I agree with Polo7. Also flat track bullying was never the problem with Matic as we saw the last three seasons and today. He always does well when the other team doesn't commit many players forward. But as soon as the opposition has decent midfielders who pass the ball around he is chasing shadows all day long and he simply doesn't possess the stamina and physicality to do anything about it.

So what? Morata put in a worldclass performance yesterday and people are crying for Lukaku yet again.
-
Injured until October.
-
Don. Bossed the midfield again and that itself is an achievement considering he basically has to run for two players.
-
I am not usually the one who slates Cahill at ever opportunity, but his red card could be a blessing in disguise as Conte has to start Christensen and/or Rudiger in the next three games.
-
So stupid from, what an idiot. We were on the front foot and could have even drew the game, but he makes this silly tackle.
-
And some people really believed he could be Costa´s successor? His first touch has been ridiculous today. The only noteworthy thing he has done since pre-season were his two goals against some Arsenal kids... He needs to grow up and has to spend less time on social media.
-
Burnley wasted time all second half even when they were 3-0 up and all we get is 4 minutes of added time. Absolutely disgrace.
-
Crouch has a better first touch than Michy...
-
We really did the right thing in letting Cech go in favour of Courtois. The former hasn't been at his best since 2014 and our Belgian is approaching the elite level of goalkeepers if he has a another great season.
-
Im sure he wants to join us, because he is ambitious. He is tired of winning community shields and wants to compete for the league title. Give Arsenal 30 million pounds and we have a good and versatile player on our hands. Moses needs competition at RWB so Chamberlain is an obvious answer.
-
Matic masterclass in the first half. Marshalling United's midfield in a way Paul Scholes can only dream of. Teaches Modric a lesson, we are doomed without him.
-
I´m glad that he upped his game against Arsenal and pretty much ran the show in the second half. Exciting partnership with Bakayoko incoming.
-
Thought he had a good game. Took the penalty nice as well. Keep it up, Gary!
-
I still don't get why Morata played as a winger..
-
He is too limited. I know Alonso isn't everyones cup of tea, but he is a superior football player than Moses. Take his freekicks into account and it's not even close.
-
We are playing too slow imo.
-
I would take him- we are lacking squad depth big time and he probably is a player that Conte likes. With Matic going out, Barkley could become an useful asset to our team, as he is powerful and has a good shoot from distance in him. Another englishmen wouldn't harm our HG quota either.
-
I know we are after Alex Sandro, but we really should sort our RWB problems out first. Moses hasn't been at his best since January and a teenager owned him on Tuesday. Chamberlain might be a good option to provide some competition on our right side..
-
Great to see Christensen and Boga in the starting XI. I hope Batshuayi can convince Conte again.

Goals aren´t everything at all and Belotti scored more domestic goals in less games by the way. And he has done that despite the fact he plays with inferior players. While Lukaku certainly would score a good amount of goals for us, Belotti would do so as well while making our team as a whole better, because he is much better on the ball and is able to link up with our attacking midfielders. And exactly this would help us so much to become more variable in our offensive plays.
-
Lukaku isn't a bad striker, but imo he is missing some talents to lead the line for a top european side. Belotti is certainly not less skilled than Lukaku. His link up play and football IQ are clearly superior to Lukakus, which means we could get the best out of the likes of Hazard, Pedro and Willian. It was frustrating enough to see Costa failing to combine with our attacking midfielders, so a player with even less technique like Lukaku would be a hard time. Not to mention that Lukaku doesn't offer Diegos great runs.
-
Doesn't bother me one bit if he joins United, if that means we go all out for Belotti.
-
Do you know if Alex Sandro is good at free kicks? Would be great if he is, because Alonsos free kicks are the best from our squad and replacing him means we would lose that asset.
