  1. Skill wise and talent wise, Isco is quite ahead of James or Koke, but IMo those two make team more balanced, think they are further in their development and how to efficiently help the team. Now dont take me for granted, because I didnt watch all real games, but couldnt shake the feeling that Isco had much less effect in bigger games than he did in smaller. Yes indeed Isco was playing with James for certain games and did well, but when he replaced James (during injury), Real wasnt the same. Sure rest of team slowly fell apart, but the dowhnhill started when Modric and James got injured.
  2. Very happy Chille won, but Argentina seriously needs a better coach. Wonder what would happen if someone like Simeone got hands on this team. They would probably have WC and Copa by now. Aguero, Messi, Tevez, Di Maria alone should provide enough scoring power, then you have Masch, Otamendi, Zabaleta, Garay who are all very good players. While I dont give fuck what happens to argentina, it would be quite sad not to see this generation managed by a good coach. Its probably too late tho, Masch, Tevez, Zabaleta will be way past their peak on next WC.
  3. Their key player is still Modric. When that engine starts running, they can be quite brilliant. And first choice in attack were Benz, Cr, James, Bale. They won like 20 games in row, scored shitload of goals. Once Modric got injured, and eventualy James, they werent half the team. Isco wasnt anything special. He was better than Bale during that period, but when everyone is fit, James, Bale, Modric, CR and Benz performed alot better. Isco is flashy player, but not someone who will actualy do his work to make team win. That said, their defense let them down. I knew they cant compete with Kroos-Modric in pivot for whole season, so bringing Vidal and selling Isco actualy makes sense for them. They could either play last year first 11 when fully fit or bring in Vidal in 4:3:3 for more balanced approach. But I doubt Vidal will go there, considering he probably wouldnt be a regular starter, however you never know with Perez and Marotta said several times Real will go after Vidal, but they didnt got any offers yet. So I guess they are expecting a bid and if it will be good one, they might accept.
  4. I believe spanish sport started the story...typical bullshit. As I mentioned Casemiro story, he wont be sent on loan in first place (unless RM are idiots), so the whole story is made up. This is what I was talking bout; ''Real Madrid have exercised an option to take midfielder Casemiro back from Porto, in a complex deal reported to have cost the Liga giants around €7.5 million. Casemiro, 23, joined Porto in a loan move last summer, with the initial deal reportedly including a clause for the Portuguese club to make the move permanent this summer by paying €15 million. After the now Brazil international had impressed hugely as his new side reached the Champions League quarterfinals and finished second in the Liga Sagres, that option was last week exercised with Porto saying they hoped Casemiro would now be their player outright. The deal however also included another clause under which Madrid could themselves keep Casemiro on their books -- reportedly by rejecting the €15 million fee and themselves paying €7.5 million to the Liga Sagres side.'' So Real PAID 7,5 mio for their OWN player they sent on LOAN. Thats why no fucking hell will they send him on loan again, unless thats again one of several Perez brainfarts...Its just shit story, shit journalism, and just shows how clueless they are by saying Casemiro will go on loan...Sport makes up bullshit stories every day, they are worse than Daily Mail etc...
  5. So people want signings, top signings, because apparently ''everyone'' is improving their squads, and we should do our bussines quickly, but then again we should wait till better players come around... Maybe people should also take into account, that right now Sterling and Arda are available. Both could end in City and Barca. Both might be the best choices of this window for RW because hell no will Reus, Bale move this summer. So sometimes its better to act quickly, instead of wait for something ''better'' but meanwhile every better player gets sold and you end up with Raul Meireles.
  6. Yeah he was among second tier bunch of talents (first tier I would consider Gotze, Hazard, Isco etc back then). Was very promising, but it was clear he wont get ahead of Robbery. However the long sit on bench had poor efect on him. He isnt bad player nowdays, but he is not pushing himself, but just stays as he is. Quite bad mentality tbh. Maybe a different, good coach would do a world of favour for him, but I wouldnt bring him here. Too much gamble, if we were in winter we brought Matic, it would be ok, but in between we tried Cuadrado, Salah, even Schurrle etc, it didnt realy work, so now I would prefere a more stable player there.
