  1. I can see your excitement for Denayer...but let's wait for him to play 10-15 games for City before saying he's better than Varane
  2. I would be shocked if Stones handed in a transfer request. He just doesn't seem like the greedy type...
  3. Credit to Arsenal, they deserved the win This may be a glorified friendly..but I'm concerned about lack of depth in midfield
  4. I just don't get why we haven't signed a class midfielder in this transfer window...as our current midfield won't take us past the Quarter Final stage of the UCL. I would also be surprised if we end up winning the PL title again...as City strengthened, United strengthened and Arsenal added Petr Cech
  5. Oh my god, that would be a perfect midfield!
  6. If I remember correctly, there was a press conference where Pellegrini said Denayer (young CB) and Iheanacho (young ST) would be promoted to the first team as squad depth. I haven't seen too much of Iheanacho...but Denayer looks promising
  7. Cahill isn't proactive, every time I see him play he's backing off the striker and making last minute blocks.
  8. Real Madrid would be happy to sell Navas if they got De Gea..
  9. Moses won't give me any sleepless nights, he's perfect for a squad role and he's homegrown. As for Cuadrado, the sooner he moves back to Italy, the better it is for all of us.
  10. Yeah, good backup and he's homegrown!
  11. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11677/9926210/jose-angel-crespo-set-to-sign-for-aston-villa-from-cordoba
  12. Unless I'm mistaken, Everton hold all the cards...as the player is keen to stay and the club doesn't need to sell
  13. In comparison to Ashley Cole & Filipe Luis, he is
  14. Imagine Douglas Costa trying to play RW at Chelsea with Ivanovic at RB...it would be a disaster waiting to happen. Having two tactically-sound fullbacks (Lahm & Alaba) that are able to defend and contribute to the attack is a massive advantage for the attacking midfielders at any club. At Chelsea, we have a RB that likes getting forward but he's often caught out of position and a LB that is amazing defensively but almost useless in an attacking sense
  15. If only Juventus were interested in Cuadrado
  16. I'm not sure why Cuadrado is still at the club...he looks out of his depth Are the Italian clubs still interested in him?
  17. He's 21...he needs game time to develop and refine his skills, not sure what he'll gain by being Azpi's backup
  18. I've always rated RLC...but he doesn't have a role in Chelsea's first team He's not a deep midfielder (honestly feel Ake is better suited for that role) He's not really a no.10 either (Musonda looks to be the better prospect)
  19. Great stuff from New York, every player on the pitch looked interested, worked for the team and they deservedly won the game Pathetic defending from Terry, Begovic was awful and Azpi deserved a breather in the second half
  20. We still haven't found a backup for Matic
  21. I think we all know what position needs strengthening (midfield)...now it's just a matter of being patient and hoping our transfer team brings in some quality!
  22. I don't think you have seen Isco play regularly, as he would definitely add something different to our midfield.
  23. From what I've heard, Di Maria could be off to PSG
  24. I think Zouma could be Terry's replacement at CB, he's got the talent and from what i've heard, he's got good leadership qualities for a youngster The priority for this transfer window should be buying a quality CM/DM that can fill in for Matic...then we can worry about a backup GK, future RB, new RW
  25. A big time signing would be Isco, Reus. Unless Liverpool lower their asking price, Sterling won't be moving to London as he's not worth 50 million. :blue scalf:
