He actually done a brilliant long pass in the first half for Victor Moses. Was really impressed with the way he had the confidence to spray the ball across the flank and reach Moses the way he did. That is 3 games in a row now imo where you he is getting a bit better every game. Keep it up and glad Conte has shown faith in him.

Really impressed with how dominant and imposing a figure Bakayoko looks out there. He seems a lot more confident tonight too.

Finally a nice convincing and emphatic win. Hazard was a joy to watch from the beginning and so glad Conte let him play the whole 90. This game is proof that you keep your best player on the pitch at all times unless victory is all but sealed. The biggest smile I had on my face however was before the game started. So glad we went 3-4-3. Just much more fluid and takes the pressure off Hazard as you have the other winger in Willian causing havoc however him in the 3-5-2 requires way too much reliance on Hazard. I hope Conte persists with 3-4-3 more against lower placed opposition. Just gives the opposition more breathing space. The whole team impressed bar Alonso who was a little below-par but would like to give credit to Bakoyoko. Another impressive showing today. Switched off a couple times however looked really impressive and quite a monster out there with his power and you saw that Yaya Toure ability when he is able to accelerate with the ball. Gives us a good added goal difference too and we have a few nice fixtures in league coming up so good that we ended the little rut. Bring on Arsenal!

Wasn't even a clear dive. Can understand why the ref did not give a pen, however what annoys me is that I have seen refs not take any actions for when players shout/abuse them, and one little thing, he sent Morata off. Azpi came to warn Morata off and he walked off but the ref just abruptly dished out the red card. Cunt. Thought that was a perfect game for Morata to get back on the scoresheet as well which is really frustrating.

Conte bringing on Kante for Kenedy made no sense. Kenedy was useful for the counter. Now we can't bring Hazard on. Seriously can see us blowing it like Arsenal. Pathetic. Kenedy and surprisingly Bakoyoko are only players who comes out of this tonight with their head held high tonight.

He would cost a lot. He joined Bayer not too long ago and all teams around Europe want to rip English teams off. He is arguably their best player right now too, so they would want a sizeable fee.

I don't understand this. We show apparent 'interest' once it looks like United are closing in on a deal with him. The same that happened with Lukaku. If we want a player, show interest from the off rather than wait. Suddenly the board have realised Sanchez is available. Don't buy it at all. Sanchez is now going to come out and say United wanted him more and showed more passion to get him
-
Shouldn't wish that on any player. Grow up!
-
I think it is confidence. He feels so under pressure and below confidence that he is not concentrating and becoming sloppy in all angles of play.
-
I would say plays like Douglas Costa, but with much better end product and potential and if he carries on, he will be a top player. Can't imagine he will be at Leverkusen much longer. We are talking about a player who is just 20 and taking the league by storm.

Man, this player is a talent. He caused Bayern's defence so much problems. His dribbling pace, directness, trickery and balance is excellent. Has a very good shot on him too. I hope there is a video compilation for his performance against Bayern. Terrorised their defence. Probably one of the fastest players in Europe, I am sure off too and he is only getting better. Fellow Jamaican too

I think we will get the best out of him if we stop playing this 3-5-2. The formation is so easy for the defence to restrict Morata. I prefer the 3-4-3, you have the wingers providing balls in and the defence have more attacking players to try to cope with. When you play with a 3-5-2, we don't have the threat of wingers and the creativity relies on Hazard and Fabregas doing everything. It does not help that Alonso is not an explosive LWB to provide the crosses Morata needs and Moses cannot cross for the head level for his life. Morata has been poor though, make no mistake about it, however think Conte needs to change the formation, especially in these home games to get the best out of his striker. The 3-5-2 formation is just so laboured and a more defensive strategy imo.

I still stick to the opinion that he can come good here, but Conte needs to give him a break. He is completely shot off confident and it has got to a point that he is shying away from the ball and he seems also frightened to receive it. He needs to build up confidence. It is good that we have Barkley coming in. Bakayoko just needs to have a little break and work on his technical game. He panics under pressure and he knows the crowd are on to him when he receives the ball. It was actually glaring to see the amount of times, Bakoyoko did not offer himself for a pass in difficult situations because he is scared about making a mistake. Hope he can come good but defo needs a break from the team.

I see your point. I am making my point at anyone who says it is a short term signing. If another team gets him, it is a quality addition which will only make their team better. Sterling and Sane may have scored more than Sanchez this season however Sanchez would prob be on same amount of Sterling had he been playing in that team.
-
He is a B2B player can capable of running past players however he has never been a goalscoring threat. Barkley on the other hand is.
-
He turns 30 at the end of the year. He still has another 3 years performing at his peak imo. He has brilliant fitness and scores and assists. In general, he gets at least 20 goals a season which is terrific. He has not been as consistent this season because I think he wants to leave, however when fully settled he is still one of the best players in the league and would easily improve any PL team. Getting him for around £30m is not bad business as he is a top player. He will improve City or any side he goes to.
-
I mean his playing style in general. We need a player from midfield with the ability to run past players and threaten the keeper. He is the only player capable of doing that in the team which can be a real bonus and a game-changer.
-
Barkley is exactly what we are missing. We have no CM/AM like him. Seriously hope and think he will prove people wrong.
-
We beat them in the reverse fixture, with Hazard a sub and coming on just after the 75th minute. We play them now with a fully fit squad and they have their first choice RB in Simpson injured and Huth and Morgan are both injured. There are no excuses for not winning. Hopefully Morata gets back on the scoresheet for this game. Scored a brilliant header in the reverse fixture.

That would be a silly move. It would look like we are going to desperation to force him to stay. Thorgan won't end up playing here and will end up being unhappy and shipped to another club. Seems like Thorgan is enjoying is football out there too.
-
Now, his hand my be forced. If I am being honest, Barkley would be more suited at Spurs. He can rotate with Alli as Alli needs the odd rest. Barkley can also play in one of their other 2 positions next to Alli and even CM with them and probably would get a lot more starts there too. Time will tell but I am for this move, considering the price being reported. Hopefully, Spurs don't come marching in.
-
Still can see Spurs coming in for him. I would be surprised if Poch does not put in an offer for him, considering price they are reported to be letting him leave for.
-
Technically, Barkley is very good. On top of his game he has everything. Burst of acceleration, good eye for a pass and the odd special goal from distance. Issue is consistency with him.
-
It's absolutely pathetic and shows how knee-jerk fans are. No loyalty at all.
