May not be with us any more but how he has firmed his legend status tonight after his goal and performance against Arsenal. He was superb tonight and completely terrorised that Arsenal defence all game. If Arsenal had won that Europa League and we missed out on Champions League, they would have rubbed it in our faces so I am absolutely relieved about tonight. Man, how we miss Costa so much. Although they have done well with Baker and now Mount, I think Hudson-Odoi can do a lot better than Vitesse. Would be good first team exposure but he can do a lot better.

Will be interesting to see what happens with Hudson-Odoi next season. He clearly is too good for youth and U23 football and has already made appearances for our first team. A lot will depend if we get in the UCL or not. If we don't I think he will stay with first team while playing cup and Europa League games. If we somehow get into top 4 maybe a loan but he is good enough. Has everything and is still bloody 17. Let that sink in. Got so much potential and seems a pretty much level-headed kid too.

Content, but don't understand why we have gone with 3 CM and dropped a winger against a defensive minded team who play 5-4-1.

I would rather players get played on merit rather than a clause. Up to him to step up his game but worrying that again in their cup game a couple weeks ago, he was left out the squad totally and again on the weekend an unused sub.

Martial is much more built, quite muscular/stocky player with CHO on the slim side but brilliant balance. With age, I assume he will build more muscle. But yes, the playing styles are hugely similar.

And Willian instead of Morata?... Christensen will come in for Cahill to I assume. I also think Fabregas will start, seeing as he was left out on Thursday.

He defo should of been given more chances. He typifies the qualities you want in a LWB. Fast, direct, strong, good defensively judging by tonight and ability to constantly make runs in behind. Thought he was very good tonight. I am a fan of Alonso but don't think he will be a miss. In open play, think Emerson gives us much more of an offensive threat. Especially if he can link up with Hazard.

What a talent this player is. Was watching the highlights of our FAYC second leg with Birmingham. Man, this guy is on another level. Was literally Messi-like on the pitch. Still only 17, has featured for the first team in few games this season and looks the real deal. You mean 11 goals in the league. All together 14 goals and 6 assists in all competitions. Hopefully can get to the 20 goal mark. Not impossible.

Mourinho would love a player like Willian. He would be exactly what he needs to balance his team but hopefully we are not that stupid again. I like Martial but instead of Willian, no thanks. He needs a new club though to kickstart his career as he is stagnating at United. He is also best from the LW while Willian can play effectively from LW and RW. Let's see what happens with likes of Hazard first though because maybe we can tempt United with offer for Martial but no swap deal for Willian. Must be crazy!

Have always liked him. He has only just turned 22 and is impressing in the PL. He has a good burst of pace, very powerful, has good dribbling ability and has good technique too. His strength definitely makes him suited for PL football. Just needs to improve on stamina side of things which will come with time but there is a lot more to come from him. On the weekend, received rave reviews for his performance at Leicester. Was a constant threat before he was subbed off.

5th league game in a row he has been an unused sub. BR has not even bothered to bring him on. That is worrying. I thought he was going to tear up this league. Can't even get a game. The last time he started a game was on the 18th of February against St Johnstone.

I wouldn't describe Kane as injury prone. Really, he has maybe a spell where he gets a serious injury and is usually back within a month, however apart from that seems to generally play almost every game. Aguero, despite being injured at the moment, has coped quite well with injuries this season but is a definition of injury prone.

I mean calmness on the ball. He is not scared to carry the ball out. But people here are fickle. I like Christensen a lot but people saw him for a few games and labelled him almost as the second coming of Christ without seeing him play a whole length of games for us. That is not taking anything away from him but it just shows that Luiz was not the sole cause for our mistakes as some were suggesting.

Conte doesn't want him in the XI, so his absence makes little difference. AC certainly isn't ready to be a starter He is injured. I am sure if he was fit, Conte would see sense and realise we could do with his experience and presence on the pitch.

Devastating result but the result represents the gap in quality. They have an identity and know how to play and hard to say but they are on another level to us right now. Although Azpi, Christensen and Rudiger are good defenders, when they all play in one defence, there is a lack of physicality and can be bullied easily by other teams. They are quite on the lightweight side. Espec Azpi and Christensen. You just think what would have been, if Moses had cleared that ball to Willian but he fucked up and Spurs took over from there. It is worrying though how we play well against bigger teams for about half hour then completely get undone. Arsenal, United, Spurs, Roma... the team just seems to lack the sharpness over 90 mins. This loss has all but diminished any hope of us getting into top 4, however it is the results against much inferior teams that have let us down and has given us virtually no chance of reaching the top 4. So much work needs to be done over the summer.

You know the saying: "you don't know what you have until it's gone". He was slated when playing for us this season but you can see how much we have missed him. Without him their is the lack of physical presence and calmness he offers. The defence looks so vulnerable and physically inept sometimes without him. Just a shame it is too late now.

Just shows how fickle people are. I remember people claiming he is better than Willian. People love to live in the spur of the moment. As soon as Willian drops off a bit, your going to get ridiculous comments again.

Been an unused sub for their last 3 league games smh. Not good at all and not what I expected. Was expecting him to show what he is really about. Interesting to see where he is playing next season.

How many easy goals he lets in that are driven in low is ridiculous on another level. DDG in goal for us and this game is probably 0-0. This is not just a one off game too. He lets in low-driven goals way too easily. Tonight, Van Aanholt's goal on Saturday. This has been happening past few seasons. Top keeper but his technical ability and being beaten with low driven efforts and nutmegs need to improve.