  7. I like Sterling, in fact he COULD develop in realy fantastic player, but IMO he is not what we need right now. Long term yes and with Mou, it could and probably would work, but its not guarantee. While I highly rate Mou, he is not specialist for young players. He did great with few players like Varane, but he is not magician in this. He signed Joe Cole who was pretty much in similar situation; talent wise and potential like Sterling is now, but it didnt work well. Not bad, but certainly not as people expected. IMO Mourinho is alot better with experienced players, he gives them mental boost, bite, desire to show it and those players return him 120 percent of it. They have the consistency, experience, something Mourinho knows how to use to improve these players. Sure its not guarantee either, but Mou has alot better record with older players, on peak or even past it than young talents. For example, our current team was poor against PSG. Quite a few players kinda dissapointed. Maybe they dont have enough experience to do it, and we need to bring players that are reliable. One knows how good talent Sterling is, but can he be trusted to lead us, push us forward in key CL game? I dont think so. Arda for example, or any similar player, might not be as flashy, young as Sterling, but you know he will give 110 percent for the team, he will die on that pitch and wont give up till final whistle. Sometimes this fighting spirit inspires other players in great way, alot more than some youngster trying to prove himself with little dribbles. I would be happy with either, Turan, Sterling or someone similar, but as much I know football, Chelsea and Mou, experienced top player would do us alot more good than young talented player for next two seasons. Unless our club goal is to keep with PL titles and when team grows we push for CL aswell. But I think Mou will go hard to win CL next season or at least get into finals. Honestly for that challenge, my pick would be Turan (or similar skill, experience wise player) ahead of Sterling (or any similar talent).
  8. Two more pages in couple hours...i thought we made a formal bid or sth...instead i find shitload of posts how many dribbles and goals sterling made in comparison to other players...ffs its not everyhing about stats. Ronaldo is best out and out scorer you can find and what did real achieve? One CL that was lucky and one laliga in six seasons. Stats mean shit if there is no proper team balance. Having another 20 y.o. kid with chicken attitude wont improve us. Maybe in five years when he grows up.
  9. Loan Casemiro out? Lol are they completely nuts? As has been reported; Rm loaned Casemiro to porto with option to buy. Porto triggered option and paid something to RM. But Rm decied to get Casemiro back, so they had to pay porto 13m or sth! For a player they loaned out just because porto triggered option to buy And now you telling me Rm will ship him out again? That rm board is clueless as fuck lol
  10. So you are against Turan but would take Shaqiri? mate you even watch football? When I tell you inter prefers Salah over Shaq, that should ring bells. I have heard enough anyway...
  11. How is Baba overrated...Rodriguez is better sure, but no one is denying that. Meanwhile, you want Sterling over Turan, where its pretty clear that Sterling is overrated asfuck.
  12. Even if he tells pool thathe wants only us, they wont accept it. We are ready to offer only up to 40m, while city is prepared to give full price of 50m. If Sterling wants us, liverpool will make ultimatum; either city or stay at pool. And he will probably accept city offer eventualy. What chelsea is doing is absolutely right tho; sterling is not worth 50m and if he wants to join us, he shouldnt be thrown in money. And while he is good talent, I realy dont see how will he improve us in CL games tbh. Maybe in 5 years when he develops himself. Dont forget we have amazing player in hazard, but in key CL games last two seasons, it was other experienced players who actualy gave us results, while hazard was quite poor aside his dribbling ability. Think we need leaders, those who will push team forward, not another young player who will need to develop...we have young players in development in Oscar, hazard, zouma, Courtois, Azpi to some extent.
  13. Since Oscar disscussion is in every other damn topic, this one should disscuss all the general talk about everything. It would make perfect TC sense.
  14. Prety sure Mou is doing this not because he would want or need Falcao, but it sweetens up Mendes for whoever Mourinho is realy after.
  15. FFP. Freakin Fucking Piss. In another news, Pogba, Sterling and KDB welcome to City.
  16. Having no preseason and proper training is like playing injured. It catches you up sooner or later.
  17. Im sure there are bigger numbers behind this loan. Not just the week wages (who I believe are still astronomical), the loan fee we paid to monaco, extras for trophies we win while Jorge Mendes will probably get another million for each goal Falcao scores Plus if the move actualy works out, we can buy him out for something like 40m or whatever was quoted. He will be fucking 30 by then
  18. Not sure from when these quotes are, either today/recent days or from before, but Arda said he likes watching barca and his favourite idol is Iniesta. Also him saying he doesnt want to run as much anymore (later he denied that because he was not happy this was leaked to press) explains why he might be closer to barca than us. He might admire us, all that looking for london house and costa saying he would like him here say we were interested if true, but imo this is what happened; Turan was keen on barca, things were agreed, and he planned to announce it today. But barca decided to wait till elections and arda's agent didnt announce anything today. Otherway, I dont see why his agent didnt announce the new club yet. If it was us, he could announce it. Unless his agent was bsing about "you will know new club in next 4 days"...or minor things have to be done. Anyway Barca is seriously interested in him and will get him if Bartomeu wins...Turans first choice is probably barca and we will look stupid if he ends up here just because bartomeu didnt win. But Im just guessing...
