Garbage. He did not have much end product like majority of team but still looked only player of making something happen before arrival of Musonda.
-
Another ridiculous decision. Batshuayi should have his perfect 100% record in pre-season
-
Musonda looked very bright. You can see he is eager to impress.

Kante man...
-
Daylight robbery. Azpi clearly got the ball and their was no nudge either. Stupid ref.
-
Confusion around this. Moses I think can play Community Shield as it is considered a 'friendly' by FA but will be suspended against Burnley.
-
I am talking about games when Fabregas is bad under pressure. If the team is not helping him and giving him necessary cover, then he will be exposed. Same applies to both. Like, I said not disregarding Sanches but too early to say he is better under pressure than Fabregas when most teams he has played for are far ahead of most teams in their respective league.
-
You can say the same with Fabregas then.
-
If you are saying he is so good under pressure, he would not have lost the ball under those circumstances. Their defending was bad but the primary man at fault was Sanches. No two ways about it. He should not have lost the ball there and should have played it when he had the opportunity. That will be more of a reality check if he comes to the PL. He won't be coming here anyway. Sure of that.
-
He lost the ball, either way under pressure and he was at fault. Arsenal pressed him there and he lost it and they conceded.
-
Well when they played Arsenal, you could say the opposite. Sanches did not look composed under pressure and lost the ball when pressured and led to them conceding a goal. And in the PL, he would have less time to think and play as he did against us. Just to put things into perspective. Fabregas was quality against Arsenal in our pre-season game against them while Sanches against Arsenal was at fault.

They played Barca tbf and he was actually impressive and then put in a MOTM performance against Everton when they won 2-0. A game a lot of pundits and other people were expecting them to stumble in. My point is if we use Boga same way, he could turn out to be as impressive.
-
He nailed down a starting berth last season. He broke in to the team season before that. That is my point but at youth level was no better than Boga. But he was given a chance by Wenger. He got a chance is that second leg against Barca and Wenger kept faith with him.
-
Season before he came in and impressed and Arsenal finished 2nd.

It has already http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/chelsea-taking-mickey-out-loan-10856358

Wenger didn't put him in the Arsenal team because of Okocha. He got their because of belief and Wenger had enough faith to put him in the team. But, yeah Boga won't get that same chance. Iwobi tailed off but when he came on to the scene, was very impressive. I remember they played Barca and thought he was their best player then followed it up by another MOTM performance against Everton and ever since that he has been a big part of their team/squad.

Playing with world class players will help him improve his overall game. Iwobi for instance was prob not even known by majority of people before Wenger brought him through. He certainly was not better than Boga was at youth level but playing with world class stars has helped him up his game. Boga is still only 20 and has a lot of time to add to his game. His decision making needs to improve but for a player who has not really impressed on loan and to have the confidence he did was refreshing to see. He was constantly looking for the ball against Arsenal, making dribbles and they were fouling him god knows how many times. I thought, bar his productivity in final third, he was brilliant on Saturday. The amount of friends I had (some Arse) who were giving him rave reviews. Today, not as good as Saturday, but still one of our better players.
-
Good to see Kante improving his long range passing.
-
We are getting much more into it. That was a fantastic save by Starke from Bats earlier. Alonso has his critics but for someone not so fast, his ability to pick the right moments to go forward and find the net is such a useful attribute. Brilliant goal. Looking forward to seeing Morata.

Christensen has not been as bad as people made out. Made couple important headers and read Ribery well in that one on one. Boga has been one of our outstanding talents in the youth set ups so when people see him like that with first team in any type of game, of course it is cause for optimism. The whole midfield has been exposed so difficult for Christensen and he needs time to adjust with the team anyway. Well the rest of the team need to pull their socks up and help.
-
Boga still has been impressive again and the only one that has really stood out tbh.
-
Look at this from the Chelsea Youth twitter page. Something I have been stressing for a long while:
-
Majority of fans here complimenting Boga have seen him play for a long period and no his qualities. It is not knee-jerk and a lot of us know how good he can be if given the chance with the first team. Meaningless? No game against Arsenal is meaningless and it is important for players who are looking to make an impression.
-
Brilliant performance. Completely bossed the game and his confidence to be so direct in taking players on was so refreshing to see. I just hope this is not a case of deja vu. I remember when he played pre-season for us around 3 seasons ago and went on this solo run where h beat like 5 players against Wolfsberger and scored too and we were so impressed but don't think we saw anything of him during the actual season. Now he is 3 years older and more matured, so hope he can be trusted. These kids from our youth teams don't boss those games for no reason. There are some genuine talents and he is one of them.
