Should've been 3 easy points but it really looked like the midweek took something out of us. Thought Sunderland did real well, they were compact and ran us off the ball in wide areas a lot. Got nothing from Cesc, Hazard and Costa today... I doubt Hazard had one take on today.

No he's not correct. He's being Jose... What is around the corner? the capital one Cup? Sporting Lisbon? Jose says a lot of things and I do believe we will eventually lose a game this season, however I can't see it coming to Sunderland.

They say a great manager is good for 10 to15 pts gained each season, I'd say Jose is good for 20 this year! No other club in the prem have a manager capable of winning matches with their presence and tactics

you may be right... Sounds like an expensive compensation though. We'd have to likely get another ball winner in the midfield who can keep the ball, use it and win a high percentage of tackles to go next to Matic... Maybe Khedira but then there's no room for Cesc... It just doesn't fit with anything we're trying to do unfortunately.

On Saturday the goals didn't go in it wasn't about not going for it. At a point we shut it down because we had an important game on Tuesday. One could argue that the reason we scored 5 was because we conserved our energy against 10 men. You can have it both ways.
