take that opportunity and said "Ok Jose, but why you're so negative in the big games, huh ?" "Why are you so afraid to lose ?"
  8. This guy reminds me of Heung-min Son. I know that the latter is Korean but those Asian player share the same traits. They all have very good work ethic and every one is ridiculously two-footed. This guy is no different.
  9. Actually it's POST SEASON tour, which means that after the season ends, tired players instead of going on holidays, they travel to Japan to play some games.
  10. I hate "cheaper alternatives". I'm sorry but 90% of the time that means inferior players. Yokohama Rubber sponsorship, Champions League prize + TV money, new Premier League TV deal [2016] are going to bring around 95m of pounds of additional money comparing with this season. 95 millions of pounds EACH AND EVERY YEAR. Plus we're clear of Torres costs and 50m loss made in 2012/13 season, because next season starts new monitoring period and 2012/13 deficit will not count in this new period (monitoring periods are accounted in 3 years span) FFS and we need only 3 quality players, not whole squad, but we supposedly settle for cheaper alternatives, when there's money to go there and buy real quality ? Matuidi, Andre Gomes, Schneiderlin - ffs, no, please. However I'm sure that club will do the right thing and try their best to get Pogba/Koke.
  11. wtf ? I know that team needs stars as well as functional players but we lack the former not the latter ! Oscar and Willian are enough of dire players offensively. Add to that Fabregas who's as easily nullified as you like against strong opponent and we again are left only with Hazard who can actually do something. Money is there to go there and buy quality starter players. Next 3 acquired players - 3 very quality ones. Improvement with big "I".
  12. He spelled Azpilicueta name correctly, though.
  13. Mourinho thought otherwise when he put Azpilicueta, his most trusted lieutanant, to play as a right winger to nullify Filipe in CL semifinal at Stamford Bridge last ssn.
  14. Icardi is matured enough. He's a villain type, they grow up faster. Through his charisma, mental strength and, of course, quality he'd fit like a glove in Mourinho team. And you need younger guys in your team. You don't want all of them to be around the same age. Diego and Remy are at their peak and Icardi has that nice gap. It's important if you don't want to all players to decline at once. I'd be happy with Benteke as well. Mourinho likes the strong guys and he may look for replacement for Drogba. Benteke is excellent in the air and is very strong, also more accomplished technically and in a hold-up play than Lukaku. I like him and it looks that he's back. Either of Icardi/Dybala/Benteke would do.
  15. What's wrong with him now ? He dropped with form or they want to chase Brugge and prefer older options ("safe" picks aka Mourinho style) ?
  16. He's the biggest English talent (U19), I've been following him for 2 years now. I'm sure Chelsea had look on him previously and personally I was disappointed that he signed pro deal last year. It's easy to think that Chelsea would be interested again now. He is pace merchant, very big one, but he has skills in him as well, great left foot. And move from Fulham to Chelsea wouldn't disrupt him at all. However, how he doesn't even play for Fulham ? 341 minutes in the Championship while he's their biggest talent for so long, I don't understand this a one bit. Good lad for the future. However, doesn't matter where he goes from that BIG 6 group, he needs a couple of loans.
  17. Disagree ! I am big Gundogan fan. Yes, when he came back in October he didn't look good however he picked up form recently. And again he plays his incisive passes in tight spaces, which is a trademark of him . It's maybe the feature that for many is overlooked but that's what I love the most about him. Incisive, forward passes almost every time he receives the ball, when he sees that space to move the ball forward. Love it. Yes, he still is not in his best physical conditions however it looks better and better. He needs a proper pre-season to get back to his best shape and I believe he will get there, however I wouldn't say for sure. For some decent money it's good investment. Even if he doesn't recover his explosiveness and motor skills in him, he's such a good passer that he'd be good back up/alternative to Fabregas.
  18. While of course both Neymar and Eden have a margin for improvement I think Hazard is the one who can yet explode to the whole new level, literally. Because Neymar has wonderful players around him we know what the deal is with him. He has excellent passers to play link up game, has technical players all around the pitch, has probably the best overlapping full-back behind him in Alba, has wonderful passer in Messi to spot his movement, has wonderful technical striker to play a through ball to him or combine with 1-2 move. While Hazard doesn't have that help. He doesn't have such passers around him, the striker he link with is not great technically, if he makes the move there is one player only who's able to spot him, he doesn't have an overlapping full-back at all. I watch Eden for years now and I have a feeling similar with certainty that when Hazard will have enough support around, who are worthy him, he's going to explode into 35-40 goal a season man. He's that good and so consistent currently that I think he isn't the one responsible to take his play to the new level but a team around him.
  19. Enlight me what's the reason. Mourinho currently plays things as conservatively as it is possible, he doesn't want to risk at all, only hides in his comfort zone. That's why he plays Cahill over Zouma, doesn't drop Ivanovic, doesn't rotate Matic, Fabregas or Oscar despite all three of them being clearly off form for months, supposedly protects RLC and doesn't give youth even a spot on the bench ... And yet Courtois is part of his comfort zone IN THE PRESENT TIME.
  20. He scored 14 goals in the league in his first season in England, so he didn't flop at all. What happened in his second season ? What I know is that EVERYONE in EVERYWHERE is going to tell you that he had an attitude problems. You can't help them. Everyone may have an opinion, but quality players that comes to England are doing very well, especially those from La Liga. This league is particularly kind for the players with high technical ability to flourish here.
  21. I'm done with cheaper alternatives. I just hate them. We somehow always end up with cheaper alternatives to only later says that they're not good enough. We have Chalobah, RLC and Baker and I 100 times more prefers them than "cheaper alternatives" types. Things are different with a proper WC players. That's the players we should aim to buy now.
  22. Rotation ? What are you taking about ? I'm talking about starting CB. And we need that guy in the summer. Mourinho will mess around with Zouma and plays Cahill unless he's clear liability to drop him off. This season Cahill is Mou's "safe" option and will be next as well. We need starting material CB, fast, proactive and ball playing type.
  23. Of course he'd thrive here. He'd be one of the biggest stars of the Premier League. I don't remember the last time that someone of Neymar's ability and such quality has failed in the Premier League. This league is usually kind for quality players no matter their posture.
  24. Well, in my opinion the new CB should be a top priority. I believe in Zouma too but Mourinho doesn't. It's clear as day that Cahill is ahead of him whenever he's not one of the biggest liability around . So by not buying a new CB you have a paring of JT-Cahill for next season and I believe that is one of the reason that holds this club back, because everyone has to cover for defenders who can't take care of themself and needs a maximum protection. I'm not the only one who thinks that. "Backup midfielder" more like a clear starter midfielder. I'm sorry but Cesc already proved x times here and in previous seasons that he's taken out of the game very easily whenever he faces serious opposition. Pff even Fellaini made him invisible man and we were without central midfielder. He can't deal with pressing and often ends up doing nothing, just strolling around. A new central-midfielder/number 10 hybrid is a must.
  25. The most baffling thing in these discussion how often one wants to belittle the other player ability. Example from this discussion - someone says "Hazard has a very good dribbling but Neymar's is also very good. Ok maybe Hazard is better here" For fuck suck, the best beat of Hazard play is sooo diminished here. Eden Hazard has immaculate dribbling, absolutely the best in the world alongside Messi. He's constantly a beast in taking on people, no matter what player he faces, if it's a rain, sun, small pitch, large pitch, home, away or when he's designated to be the only attacking threat in the team, he is always there with his ridiculously consistent dribbling. Don't deflate that, please !
