  1. Good job by Mikel today but I'm not gonna hide from previous comments. I just don't care for Mikel. I'm a big fan of Romeu and that's not gonna change.
  2. Thanks Emenalo for leaving KDB in Germany. No width. Replace Lampard with Oscar, drop Ramires for Luiz, bring Terry in. Roman, call a taxi for Rafa please. Maybe the squad lacks major pieces but this team has Rafa on mute.
  3. It's a good lineup put out there. Hazard is tired and Mikel has cement in his boots. 2-1 Chelsea
  4. Kalas has been solid defensively at right back vs Twente in the first half. Has stepped in the middle of defense at times to break up play as well.
  5. Don't forget in terms of a left back signing, Chelsea own 50% rights to Ronan Afonso, part of the Deco deal. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xqvuie_ronan_sport?start=219#.UTymkI69xCl
  6. Moses on the wing, Ramires in the pivot, Azpi at right back. that's all I request, prior to the game and a victory of course. Oh and no late goals from Chicharito.
  7. Kevin De Bruyne says a Chelsea scout visits him rarely, talks to him for a few minutes and says "keep up the good work". De Bruyne says he has no idea if he's coming back next season from loan but if he does it won't be on the bench. Whereas Josh McEachran gets visits from Eddie Newton and he and Josh sit down over lunch, and discuss what the club is expecting of him. Boro sends DVDs of Josh's performances to Chelsea after each match. Josh even says he doesn't see Oscar, Mata or Hazard in his future position. It's Lampard's current role that Josh is working towards as the deeper playmaker at Boro. To me Chelsea have Josh and Nathaniel in mind to represent club and country in the near future to replace Lamps and Terry.
  8. Why have any worries atm in regards to anything with the team though? The board clearly doesn't give a shit. They've sacked managers for lesser rough patches than what the Interim One is going through. If Rafa can bring three fullbacks to a Europa League match, then clearly Roman has his mind on other things atm.
  9. We would actually. Torres tries to avoid having the ball played to him anyways. Just flicks it right back. Or stands outside the box to let someone else shoot. He's such a coward.
  10. I'm talking in terms of giving Mata a break. You know, that thing Rafa was supposed to do but never seems to get around to?
  11. Feruz is fast and loves to shoot. Two things Torres lacks. If you're good enough you're old enough in my book.
  12. Oh no doubt Mata has been great but I'm talking about sharing the wealth there. Oscar has played there why not Hazard? Everyone goes on about Mata needing a break so why not Hazard there instead of Oscar for a match or two?
  13. Just goes to show what garbage Torres is. Chelsea bought an expensive lemon with no resale value. Heard he makes nice cupcakes though.
  14. Jose Mourinho is using Chelsea to improve his standing at Real Madrid. He will force out those who oppose him in the team and stay next season. If and it's a big if, Chelsea really want to promote from within in line with FFP and all that, then Mourinho is not the man for that task. Chelsea need to focus on a manager who can emulate what Jurgen Klopp is doing. Because Chelsea are only getting younger next season if they back what they claim to be doing.
  15. Sure, not including those walking out on a free, Torres for obvious reasons, then I'd sell Mikel, Ivanovic and especially Marin, who made a mistake coming here. I would recall Todd Kane, Omeruo, Chalobah, McEachran, Lukaku and KDB for starters.
  16. Chelsea don't need to add more paid assassins to the roster. They need fire and soul, players who want to prove they belong on that pitch, and that comes from those players out on loan right now who will fight. Lukaku has the fire. He wants to be a Chelsea legend. But it all starts with Roman. What does HE want to do because until he fires that board and changes the culture, youth will be nothing more than an afterthought and a way to make a profit on the side to fund more paid assassins who don't give a fuck about this club just the almighty dollar like Torres that will send the next manager packing in an endless cycle.
  17. Giving youth a chance here is like seeing a UFO, I'll believe it when I see it. Gourlay just announced the club will look to add a few players so I highly doubt youth is in their future. This would have been the season to do it since this club won't win jack shit. Youth so far only gets a chance when they are needed as emergency backup i.e. Bertrand and Ake. Meanwhile useless fucks who collect a paycheck with no one breathing down their necks for a place just show up on the pitch with no heart. It amazes me how much Chelsea brag about their youth winning FA Cups, knocking out Barcelona in the Nextgen series and yet they want to add more from the transfer market in the summer.
  18. I'd like to see Eden get more starts in the 10 role, season is almost over anyway, why not give him a go there?
  19. The writing was on the wall when Di Matteo told Torres that he would be the main man at striker and the club would bring in several creative midfielders to help him. Di Matteo was a dead man walking at that point.
  20. 23 players on loan this season. No mention of wanting to strengthen the team through any of them? This isn't good.
  21. Why recall those players if you're going to buy massive transfers to get in their way?
  22. Isco is coming in the summer. Done deal I strongly believe. Roman loves this kind of player. Is KDB a lock to replace Lampard? He doesn't even know his future at Chelsea because no one there communicates to him while on loan. Does Roman getting Isco make sense? Maybe not to most but then again after they signed Marin, KDB and Hazard, they go and get Oscar. For me this fits what Roman is trying to build at Chelsea. Plus one defensive minded midfielder at the back is enough.
  23. All I know is we didn't have shit for creativity until he came along and despite countlessly bailing this team's asses out time and time again, for multiple managers, bloggers are starting little fires and whispers like the link posted a while back about how he's a weak link. How come Hazard is fucking untouchable? These players aren't perfect. All I know is he was the best thing to happen to this club when he arrived. Now two more attacking mids arrive and suddenly he's keeping the club from becoming better? These two arrived and so far this club hasn't won jack shit and yet Juan is suddenly the weak link? I don't think so. He'd have double the assists right now if Torres wasn't the striker, maybe then there would be more goals and Juan's defensive inefficiencies wouldn't even be discussed because Chelsea would be winning games more comfortably. There's flaws in this squad for sure I just don't think Mata is the one to focus on. Instability with managers and pissing away 50 million dollars on a player who has given up on himself are the big ones for me.
  24. Obviously Mata's not good enough for you in this team. Fair enough.
