  1. He was included in Pool squad for pre season tour.
  2. I hope he wont have same effect like Ballack did for us. But Ballack was year younger, in MUCH better shape and with huge desire to win titles. Schweini won everything and all, thats the difference. But none the less, he is professional and one of those who gives absolute 100% in most games.
  3. I think at first, he only didnt want to extend contract, not leave as soon as possible. Extended contract would tie him to liverpool for long time, they would demand like 100m and he would be stuck there. But the response from fans and liverpool board was what he didnt expect. He feels unwanted and wants to leave. Simple. Its Liverpool and media that cant handle he doesnt want to stay at club. His agent even said its not about money but about project.
  4. Pogba and his price tag 80m in newspapers is always in euros...he would cost around 57m pounds. I guess some take all transfers to be in pounds, but apart from Uk all transfers are in euros...it can get confusing at times. Sterling would cost us 69m euros, not that far from what juve wants for Pogba.
  5. If we keep all the current players, one more will be enough yes. But didnt he say somewhere he will sign one defender, one midfielder and one striker? But as we know Mou, he could do anything.
  6. Mikel is decent at best, while Ramires can be realy good at times, so its not end of world if we stay that way. But we should target another midfielder regardless; someone who can replace Cesc if required without completely killing our creativity in midfield. Plus there is RLC who might have some role here, but Mou should never be trusted about that, besides Rlc has long way to go. He is in first team mostly because Mou trusts him, not because he would be mentaly/technicaly/tacticaly /physicaly ready.
  7. There were rumours that Roman will pay for stadium out of his own pocket, and if we will actualy struggle on market, he sure will, so I wouldnt worry. Besides its 11th july, plenty of time to bring players, althrough we should do it before going on tour.
  8. Yeah I would expect Mou to bring his players before going on preseason tour, so honestly I wont be surprised if we sign Aranguiz, sterling or someone completely out of blue in coming week or two.
  9. Im sure we would go that way in some games, but I would bring Scheiderlin more to release Matic/Cesc from too much games, rather than regular. But obviously if he performed excellent, that would be a no brainer.
  10. This game would be alot more special last summer when they still had Henry and we had Drogba. Would be great to see these two players play against each other one last time. Its will be 50 days without single chelsea game, but soon we play Barca, PSG, Arsenal in almost one week, cant wait :blue scalf:
  11. GK: Tibo, Begovic, Jamal? DEF: Terry, Cahill, Iva, Azpi, Zouma, Luis MID: Matic, Cesc, Ramires, Mikel, RLC AM: Willian, Hazard, Oscar, Cuadrado, Traore? ST: Costa, Falcao, Remy That makes 19 outfield players, we need to bring another 1 and possibly more if Luis/Mikel/Ramires/Traore/Remy/Zouma/Oscar wont be here next season. We had some problems with squad depth (and more with quality of bench) last season, we should address that if we are not looking to improve our first 11.
  12. New improved contract for Obi Mikel!
  13. I would prefer him over Aranguiz tbh, even if for twice the money. More reliable on ball, less of a loose cannon and already established in PL. But he probably doesnt want to sit on bench...
  14. It was Bild that reported it first right? They were first on with Lewa, Pep and Gotze stories back then, so this is most likely done deal too.
  15. Bringing new players even if top ones means little. At least when you have Pellegrini as your manager. City right now has more problems than solutions. Their ageing squad is one. Their key players in Yaya and Kompany have become more liability than not. Even if they bring Pogba/Kevin/Sterling, I wouldnt worry that much. But I would if Kompany, Yaya get back to their best, and Mangala improves alot. United I think will come back sooner than later, but next season, they wont be better than us. Its not so much if they bring one or two world class players, because they need their team to click first, catch rhytm and their current team, plus add few new players like Darmian, Schweini etc, it will take some time to fit in. Honestly, if Arsenal keeps this team, they need maybe just one midfielder or striker and they will be most dangerous for us. both manchesters are in big transitions, and it took us from 2010 to 2013 to actualy make a decent team and two more years to complete it. And we are not done yet. We on other hand have team that has been playing together for quite some time now, but its not old at all. People usualy dont see we have, apart from Terry and Iva, rest of the squad that still has 3-4 years of top football at least. Some like Eden, Azpi, Oscar, Tibo even more.
  16. Haha Pep is continuing to dissasemble bayern. Sold Kroos, put germany best talent Gotze on bench. Now selling one of their key players of last few years in Schweini. Im sure neither of these three things would happen if Heynckess was still in charge. Bayern was german. Pep turned it into tiki taka international team, prefering Thiago over Kroos, sticking Lahm into midfield, couldnt bring the best of either of bayern players. Not sure what were they thinking tbh. Pep has specific style, philosophy, a neutral team like City is where he would do great job. But Bayern already had their own style, phylosophy and Pep's one is completely different,...no wonder some players prefer to leave.
  17. Well the lack of respect goes from both ways. He didnt want to extend, so what? His decision. Liverpool then made public he refused 100k and made him look like moneygrabbing cunt. The fans shown no respect either, no wonder Sterling and his agent said he wont extend for any kind of money. And as you said, what if that happend here. It wouldnt. If he told Mou he wants to leave, we would arrange for best possible fee and let him go. But pool, they are nuts. Cant accept that their golden boy wants to leave and are playing the hardball with every club. Plus if they keep him but not play him, that just shows further how much personal they took the whole thing. It would satisfy their personal anger, but wouldnt solve anything on football level. They had no money, no player He might or might not want to leave for money, but blame for this media exposure is on both sides, Sterling and liverpool. Liverpool is nowdays selling club ala Valencia, but they act like biggest idiots when their player wants to leave in recent years like Suarez or now Sterling.
  18. Falcao was great and all. But he aint anymore. Best example is that at the moment, his form matches the one of Chelsea Torres. Yes he has a little hope to get back in form, but I doubt that, I very doubt that. Also people back then were cheering to sign Falcao, best striker in the world. What we got now is not half the player he was back then and its normal the opinions have turned. And from my point its ok, bring Falcao its just a loan. But dont play him just because he is big name and dont favorize him ahead of Remy, becuase the later had better year, scoring some vital goals from bench, something Falcao didnt do for United or Colombia. Every career goes up and down. I think we signed Falcao couple year too late, like Torres and Sheva.
  19. There are no decent prices. Monaco just paid Lille 14m for Adama Traore, age 20, who was MVP of world cup U20, but has only ONE! professional season in his career so far. All decent players get sold for at least 20m. There will be no world class talent available for decent price, unless that guy is on last year contract or sth. And you cant wait 5 years to catch such player. Im sure there are players Mourinho likes alot. We should go all the way to get them.
  20. Liverpool happy to keep Raheem Sterling on £35k a week for two years rather than compromise on price. (Chris Bascombe) Is there any truth to that? Scenes if true. But it would be fantastic for us. If he develops, he could join for free. We would slap nice paycheck for him tho, but Im sure he would prefer London anyway.
  21. Carassco to atletico is now official.
  22. Mou can make mistakes too. He bets on Falcao too much. But it was known. Falcao wont come here to be our third choice. He is still big name. He plays ahead of Jackson and Bacca in nt who are both better strikers nowdays. If Remy indeed leaves, I expect Falcao to do his job, but he wont. He is shit. You cant have great transfer window every year I guess.
  23. My bet is on USA here. They managed to get some very nice results over past few months.
  24. Would be hilarious to see City faces if they end up with Delph and us with Sterling...
