It's safe to say Roma is out of the race when they buy Salah. They have zero non-EU spots left and with Salah and Castan (who comes back from long injury) they already have to make a room for those 2. They will look for someone with EU passport for LB spot.
-
I'm still reading that he's ball-playing centre-back yet I find his passing very unimaginative. I will have a very close look on him today and try to figure out what his passing like. It's very encouraging though that we've been linked with CB over the last week. John Stones is far from my favourite and if they place 26-30m£ bid and still got it rejected then we should pursue others. Alessio Romagnoli is no worse and he would cost 22m£.
-
Well, more than Chelsea bid for Stones pleases me the fact that they bid for a centre-back. So they see the problem. Probably it's repercussion after Everton agreed the deal for Evans, though Di Marzio reported that Chelsea are indeed interest in Stones a few months ago.

According to https://twitter.com/LucaMattiacci Barca received offers from Chelsea and Arsenal for Pedro, exceeding 25m€. Player's leaving depends where he can get enough minutes. Again, take it as you want. Joining the discussion IMO Pedro would be a starter here.
-
He was left out to accommodate Moses. Although he tweeted this : https://twitter.com/MusondaCJR/status/620943851168116736 Maybe he was promised to come back after Moses, Cuadrado, Salah and co. will be cleared out. What "even bigger season" can mean otherwise ? On loan ? And by the way, I can't go to his Instagram. Has he deleted his profile ?
-
Proactive centre-back. That's it. Otamendi is there and is gettable for 35m£. Perfect age. If we save money on Aranguiz and Pedro then I think we can splash a bit more on top CB.
-
1) Even father of Boga talked that there's an opportunity for him to go to Marseille - it depends what Bielsa wants and if he can get him playing time. But I think there's bigger chance that he goes to Rayo Vallecano - they did brilliant job with Kakuta and Chelsea like to send youngsters to proven places, Christiansen send to Gladbach after Thorgan, Baker to MK Dons after Bamford etc. So I'm expecting him to go to Vallecano, if there's still the same coach (I checked now, there's). 2) Don't know about Musonda but he probably suits Marseille more than Boga - he has stamina, intelligence and willingness to track back, he's far more polished tactically. But who knows, maybe he stays, IMO he's ready to get 15 games in the next season but I'm expecting him to go on loan just yet. 3) Jake Clark-Salter, good prospect, ridiculously good passer as a CB (JT-like), good size but lacks pace which he got exposed in the youth. Positionally he's good.

http://sportwitness.ning.com/forum/topics/24m-chelsea-transfer-could-be-done-by-friday-talks-progressing Please be true. And Chelsea, why they're asking for more ? Get this money and run. After doing such a blunder and getting player completely unsuited to the league and yet still getting out of this with almost break even would be fantastic.
-
I'm warming up to this idea IF we bring another top CB/CM to that. Him and Aranguiz are roughly 50m€, we will get double that from sales. If let's say we bring Otamendi thanks to saving money here I'm all for it.
-
The source https://twitter.com/LucaMattiacci/with_repliessaid that Reus only wants Real Madrid. It's still long shot to say that Reus will leave, we should know more in the next week, maybe the news finally will be leaked to mainstream media and it will be all over the Internet. So better wait and see and I'm only taking hypothetically now IF Reus goes to Madrid then we can move for Isco. If I have choice it's Reus > any player on the market though.
-
If Real sign Reus then Isco is available I think. Will require bid over 50m€ but he's worth it. Amazing talent. Juve try their hardest to get Oscar I read. I'd let him go. We were so interested in Isco in 2012/13, remember ? The whole "Piazon loan" over there to Malaga as a nail in the head to get favourable move for Isco. Hopefully positive vibes from Chelsea board towards Isco are still there.
-
Why people are so money oriented ? It's huge price and wages but City are ready to pay that and much more. Sanction for FFP breaching was lifted and we should be worried that now they can sign such talented players. Who's next for them ?
-
http://www.football-insider.co.uk/revealed/raheem-sterling-set-to-join-manchester-city-next-week-in-45million-deal 40m£ + 5m£ bonus on 150k£/week is acceptable IMO. Let's say that selling Moses, Atsu, Piazon, Kakuta, T.Hazard, Salah cover that cost and all of them will leave Chelsea in the next 2 summer transfer window. Money is not an issue. He's exciting very good player already and probably the very best "project" in football alongside Pogba. Shame that we miss on him.
-
So we're about to sign Aranguiz and Pedro for combining 50m€ fee. We will get more from sales on top of own money. Hmm who is this big player that we're saving money for ? Don't get me wrong, Pedro is a good player, better right-winger than Mata, KdB, Salah, Schurrle, CUADRADO and anything like Douglas Costa or Enner Valencia we've been linked with. But it again smells me yet another "cheaper alternative" and I dislike it very, very much. Again paying over the top for cheaper option while we can't go over the top for top quality. Pedro is the kind of signing that I settle with in the last days of transfer window after hard effort to get Reus, Griezmann, Isco, Sterling etc. Not now. His clause is there and it won't get away. He's way better than Cuadrado so can't say no to him but feel we're missing the point.
-
Yep, that's what club think about. Although they will try to sign Lacazette but won't get over the top for him. Remy leaving has nothing to do with Falcao as far as I understand. I read in one reliable place (ask where if you want) that Remy was bound to leave in March already. Not sure what happened but is something about club and Remy. Really don't have a clue what is this since Remy proved to be excellent backup but yeah, decision wasn't made over the last few weeks but months ago. There are some things that normal people without knowledge can't understand and this is one of them.
-
Interesting. Odds are hugely against Laporta right now. Come 19th July and there will be many rumblings about Pogba I think.

