Pep has way too much hair in the comic.
-
I think the season is f*cked as long as a certain segment of players refuse to ignore the drama and just earn a f*cking paycheck.
-
Looking at the current "attacking" side of the midfield, Moses, Mata, Hazard, Oscar, Marin and Piazon, where will Kevin DeBruyne and Josh McEachran fit in? Will the two of them be sold? Piazon could be loaned for more action and Marin may end up back in Germany. But if Chelsea are going to bring in another striker funds need to be raised. Some loanees out there could be sold like Kakuta, Lalkovic, Van Aanholt, Gordon, Davila, Clifford, etc.
-
How about Luis Enrique taking over? A cheaper alternative to Pep, won't want a lot of power but with his Barcelona background could bring that attacking style Roman craves. He never really had the squad at Roma that he could have at Chelsea.

I hope Chelsea use de Vrij rumors as smoke screen to go after Jordy instead.
-
What a great topic to post. Of course the anti Chelsea writers in the media fail to point out all the managerial changes elsewhere in the world of football. Because Roman crashed the party and pissed in the punch bowl at the party where only Arsenal, United, and Liverpool were invited. Feck em'!

Jordy Clasie of Feyenoord would be amazing in the double pivot with Ramires.
-
What ever happened to if you're good enough you're old enough? But being realistic, it would be more beneficial to get a loan to a Championship side like Bamford just did and he had a nice debut for MK Dons.

In the 90th minute Oscar had Torres onside available for a through ball or chip but he elected to pass to Moses who passed it straight into two City defenders. Kind of summed up things for me.
-
I'm guessing Torres plays more central and off defenders' shoulders because he can't drop deep and dribble past anyone. I'd like to see Marin, Mata and Hazard with Oscar and Romeu behind them and Azpi, Iva, Cahill and Cole in the back. Sideshow Bob can write love letters to Tito Villanueva from the bench. I'm not concerned about Foy, he will be under watchful eyes for any dodgy calls in light of Twatenburg being cleared.

Alex Pato is now publicly complaining about playing time and his agent will be having a chat with the club soon to discuss his future. Injury plagued but talented and of course will be linked with Chelsea, as he has been ever since Carlo was named manager, and still young. Seems like he would benefit more in a two striker formation which I don't see being used at Chelsea in the foreseeable future. For me Cavani and Falcao don't fit the system either nor has Torres to this point. Lukaku is the wild card in all this. Despite still developing, I think he can do the job as the lone striker in 4-2-3-1 if recalled in January. Maybe Emanalo sees this as well and Chelsea will avoid the massive striker buy in January.

I think Rafa will stun supporters with a side he believes in and what it is is anyone's guess at this point. Having had Xabi and Mascherano in his side at Liverpool he may opt for Luiz and Romeu in defensive midfield who knows
-
Hmmm, for me it was Mourinho calling Wenger a voyeur sitting at home with a big telescope watching others, so obsessed with Chelsea.
-
I read that when Rafa was at Liverpool, the club came close to getting Jovetic from Fiorentina so maybe the interest from Rafa is still there as a partner for Torres up top.
-
I don't know what Benitez has in mind with helping Torres but he's probably going to tell him to be more greedy and don't hesitate or try to walk the ball in, just go back to the basics when you quickly got the shot off before the defender had a chance to react. The midfield is capable of the passes you need to latch onto but you got to get aggressive and stop trying to make the perfect higher percentage (or safe) shot. FFS take a page out of Sturridge's book and shoot the damn ball!
-
Well now that Rafa is in, it'll be interesting to see what changes are made on the pitch. I'm intrigued to see if Rafa tweaks the defensive midfield with a duo of Luiz and Romeu and so on...

If Rafa gets the job I can only assume RDM was fired over Torres. I'd like to think DiMatteo stood up for himself and sent a message by benching Torres because it was ruining the team's chances overall and he wasn't going to sit there and let the rot continue anymore. I would even go so far as to say when Sturridge played better vs WBA and the media was saying he deserved the start vs Juve, suddenly Daniel comes up with this timely injury. Maybe I'm just a conspiracy nut but something really stunk about that and I think RDM had enough and wanted to rally his troops.
-
Thank you Robbie. Thank you for the amazing comeback vs Napoli, the victory over Barcelona heard around the world and bringing tears of joy to my eyes on that historic night in Munich. Oh and the look on that scumbag Platini's face.
-
I'd love to see Yann M'Villa in Chelsea blue in January.
-
RDM should be left alone by the board because they were the ones who felt they didn't need reinforcements at CF and CM, instead gutting the squad in the areas where they now suffer. Give him a pass, he already surpassed what previous managers failed to do: deliver Roman his Holy Grail. Sure Chelsea went out and got reinforcements, but took the physicality out of the squad in the process. There's no mutinies, no players getting on their cell phones and texting Jose, this is down to them not converting chances and they know it.

I'm hoping Chelsea can buy Alen Halilovic, with an agreement to loan Alen back to Dynamo for two seasons.
-
I hope Chelsea stay relatively quiet in the January transfer window and if anything, focus more on making room on the roster for loanees in the summer. Start getting in line with FFP, lowering the wage bill, increase revenue profit, etc. As many as six players could be gone which opens the door for Kalas, DeBruyne, McEachran, Lukaku, maybe Bamford.
-
What club in their right mind would take him on a loan let alone want to buy him in January?
-
How does Chelsea stand in your country?
Blue Gino replied to Yeboii's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
In California when I saw Chelsea play Club America in Palo Alto, Chelsea support was semi decent, (though now growing thanks to CL glory) but overall due to the heavy mexican influence there's a lot of Chicharito MU jerseys. When a MU fan looks at me in my Chelsea jersey they say "sorry bout the shirt" and after I flip em' off, I say if English people came here and rooted for the NY Yankees in baseball it's like an American rooting for MU. I tell them they are glory hunters and to suck my junk. Yeah I hate American soccer fans who root for the "yankees" of England. -
He may be just 16 years old but I'd love to see Chelsea sign Alen Halilovic from Dynamo. Being compared to Modric by scouts and his club. Real Madrid have shown the most interest. Chelsea should make a deal like they did with Genk and DeBruyne. Pay up front and allow him to stay for two seasons at Dynamo where he will get first team action and CL exposure.
