We should have been 3-0 up before the penalty incident, we had many good chances to score, but we let Leicester get back into the game. The last 30 minutes were pretty bad and passive, ut we still got the job done, which is the most important thing.

Good signing. Home grown, knows the league, can play alongside Kante, wants to win trophies and most importantly he is certainly an upgrade on Chalobah, so we certainly have a stronger midfield than last year. He didn´t look out of place in the CL either, so we got a really good squad option on our hands.

So after all we had a decent transfer window, altough we should have signed more players to have more cover certain positions. Alonso, who isn´t exactly known for pace, will certainly struggle with fatigue in the latter stages of this season, so I hope we might sign some LWB in january. A 3rd striker would have been useful, given we are one injury on Morata away from playing Batshuayi all the time. It´s very clear that our board sets his target on winning the league again, because we didn´t buy enough class players to keep up with the top teams in europe. Anyone expecting more than a quarter final will be disappointed. Conte isn´t happy for sure, because he clearly wanted a squad to compete for the CL. I still hope he keeps his cool and stays for a long time with us, because he is certainly the man to go forward. We can axe Marina or Michael for all I care, but the man who got us out of the 2016 trouble needs proper backing.

On a sidenote, I thought Anthony Taylor had an absolute shocker. Gave Alli freekicks all over the pitch for nothing, handed Spurs every 50/50 decision and allowed Dembele to wrestle Willian and Luiz all day long, without getting a card. Dier´s challenge on Luiz is red all day long if you consider that Cahill got sent off as well. The bar for FA referees isn´t set very high, but I think we reached a new low in the last two weeks..

No thanks. We simply don't need him. I would much rather give game time to Christensen so he can develop into one of the best CB's in the world. Also, there are other areas where we need new signings, our defence is sorted.
