I´m actually missing Matic. He is a one-dimensional player, but he could win the ball from the opponent atleast and most of the time he was able to pick a pass.

Why does he have to take off Hazard every game, while Bakayoko stays on the pitch all the time???

He makes 2010/11 Malouda look like a workhorse and that is saying a lot.

Mahrez only looked better because he played in a worse team. He is at the same level as Pedro and Willian. If we want to go one step further we have to buy someone who is really worldclass and has the football IQ of Hazard.

I would take Sergi Roberto. Unrealistic scenario though.

Poor Mourinho. I suppose Southampton spent more than United aswell?

Our wingbacks are so terrible. Moses is a great athlete, but lacks football IQ and skills on the ball. Alonso is good at kicking the ball, but he is slow, weak and has no stamina, which means he is useless in 7 out of 10 games. And I don´t even know how someone would come to the conclusion that buying Zappacosta for 26 mio. pounds is a good idea.

Hazard isn´t a false 9. Baka has a good game so far.

In my opinion Pedro is more suited to play as a false 9. His movement is exceptional, he has a good shot in him and Hazard is better when he comes from deep.

Our wingbacks are very average, which was clear again last night. Alonso is offensively useless nowadays and Moses is a very athletic player, who lacks tactical discipline and football brain. I like them both and they have done a brilliant job last season, but if we want to take the next step as a team we have to get rid of players who lack technical qualities. Take a look at City for example, they have good footballers all over the pitch and that translates to their way of dominating other teams home and away.

People can post gifs of Moratas misses all day long- I still prefer him to Lukaku, who is having another absolute shocker against City right now..

I wish this would be true, because it would mean that Torres stint at Chelsea was only half as bad, but unfortunately it isn't. Torres isn't fit to lace Moratas shoes.

Worrying is that we are not good at flat-track bullying anymore. It was our strength last season, we lost only 7 points against the teams outside the top 5. Even when we played not so good we still won games, but not this season so far. Will be a tough race for place 2-4 until the end of the season.

Not to mention that we need some physicality when it comes to corners for example. Christensen and Azpilicueta are very good defenders, but not really strong players. Alonso would weaken us in that regard even further if he comes in for Cahill or Rudiger.

I feel that Mourinho's approach was too defensive minded in the away game, our squad was top 10 material in europe. For me there is a big difference between playing good defensively like Atletico or just park the bus and give the ball to Hazard and hope for the best. It's not like we played against a very attacking minded opponent. With an away goal we probably would have gone trough to the final.

I just came here to appreciate that now we have a manager, who isn´t afraid to play good football against a top team. In both games against Atletico we were the far better side and yesterday only our abysmal finishing prevented us from winning by atleast three goals. I know we were weaker when we played Atletico in 2014, but it´s good to see that the days when we had 7 defenders in the starting XI to paper over the managers deficits are gone.

I defended him in the last few weeks, but his laziness drives me crazy. Drinkwater needs to start the next few games.

Knowing UEFA and their fixed match drawing we will get PSG. We almost always get the hardest possible drawings.
