  1. The best USA athletes would still choose NBA and Baseball careers over football at the moment... The money factor is part of the reason why alot of USA kids don't choose football
  2. He seems to lack the drive which separates the top players from the average players..
  3. Mourinho signed 2 players that fit his system better than Mata. When Mata was the best player...we had average players like Moses, Benayoun and Marin in the squad
  4. According to the mirror, Arsenal had a bid rejected about 2 weeks ago.. http://soccerlens.com/arsenal-fail-e14m-bid-antoine-griezmann-report/124323/ Interesting tweet by a spanish journo : "Aperribay wonโ€™t sell Griezmann for less than his release clause (โ‚ฌ30m). Especially after the Illarramendi transfer to Real Madrid" I'd much rather Salah (11-15 mil) than Griezmann for 30 mil
  5. That ยฃ42m has to go towards a top-class striker
  6. Moyes won't bench Rooney...and when RvP is fit, he'll play as the lone striker.....hence the only spots left in the team is LW or RW?
  7. United don't even need Mata...Moyes would be better off spending 35+ million on a CM
  8. I don't think Moses was shocking..it was more to do with the contract extension Sterling signed towards the end of 2012. The contract extension basically meant that Rodgers has to play Sterling for a certain amount of games every season until 2016...
  9. http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1687661?cc=3436 Everton to add Lacina Traore on loan....another good addition for Martinez
  10. I strongly believe that Hazard, Oscar & Willian have worked well as a unit. They all know how to track back, unlike Mata Mata as an individual may be more talented than Oscar...but to win games on a consistent basis, your team has to perform well.
  11. I didnt mind the signing of Eto'o because his contract expires at the end of the season. hopefully next season, Lukaku comes back as a better player & leads the line at Chelsea
  12. Unfortunately for Mata, he doesn't fit into Jose's tactics I think Mata will leave at the end of the season...unless someone decides to offer a large sum in January
  13. http://www.football-espana.net/39484/koke-signs-new-atletico-deal Koke signs new deal with Atletico Release clause is now โ‚ฌ60m....not โ‚ฌ24m
  14. For the sake of Van Aanholt's international career, he should stay in Holland
  15. I went out in round one as well...as I didn't realise four of my players were either injured or suspended Completely agree, the cup should be done over two legs..
  16. As long as Essien can't play against us in the UCL...I don't mind this deal
  17. I don't think Kalou can be considered as a goal machine...he's only had one exceptional season in the Netherlands (by exceptional, I mean 25+ goals)
  18. Even if we did 'flip' Courtois for a 20 million profit....we'd be spending most of that money trying to find a top-class replacement for Cech in about 2 seasons time... As for De Bruyne...I just hope we can sell the likes of Kakuta, Van Aanholt and many others for a profit in the coming seasons
  19. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/25770548 Surprised to see Chalobah go on loan to Middlesbrough
  20. @The only place to be, I just don't get why you seem to hate Luiz so much Cahill makes just as many mistakes as Luiz...yet for some reason, everyone loves him.
  21. https://twitter.com/PSV/status/423388255472463873 Bryan Ruiz leaves Fulham...on loan to PSV
