  1. Defensively he is still poor. Gave ball away few times and is oftenly out of position. But boy that was awesome strike from Iva.
  2. 1.) No, not just because Wilshere smokes 2.) Look at results of england on euros and WCs in past few years and compare to other nations. 3.) Check what roles english players play in TOP english clubs and TOP clubs across europe and compare to other nations. 4.) Compare the attitude of top english prospects, their hype and actual success. Few examples: Sterling, Barkley, Wilshere. 5.) You point out like our academy is successful or sth. No its not. Transition from u21 on senior level fails by club and individual player every time. Last one was Terry, what 16 years ago? Academy is successful only when players play for original or other top club. Cant say that for our academy. There are clear problems with english youth program, talents attitude etc. Another example is mceachran who got lost due to his attitude and how club handled him. England wasnt as successful in international level, but at least there were club performers. Ferdinand, Terry, Gerrard, Lamps, Scholes etc. And the future lies in Wilshere, Lallana, Henderson because there are no better talents which is ridiculous. For a country that has like 50m people and oldest FA, that should be solved years ago but it only gets worse. Instead of taking hard hand and strict discipline like they do in germany, or technical skill in spain, england is making brilliant success on making egos who dont give two fucks. Failing to justify fees, hypes and potentials, performing poorly in int competitions, plus they lost every role in non UK top clubs, while quickly losing it in england top clubs. Fact is that out of all those millions of youth talents, they only become good enough for middtable english clubs lies either on realy shit mentality, youth infrastructure or both. I will probably get lot of stick from some english members here but its how it is. Spain and Germany are miles ahead, France is getting there to, aswell some individual s.a. countries. Italy would be too if not for their financial problems. Holland, Belgium, etc. We will soon run out of our english back bone. Lamps, Cole gone, Terry soon. And the fact that we cant get anyone is because other club talents/seniors they are simply shit, while academy players never get proper run-in here. Thats one big fucking problem if you ask me.
  3. Mou time to break some negative records he has with chelsea. Ill be happy with any kind of win, althrough a dominant performance after quite poor last four games will be nice. I expect high scoring weekend; che-avi, liv-eve, ars-spurs; all three games will probably end with all teams scoring at least one goal.
  4. This is why english football gets nowhere. Because these bitches prefer to enjoy than work little harder. They have talent but dont use it.Gerrard or Lamps (or whoever) worked harder and harder to succeed. It wasnt just talent. Nowdays english boys mentality is completely different (well not just english but general) and its seen in football. Many who had poor lives (like south american players) enjoy more succees because they went through shit and never gave up. Kids nowdays already have nearly everything and its bad for their development. But you know, Wilshere now has all money in the world. Why would he train if he can enjoy. Not that I would give any fuck about that dipshit but english football needs revoltion. Its unbelievable how far are Spain, germany, france, south america,... When you look; english players dont have ANY role in non english clubs, but they also have smaller role in top english clubs every year which is worrying. And its not just football. Its global. Each generation gets weirder and weirder. But its kinda ironic because even I live partly responsibility-free life. Realy dont give shit about many things as long as I keep my friends, family, cash, college, hobbies balanced.
  5. I remember that night. Didnt have exam next day, but presentation in history. And we watched game, then got wasted, in morning straight to school and you can imagine how shit I looked and sounded when talking about crusade wars that I couldnt give two fucks about that day. Teacher only gave me positive because I was apparently funny and kept knocking on table for some reason LOL.It was one of those best times you wont ever forget.
  6. Kagawa is shadow of himself nowdays.
  7. So he got award for best pl player of month january?
  8. Bayern are red Schalke are blue Dortmund are going To bundesliga 2
  9. What a twist. Salah will wear #74 at fiorentina in honour of victims.
  10. What is going on with BVB realy? Surely they cant be THE WORST in germany... And Reus, Hummels were poor again.
  11. Well when did we sign last english player? Was it Cahill in jan 2012? Thats 3 years since we brought home player and its terrible. As much players like Barkley will cost a fortune and might never make it here, we will NEED to buy few of them to fill homegrown quota, but also to have some english blood here. It would be sad not to have any of them even if we win all kind of titles. While Ox and Sterling look like best among young players, they will never be sold to us. Then we have Stones who I believe wouldnt get in our team anytime soon. Zouma is already youngster to play here. Barkley or Prowse would add some midfield creativity and would fit bench well, but not much more than that unless they seriously improve. But not sure if its worth 30m for another bench player. Clyne IMO is best choice we can buy atm and would fill well to replace aging Iva. But even Clyne who is good player, will have to step big time to be starter here. All said, we will have to spend 30m on english player or two, and even if they rot on bench for rest of their career.
