He may be a better finisher but Morata is better in the air, better movement, faster and has proven this season why he should start ahead of him. This is coming from someone who is a fan of Bats. Bats finishing is better and he is good with either foot but in majority of games he has started this season, has not exactly covered himself in glory.

He was rotated at Real last season and they made a huge mistake selling him. Look how Benzema has got in a much easier league, fuck all. He just was in teams that had very good strikers at the time. I like Bats and have given support numerous times but please don't tell me Bats is better than Morata. Morata is a much better striker. You only have to see the difference between when Bats has started this season and Morata. Like I said, I have always said Bats needs consecutive games but stating he is better than Morata is just knee-jerk rubbish, I am sorry.

His finishing is poor but wow, now some fans saying he should be a super-sub and Batshuayi is better than him. Ridiculous. Couldn't make it up. He needs extra work on the training pitch but apart from that his movement is better than any striker we have had for a long while. His movement causes havoc for defenders. If only his runs and ability to get into one on ones matched his finishing, then he would be on tons of goals. Frustrating, however let's back him and support him. He will get his striking boots sorted with time.

FFS! Last minute goal. We should have seen that through. Morata man! How many chances did he have? He really needs to execute his finishing because everything else of his is quality. His movement was first class, link up play with Hazard, top class. Just needs to sort out the damn finishing. He will get it with time but I am still positive he is going to turn out to be a an excellent striker once he sorts that out because the amount of havoc his movement causes is brilliant. Kante was brilliant. Bakayoko was poor first half but second half really thought he improved. Courtois was top class. Christensen was solid at the back again. So annoying because we should not have allowed them to get back in that game. A point suits us more than them but it is just the fact the minute they scored that goal is hard to take. Before any Arsenal fans calls Hazard a diver, look at fuckin Jack Wilshere. He should have been sent off. Although I think Hazard made the most of it, I just hope the FA don't ban him for 2 games because imo he dived to win that. There was the slightest of contacts that may work in his favour. Anyway brilliant game. Just annoying about the last goal conceded as now top 4 is still going to be hard work. A win for us, it would have been hard to look past us slipping out of top 4. We should look at bringing on Willian soon so him and moses can double team on Maitland-Niles and would give us much more of a counter-attacking threat. Not enough support to Hazard when we are attacking.

How about give him some support. Generally in the big games this season he has done quite well.

Another 2 goals and an assist for him tonight. This kid will go all the way. Very humble and driven and getting better and better and can play LB and LW very effectively. He still will not have turned 18 come when the season ends. Put that into perspective. Very diminutive player, playing in a physical men's league but is just so talented and there will be a huge battle for his signature.

I see your point but like Jason said, I don't think that if he wants to leave is the calibre of players being bought. I think it simply is a case now that he has been here for a good what 5-6 years and has done as much for the club as he can and delivered us 2 league titles and now wants a new challenge. It may help but Real and Barca are generally considered the pinnacle for a lot of players, even if they are not as good as they once were, they still hold that prestige. And while it would hurt me, could I understand if he decided to move? Yes. He has given more than enough in his time here and has been probably the best player I have seen in my lifespan to touch Stamford Bridge. He now has a chance to how I see it be a key man for Real considering Ronaldo is ageing and they are in need of real quality, they could absolutely do with him. He would get a lot more attacking joy as well and tbh, a more realistic chance of winning the UCL.

I don't even know why we still have Feruz on our books. Not sure how true the rumour was but a lot of Scottish people were saying Feruz was a lot older than reported and maybe this was something that showed in his development if true. Feruz was way too big-headed also and easily distracted. He has only himself to blame.

This is what I pointed out before the game. We won the game 2-0 and convincingly but I don't see why, when playing at home against Brighton who are going to sit back all game, are we playing 3 CB and then also 3 CM. Two of those CM are workhorses and not creative players. Games against the top 6, like we used against Spurs at Wembley I understand when we use those formations. However these type of games we can easily go 3-4-3 and just play more fluid. I guarantee if we did, we would have broken down Brighton first half. But Kante, Bakayoko and Fabregas all in CM and then 3 CB too. Real lack of width. Annoying thing is if Morata is out then we go with 3-4-3 however when he is back we go 3-5-2. The odd times when Morata played in a 3-4-3 against Stoke he scored a hattrick however in this type of formation where we play without any real wingers, it is difficult for him to score more than one in a game.

I hope we go 3-4-3 instead of 3-5-2. Brighton are quite solid defensively. If we play with 3 CM I suspect we will have difficulties breaking down their defence. I would prefer we go with Pedro/Willian, Morata and Hazard. While the 3-5-2 provides us more solidarity, we have more chances of breaking them down if we go 3-4-3. I read somewhere that we are the lowest scorers in the top 6. I think in these games there is no need to have 3 CM. Espc when majority of them are all work horses and none offer a goal threat from out the box. Hoping to see Pedro, Hazard and Morata up front. Brighton have played the biggest teams in the league this season and not one of them has one convincingly. This is why I would prefer us to go out with all our attacking threat.

Playing Everton at the wrong time imo. They just hired Allardyce not too long ago and guess what, since joining they are unbeaten under him. We have faced two relegation-battling teams who have hired new managers roughly around the time period when we have played them. Palace hired Hodgson not too long before they beat us 2-1 and West Ham hired Moyes not too long before they beat us 1-0. Now we face Allardyce. Hopefully the curse does not strike again. Good chance to go well clear off Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs.

Always been a huge fan of him as he has power, pace and real genuine talent but a loan to a prem team seems a bit premature imo. He does have the physicality but not sure how ready he is to jump into PL football.

Sterling and Sane are having very good seasons, yes but if you swapped both of them for Hazard, City would still be cruising, however Sane or Sterling in Hazard's place and we would be worse off. Sterling, like I said has had a very good season but a lot of his goals are tap-ins due to the creativity and brilliant attacking play in that City team and I am a huge fan of Sterling but Hazard is a much better player even if Sterling has 30 goals by end of season, he is lucky he is playing for a team that will create chances after chances. Hazard most times has to do everything on his own.

Top players have poor games. Against Hull, I thought he was by far our best player and his pre-season form was very good too. It was obvious we let a good player go. We invested in him and did not actually wait to see him grow. It was a huge mistake from Mourinho, no two-ways about it.

He is coming on regularly for them in the league and has started 2 PL games. That is a lot more than he would be getting here. It is for a big team as well so I think he will be happy with his progress there.

Poor performance. Christensen got roasted today however hopefully that is a learning curve for him. He looked really vulnerable and form this performance, I would definitely say in the long run he needs to build himself up physically because Arnautovic and Antonio really bullied him. In general the whole team seemed to not be able to compete physically and we let them bully us. We made Musuaku look like Roberto Carlos in his prime. Not saying Cahill was specifically at fault for anything today however was annoyed to see Rudiger on the bench. The way the defence looked so exposed today was so concerning.
