Where?

Agreed. Bamford's next loan has to be to a premiership club before he gets consideration for Chelsea.

This post makes zero sense. All you've done is dismiss Chelsea with a bunch of random statements... First you say Reus, being German, is destined to play with his German teammates. Then you say he's going to Madrid(Two Germans, one who is likely out), Munich or Utd(zero germans and not really a pressing need) Arsenal a long shot(with 4 Germans...) And little chance for Chelsea based on what exactly? Is there logic attached to this post that is hidden between the lines here? Chelsea have a tremendous shot at Reus! We can pay him a King's Random(which most players and agents crave) we have the best manager in the world to help him realize his full potential, we have Champions league football guaranteed for the foreseeable future, we have a great young core to grow with, he will play loads, and also gain more exposure than most teams in the world. What reasons are you presenting for me to think this isn't something he's interested in?

So Paddy has already paid out £400k on Chelsea to win the league? after 11 games?? That's a little presumptuous in my opinion. If we get to January unscathed I believe the title is ours but there are 9 games (not including CL or COC) before that and no time to rest nagging injuries. Here's how it shapes up for Chelsea and the competition between now and January West Brom, Nov. 22nd - Stamford Bridge Sunderland, Nov 29th - Stadium of Light Tottenham, Dec. 3rd - Stamford Bridge Newcastle, Dec 6th - St. James Park(One of my least favourite fixtures, always seems to be an early kickoff!) Hull City, Dec. 13th - Stamford Bridge Stoke City, Dec 22nd - Britannia Stadium West Ham, Dec 26th - Stamford Bridge Southampton, Dec 28th - St Mary's MAN CITY Swansea, Nov. 22nd - Etihad Southampton, Nov. 29th - St. Mary's Sunderland, Dec. 3rd - Stadium of Light Everton, Dec. 6th - Etihad Leicester, Dec 13th - King Power Crystal Palace, Dec. 20th - Etihad West Brom, Dec. 26th - Hawthorns Burnley, Dec. 28th - Etihad I should consider Southampton and I might do so after the game against City on the 29th. Having said that this next period of games will be tricky to navigate. I never like playing Newcastle at St. James with that early kickoff, we always start so lethargic and have no rhythm. Same can be said for Stoke at Britannia! Its just one of those games when you look at it you can't really formulate an idea of how we're going to play and whether or not it will be successful. West Ham on boxing day is also a potential banana skin... Derby, Allardyce, Christmas, it is a worry for sure. So 4 of the next 8 games are against teams that gave us problems last year in Sunderland, West Brom and the aforementioned West Ham and Newcastle, there is potential there to slip. Conversely, City have a relatively easy run of games of this period. If they can navigate the next two fixtures, Swansea and Southampton, the only game that could cause some worry is Everton at Etihad. For the most part they should be taking maximum points in at least 5 of the next 8. Worst case scenario, Chelsea take 16pts out of a possible 24 giving us 45 points by January. If this plays out we aren't Champions yet... City, if my prognostication is correct, can take 17pts out of 24 and be on 38pts, not great but still well within striking distance! Remember in both cases this is what I envision as being the worst case, I fully expect City to get around 20pts and for Chelsea to grab more than 16. The point I'm trying to illustrate is I feel there is a greater risk for Chelsea to drop points through this period than there is for City given the fixture list. If we emerge from this period with 20 pts or more we're without a doubt in my mind gonna be champions. This is just my stupid little analysis of our next chunk of games, I fully expect Jose Mourinho, our ace in the hole, to be focussing on one game at a time, he's not the type to look too far ahead. Jose is without a doubt the best manager in the Prem and the advantage we carry over the many who trail us. He knows how to win and will have the squad will up for this period... IF the results go our way we will be Champions in May! Carefree.

Lahm injured too
-
Had a tenner on them to win... what a waste of time that was. Salah every bit as wasteful as he is with Chelsea...
-
me either, sacrasm is the worst
-
Ya you did... Or you wouldn't have made the idiotic comment about size and placement.
-
You clearly didn't know what I was referring to.
-
11th in the bundesliga? Ya right not that small
-
Oh word? where is he? I don't really fuck around with the small players on small clubs.
-
Klopp is no fool, Salah is nowhere near Dortmund level he should go join Kalou in Lille.
-
Salah can't even lace up his boots properly. Come on are you really comparing Bale, PFA young player and player of the year, to Salah? Bale would arguably be our best player if we acquired him. He is without a doubt one of the world greats and proved it the past two seasons.
-
whatever... I don't really care as much anymore. World league of 6 teams it is.
-
I've been to both too and Manchester had some fucking HOT girls at the university. Pound for pound they were better than homegrown London girls if I'm honest...
-
While I agree the fee of 19m is VERY tempting and basically the same amount we paid for Schurrle, and if you asked me then if I'd like to have Reus or Schurrle I'd emphatically say Reus, I just don't like the idea of having every world star available on one team. I really hated Real Madrid and their Galacticos run, it was so retarded and produced little given the investment. Not to say adding Reus would be anything close to that butI will say adding Reus does contribute greatly to this being a one team league. Many will argue its too early to tell but given the financial situations of many of the teams in the Prem... You know what fuck it... Grab Reus fuck em all
-
I'd take Varane. No thanks to either Bale or Reus... I never liked the idea of having a world star at every position like the Galacticos so why would I like to see my Chelsea buy a team like that?
-
Why stop at Reus then? We should be trying to buy every player that is available! I heard Bale is on the market! Wonder if Neuer would fancy working with Jose? Sanchez has started bright maybe we should get him too? Point is nobody is saying its over but the need for someone like Reus right now is overkill... Anyone who thinks it isn't clearly hasn't been paying attention. We have starters on almost any team in the world as squad players right now.
-
how was he?
-
Sounds like someone is just trying to get out of international duty! Cesc is now fully a Jose Disciple! Del Bosque on Fabregas: "His muscle seems all right but he complains and he is the best doctor."
-
That's not a very good comparison though.
-
It stems from the fact he can get to almost any area on the pitch on his own. And having witnessed him get into great areas only to put it right into the keeper one thinks if he improves his finishing he should be amongst the goals regularly.

I'm not gonna go back and forth with you guys about this, I can understand why you would want Reus he's a fantastic player for cheap. I opened by saying I know I'm likely the only one who would rather we develop our own players and if a need arises then go into the market. We're undefeated, coming off the back of a year we finished 4 pts from the title and in the semis of the Champions League. We signed Remy, Costa, Drogba Fab, Luis, Zouma, Salah and Matic. We are already a much better team than the team that came so close last year. This isn't cocky, we have the only real Premier League manager who knows how to win, that already puts so many teams at a disadvantage. What I'd like to see happen is for the market to stay competitive and reasonable. That's all.
