The attacking midfield needs to go for the jugular more than they did against Sparta. Hazard, Mata and Marin combined for 10 turnovers, only one shot on goal. They are handicapped with Torres who took 7 shots, only 3 on the mark. I know Ba should start vs Brentford, barring an excellent training display from Torres, ( I'm kidding ) but they should consider playing without one in Europa or at least make a cardboard cut out of Torres, same effect.

Three different managers yet always being called upon to rescue their collective asses even despite the additional 80 million spent on other creative players. He hasn't even been here 2 years and already some are wondering if he has a spot in a Mourinho squad? You're right pure blasphemy.

Exactly. He's got the makings of an English Xavi. Amazing vision and beautiful passes. If Chelsea don't want him he'd fit right in at Barcelona. He doesn't have to tackle the shit out of everyone as a DLP, for god's sake Pirlo isn't a tackling machine! So I don't see why Josh has to HARDEN the fuck up as one person says. Josh is finally getting minutes on loan just like fucking Lukaku but since we got Torres everyone creams their fucking pants for Lukaku to come back right away. But Josh they don't seem to have that desperate need for because Lampard is on a roll right now but he will shine for Chelsea in the future. Oscar is not a DLP, he is a number 10 like Mata but in all honesty shouldn't be here in the first fucking place! It's a CLUSTERFUCK with CAM's trying to fill a 3 band in a 4-2-3-1 especially with De Bruyne due back next season after playing CAM at Bremen FFS! Josh is not hyped up BECAUSE he's ENGLISH, because he is an amazing fucking wizard passing the ball!

U21 coach Dermot Drummy says Nathan Ake and George Saville are travelling to Prague after their match....but in regards to Marin, he says Marin was required to play 60 mins for 1st team requirements. No mention of Marin going to Prague. Go figure.
-
I was reading the U21 match report and Dermot Drummy said Nathan Ake and George Saville will be traveling to Prague. Hooray youth....

Thanks for one good season since 2007, and putting more effort into your hairstyles. Useless.

It does sound odd, but so was the pursuit of Jack Butland.

If Cech continues at a top level for another four years, Falcao is winning Golden Boots and Chelsea are collecting trophies, would anyone still be sick of the thought the day Thibaut was sold?

Deep lying playmaker. Something sorely needed. Andrea Pirlo recently attempted like 92 passes with 92% accuracy, 14 long balls with 9 of them accurate. Looking over the statistics of Josh McEachran on loan, his passing accuracy is almost 95% many times and his final third passing accuracy is near 90%. Does he need another loan next season? Let's let the next manager decide in the preseason, but for me I'd include him with some rotation.

Rafa should play Hazard as a false nine. It worked out well for the last manager.
-
Eden Hazard can be accused of the same. These players are asked questions that will set up a response to sell that reporter's paper. The media, fans and retired legends like Pele have put such an enormous pressure on this young man it's scary to imagine trying to live up to all that expectation.

Screw this competition and send the NexGen squad. Teenage superheroes.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B2jmJI1jisc Neymar completely bullied off the ball by bigger defenders in this clip. Tries to do it all himself though.

Just think we will go through this roller coaster of "will he stay or go" next season with J.T. as Roman finishes up getting rid of the powerful influences in the dressing room that forced him to fire most of these managers, except for Hiddink, Jose and RDM. Sad how the icons are going out though.

So with Luiz and Lampard you've got TWO offensive minded holding midfidfielders who will bomb forward and leave the defense exposed. This has the makings of another chock job

Hey Neymar, you say you never heard of Joey Barton? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dsd34urGtCw

I believe the club thinks in this same way. That's why the squad is so thin and just one striker brought in because Sturridge wanted out so they needed cover. Having Rafa who was there when Torres was great and now looking at the results with both of them will make Roman realize it's a lost cause and having spent a season in the EPL did Lukaku a lot of good. Belgium's national squad is on the rise and Chelsea want to benefit from that having several of the starters in their club. Hazard wants De Bruyne in the squad and it'll happen for sure. I feel like I'm giving Emenalo credit here and maybe when all is said and done he'll look like a genius but him allegedly suggesting Rafa irks me but I can see why when so much was paid for Torres and they wanted their investment to pay dividends.
-
I think any contact between Roman and managers like Hiddink and Mourinho is all just Roman picking their brains for advice.
-
I wouldn't get too upset since KDB has made remarks before wondering about his future at Chelsea. Was it poor on the scout's behalf hell yes it was. I was watching highlights of Belgium v Slovakia and it's pretty fucking awesome to see Hazard, De Bruyne and Lukaku knowing they could be in the starting lineup next season.

Alexander Song. I know Wenger wouldn't sell him to Chelsea but he would've looked awesome in blue.