  19. He is saying that if he wins the elections he will try to sign him, something that is known for a while. That confirms tho, that we have not made any deal for him I guess. He was supposed to be signed today for barca, but they stopped it, waiting till elections. So if Bartomeu wins, he will go to barca. Most probably Pogba was agreed to, but they just wait who will win laporte or bartomeu...then they will sign either Pogba or Turan. At least thats what the paper says. Kinda sucks, Arda would be best option for RW/#10 this summer IMO. People here will only realise that when Arda will perform for barca very well and they will see what we missed....meh Cuadrado to the rescue.
  20. Anybody still waiting for the announcment from his agent? Absolutely nothing is reliable anymore... Anyway, latest is that he agreed to move to barca, with going to gala on loan till january. But barcelona frozen all transfer activity till their presidental elections.
  21. You dont like Arda do you? Thats ok with me, just dont ever let Costa know that... "It would be fantastic [to play alongside Arda again]," Costa told Bugun. "Arda makes everything so much easier out on the pitch. Arda, Filipe and I function perfectly. "Arda is such a great person. He invited us to eat at his house many times; I really liked his kebab. The whole team would go round to his house for dinner"
  22. Only saw some youtube videos and probably few times against juve, but he seems great player. Hardworking, top tackler, runner, but with amazing ball skills. I knew Benatia very well when he was playing for udinese (back then when Handanovic, our national team gk was also there and I watched all udine games). And I knew Benatia was great, but didnt get enough recognition. Any top team, he would be beast there. Once in Roma, everyone knew him. I guess Allan will be the same. Napoli seems its club he is moving to and in season or two, few NT games on top and next thing you see, they will want 50m for him...
  23. If he plays as much as Luis, he should be happy indeed. For now. But I hope if we do sign him, Mou wont play Iva-Azpi every fucking game till they collapse just because he doesnt trust young players, but give Baba some bigger games too like he did do Zouma. Zouma started 7 PL games, 3 in CL, another 9 from bench and 7 cup games. Nearly 1000min without cup games. That is good deal for young talent. Salah played little above 90min and another 3 cup games till january, which is pretty shit.
  24. Tell me honestly, who should we sign then? I would love one world class player ahead of 3-4 good ones. But realisticly, there is no one available. Turan, Schweini, Ramos if they want to leave, Vidal if juve is ready to sell and Pogba if you are ready to cash 80m+ are only ones.
  25. Pros: he will balance our attack, maybe even midfield. Can hold the ball, link well. Drops deep to collect the ball and then goes forward (much like Hazard). Very versatile. Can play on either wing, middle, maybe even deeper. But playing on wing, doesnt make him typical winger. He can cross, widen the play, but isnt your typical Bale/Ronaldo to stay there. He moves alot in attacking area and midfield. Very hardworking, literaly fights for every ball. He uses his intelligence, ball control to make up for lack of pace. Generaly does realy well in big games. Doesnt score or assist much, but has a knack to do that in key games (chelsea, real, juve,...). Consistent, reliable. Tacticaly perfect Mou player. Works his ass off, but still very creative in final third. Cons: Gets tired quite soon, almost never finished 90min. Has some fitness issues. Pace is his biggest problem. He is quite agressive. Picks yellow on regular basis. But apart from his incident with throwing boot at linesaman, he didnt do stupid shit. He gets cards for either bad tackles or arguing with ref. Very poor stat record, doesnt score or assist much. He has character, spirit of warrior. If he shows same passion like in Atletico, fans will LOVE him. Like they love Costa. Similar players are Hazard, Ribery, but Arda has less pace. To some extent even Iniesta, but obviously not as good. He realy is a leader, captain of turkey, but also the one that pulled strings for atletico for all these years. We lack leaders in team, and probably his leadership, experience elevate him above Willian, Oscar more than his football abilities alone.