The market is active and heated Otamendi Florentino is pending, Mourinho called and ask price PSG) The 'saga Otamendi' is about to be unleashed. In July 26 (day Argentina must appear on Valencia) right around the corner, the transfer market has not yet experienced its breaking point. After a season-high performance, the central object of desire for the most powerful clubs in the continent. However, the summer just recorded significant movements. Football money is stopped, but not for long. As soon draft economic movement will succeed the transfer circuit like a chain reaction it were takes place. And as recognized by the major market players, that is about to occur. Behind this scene of apparent calm frantic activity and the name of the Argentine center it is in the eye of the storm unfolds. So is the market for Otamendi. Eugenio Lopez, representative of the player, is currently in Europe. A few days ago he landed in Madrid and has been told this newspaper held a face to face meeting with Florentino Perez. The chief executive of Madrid has a vested interest in bringing to Valencia at the Bernabeu. In the meetings that his team played against Valencia, Florentino was captivated the fighting spirit of Nico and his attention solvency with which his opponents is imposed overlooked. Interest is strong, the defense is a man of the president, but it all depends on the evolution mess with Sergio Ramos. So he took him to his representative, with whom he negotiated last summer arrival of James, one of his favorite players. Madrid, acknowledged the player's own environment, settle a first level of the ladder of clubs interested in acquiring his services this summer. Valencia's approach, however, remains firm. Fifty or nothing. Except as stated over and over again before leaving the club and Lay Hoon reaffirmed in this farewell appearance. In the same step that Madrid is Manchester City, which has put Mangala in the market and is willing to make a major effort to sign him. And just behind, in the background, it is his neighbor United. Van Gaal's team goes crazy to incorporate a core of guarantees, leads all players'tocando' season that district, but interest has cooled Nico. Varane, Howedes, De Vrij, Hummels, Marquinhos, the Otamendi own ... The casting is very large but no clear favorite today and Ramos. Plus, with the possibility of negotiating with De Gea as currency in Madrid. More clubs in touch In a final level Chelsea and Paris St. Germain, the two clubs who have joined later to the race for player of Valencia appear. Mourinho this week Jorge Mendes phoned and asked her to take him to London Otamendi. The Portuguese coach wants him to his orders and go on a spare Valencia high level for a natural leader like Terry, who has a duo with Cahill, while Zouma, the other main campus, has moved the midfielder. The situation with the PSG is also hot. Thiago Silva is likely or Marquinhos out in the coming weeks and on Wednesday, when Mendes negotiated arrival of Di Maria, executives of the Paris Club took the opportunity to ask how much it would cost the arrival of Otamendi. All clubs offer between 3'5 and 4 million euros per season. The player is on vacation in Buenos Aires and want everything as fast as possible is resolved. (via Google translation) Super Desporte is local based newspaper in Valencia. They supposedly have good connection with the club. If Mourinho phoned to Mendes then there's very good chance Chelsea are interested. Also every club know the price - 50m€. Is he worth it ? 27 years old for 50m€ ? Thanks to good pounds to euros rate it's 35m£-36m£. Huge but if he is able to maintain his last season form then he's worth it. Player in his prime who could slot straight into the first XI.

