  1. I agree with everything you said except the bolded part about Brendan Rodgers. Rodgers is a mid-table manager, nothing more, he was just lucky to have Suarez at Liverpool.
  2. Zouma, once again, what a waste, can't pass a ball or get forward from RB...so why play him there
  3. Don't you see it, part of Fabregas' hand is over the line!
  4. Not many options out there if Mourinho was to be sacked
  5. Yea, I have to agree, I never thought we would see two guys with "Barca-DNA" playing for Chelsea and Cech playing for Arsenal but times have changed
  6. Not just money, I remember Messi saying that he wanted to experience playing in a different league (Italy/England were his preferences) later on in his career Maybe now is the right time for him to leave Barca?
  7. There are two major reasons why he would move: 1. La liga (players from certain European countries dream of playing in Spain) 2. Team setup (not all players enjoy being the "individual" as it clashes with their style of play and/or personality) But in saying that, I doubt he ends up at Barca or Real Madrid as they don't really need him at the moment.
  8. ofcourse the message didn't go through, belgiannutt believes his/her point is valid and you believe your point is valid there's no middle ground between the two of you
  9. Armstrong is definitely one to watch, already has 8 goals in 11 games for Coventry and I'm hoping Solanke makes the grade in a few years time As for England's current strikers, it's time for Walcott & Kane to start forming a partnership and easing the pressure on Rooney
  10. Couldn't agree more, begovic has been a very good signing so far, maybe that Courtois injury was a blessing in disguise
  11. We gain nothing by benching him. If you want to see the Hazard of last season, give him a run of games and let him play his way into form (just like every other team would do with their star player) It's not like he'll suddenly gain confidence and sharpness by sitting on the bench and watching his replacement (Pedro) put in average peformances
  12. Maybe we'll see Kenedy or Traore get a 10 minute cameo appearance
  13. FFP only makes sense if your getting a net profit. In the case of Schurrle, we wasted all that transfer money on Cuadrado who looked out of his depth in the EPL (I do agree about the rest of the transfers but not Schurrle)
  14. Are you talking about Hazard or Pedro? Hazard is 24, not 28
  15. http://www.realstreamunited.com/free-live-video-streaming-chelsea-fc-aston-villa-football-england-premier-league-323367.html I usually just check the 'flash' stream links
  16. Bournemouth already have Christian Atsu on loan from Chelsea. Premier league rules --> only one player can be loaned between two clubs
  17. He's better off going back to the Championship or moving abroad as most PL teams look for strikers with strength & pace (Bamford isn't known for either of those attributes)
  18. He's obviously had a slow start to the season but it doesn't help when the rest of the attack can't finish those 50-50 chances (e.g. Oscar, Pedro) Ozil finds room to play those passes because he's got Sanchez, Walcott, Ramsey running off the ball (I wish we would attack more like a team, rather than leave Costa alone and hope Hazard/Fabregas do something with the ball)
  19. At least Aguero managed to score a hattrick against a quality team like Bayern....Costa has been almost non-existent in the Champions league with Chelsea
  20. To be fair, Luke Shaw had already played 60 League games for Southampton by the age of 19, which definitely helped 'accelerate' his development Your point about RLC being a decent young player just raises the same question from the transfer window, why didn't we sign a quality CM?
  21. He's like Schurrle...can play LW/RW, based on skill set, could probably fill in as a striker when needed (still remember that 0-0 draw with United when Mourinho used Schurrle as the 'striker')
  22. City would be better off targeting Pogba. Matic wouldn't be able to replace Yaya's qualities
  23. There is nothing to debate. You go to ANY football forum and there will always be a handful of posters happy to see an out of form player sit out a week or two No one wants to see a player get injured...but if it means another player gets a chance to prove themselves, I see no harm done