  12. And even if he was...ukrainian league cannot be compared to pl. Look at mkhitaryan. Rippin that league with 25 goals, but was realy poor for bvb. Sometimes player has 0 goals, but different league suits him and he scores alot there or vice versa. The only bad thing is that we still dont have natural finisher besides Costa in 11. For example Bayern has Robben/Muller and Real has Ronaldo. Right now we might have best dribbling duo in world (should Cuadrado succeed), but who will take those chances regulary? Costa alone wont be enough IMO. And when opponents close down, we will have to perform quick and efficient actions, while Hazard and Cuadrado might have all the flair in the world, but sometimes a penetrating shot is more efficient and we dont have a player who can score from outside, even Costa cant. Cuadrado scored some crackers, but lets see how he does here first. That said, I cant wait to see Cuadrado play for us, and villa away is perfect match for him. Lets see how they cope against dribbler on each wing.
  13. Too bad Hutchinson had his injury problems. I am certain he would be starter now if he wasnt injured all the time. He looked so promising in 2010.
  14. Saw this on FB, not bad if true. We now have two brilliant dribblers, one on each side.
  15. He is defo worth more than 10m. Somehow I feel he will have last laugh. Could easily get in england eleven and earn big move with good performances at Soton. Realy great lad, never complained, worked hard and its normal he wanted to play more. He deserves to play regular football for Soton and maybe, just maybe one day he comes back because Luis wont be here forever. Good luck Ryan and thanks for that magnificent CL performance
  16. Ok, lets just splash another xxmio on Oscar replacement and hope he wont be as inconsistent. As far as I know we are still first in PL, Oscar is improving and I dont see real need for replacement. Some players need more time some less. What is clear is that Oscar suits Mou system perfectly and in few years he can be realy realy good. Oscar last season, he had good first half, terrible second. This year, he will probably perform similar through whole season. Next season even better etc. And if you are pointing at his performances vs better teams where he wasnt exactly brilliant, then maybe we should look for Cesc replacement because he was average (wont say crap) in most big games too. The main problem with Oscar is that he needs time. But fans here want instant success and its easy to say sell oscar buy koke or whoever. I would give Oscar at least next season and then we will see. In dream world I would love to see Pogba-Matic-Koke as our midifield, but we have Oscar and thats reality. And I love Zouma development but you people are getting ahead of yourselves. He is promising but lets see how he does till end of season and then talk. One two bad games and people will say he is crap.
  17. I wont be surprised if by tomorrow evening Shurrle and Salah will still be here and Cuadrado transfer will be canceled...
  18. He is young. Thats all. Give him few years and we will have one of best midfielders in the world. Consistency, experience and his influence in games will grow with each year. Only thing he has to do is get some more muscle and thats it. Have some faith.
  19. Sure its difficult sometimes, but his heading accuracy is weird. Im not saying he should head it straight to team mate, but he can head it at least in certain way. Not always, but usualy he has time and height. Usualy big guys head the ball away from danger, not right into it.
  20. The only thing we 'suck' at this year is keeping the lead. We were leading twice vs city, once vs united, once vs liverpool (ccup) and once vs spurs. And vs bradford but that wasnt big game. We have not won single of those games, if we cant handle to score and keep that lead, we have to change the tactics in future. Mou said its better to lose fighting, than win or draw with poor game. But he is doing exact opposite. As long we will be winning long term its OK though.
  21. He is fucking beast in defending and ball repossesion, aerial duels and tackling, but he realy needs to be more concentrated in game. He is our holding midfielder and this is key position in game. When he gets the ball, everyone goes forward, and if he loses it, it can lead to extremely dangerous counter attack. He needs to be more reliable when in possession, he makes some wrong passes and players get quickly behind him. Also, he wins most of headers, but he heads the ball very randomly IMO, sometimes straight to opponent who can create fast attack. That said, beast of midfielder.