https://twitter.com/LucaMattiacci/with_replies He suggests that Benzema will be replaced but not by Ronaldo but Lewandowski. They want to sign both Lewandowski and Reus. He says that Madrid had fruitful talks with Borussia over the last week. Firstly, they offered 40m€ then 47m€ and eventually they settle on 50m€ but in one huge payment which Madrid agreed to. Reus will earn 7.5m€ a year + 2.5m€ bonus. The only sticking point now is 5m€ upfront payment and 1m€ a year for Reus's agent. Lewandowski : Bayern originally wanted 60m€ for him but now they want to expose him in auction and want to see what both Manchester clubs will offer. But Madrid is positive they can bring him, with salary already agreed. Take it as you want.
-
Did I miss something about his contract renewal ? He has only one year to run. Though I guess they indeed signed him and didn't announce it because I simply can't imagine otherwise, it's too much illogical for this to happen. Good team, I hope he will get plenty of minutes but I thought they won't need him since they recently signed centre-back.
-
Wow, you must have missed last season of Isco. One thing that he was praised from left to right and after every game was his defensive commitment. He's done huge step in that regard. He can chase opponent to own box like a dog. Certainly is at level when you seriously can't demand more from an offensive player. Signing Isco and we immediately go from bad to good window. What a signing that would be. Two of the most young exciting offensive players in Hazard and Isco in one team. I know Chelsea had sustained interest in Isco in 2012/13 so they would be interested I'm sure. Real have to pursuit another big signing to let this happen.
-
They already signed replacement for Griezmann and it's Luciano Vietto. Also apart from Ferreira Carrasco they will try to follow it up with either Gaitan or Callejon. It becomes quite squeezed there when you consider that they also have Jimenez and Correa. For me Antoine Griezmann is still obtainable.
-
It would be weird to lose him to Roma. I follow Roma supporters on Twitter and 13m€ + bonuses is max they can offer. Roma is not in position to offer more for a left-back. So here it is, Chelsea simply can't lose him to Roma. When I see what Augsburg say they just wait to sell him to highest bidder. Also the whole "prefer move to Roma" approach by Baba Rahman is maybe there only to get more money from Chelsea. I don't know what they think in London but if they only can offer 300k more per year than Roma (2,5m€ to 2,2m€) while offering significantly less certain playing time, there's no brainer for the player. Money talks. They have to offer significantly more than Roma and Baba will be happy to join. If Chelsea blow this chance to Roma then I don't know what the hell is happening here.
-
https://twitter.com/DIRECTVSports/status/618882249258307584 Seems like he goes to Marseille. 10m€. When I warm up to the idea it is quickly taken down. . Still some hijack maybe but doubt it. Also Witsel agent said they had an agreement with AC Milan on personal terms and they only have to deal with Zenit now. Don't know who that midfielder will be we're about to bring.

Point taken And how sweet you're talking care of other people intelligence. I read this shit without sources or confirmation if they have Emenalo over the phone over the last 3 years and selected which are good or which are bad. If Vidal deal won't get through then (indirectly) I AM SHIT SOURCE. Why people dictate here what can be said (Mourinho criticism or general assessment of our play, I read we shouldn't write about this, now I can't write about transfers in transfer section ). But I have to disappoint you, I will continue to drop the info for even one person only. Rant on. Personally, I had one amazing guy on Twitter (Twitter, yes !) who had everything spot on in 2013, then one transfer fell through in late January 2014 and he was abused by a few of bullshitting and quitted. I read this key word "bullshit" used here so I won't be continuing replying, it's pointless. So many good sources dried up because of abuse I'm sick of this. Rant over. I'm convinced that Arda was offered by his agent to many clubs. Can't imagine that Chelsea just said "nah, fuck this". Probably offered some sum (I believe it was 28m€ + 4m€) which at the end wasn't enough. Barca pushed too hard for this transfer and Atletico just obliged. Arda was tied since he wanted to depart from Atletico for quite some time and Atleti only wanted to get the biggest price so they accepted Barca offer (which is fantastic offer of course). I'm sorry, I can't believe in story by his agent that Arda only wanted Barca Of course he only wanted to join Atleti rivals, wait 6 months to play a game and have such competition in the squad as Barca have ... Bullshit ! () Peace.
