it is true but zolayes was one of those core chelsea fans.some of us like me, sloth, capri etc are the new age chelsea fans who started watchin football (hardcore) from 2004-2005 or something but zolayes was one of the few who knew about the old chelsea. that's why i feel he is a big loss
-
its not like the place will be better once he returns but seriously, cant believe members have left in recent weeks due to disagreements over forum policy
-
without you, the place fell apart
-
He hasn't left. He is still lurking around because i saw that he made a post on some thread which had derailed - "and yet this thread doesn't get locked".
-
ivanovic, at cb, has not done as well as he has played at RB. there is no shoving aside but an accurate depiction of the situation by SeB. ivanovic should be first choice RB and a 4th choice CB. he should play CB only if it's ABSOLUTELY needed because we have 3 perfectly good centrebacks
-
perfect back up to the midfielders. good right foot on him as well
-
also zolayes was unimpressed by the "thread-locking" business. i quite agree with his views but wouldn't go as far as quitting the forum
-
i missed few of our cup games due to the broadcasters deciding to air manchester united vs crystal palace instead. otherwise, all games
-
to be fAir, she doesn't seem to be a bimbo. seems a proper matured woman. dont think hazard is bad on a personal level relevant factor is his lack of english, malouda to be kept as translator?
-
he is second choice striker now. last season, torres got 49 games as second choice. no reason why sturridge should leave if he'll get close to 50 games due to our fixtures next season
-
A mikel-fellaini partnership is too negative. we need forward thinking midfield partnership to break down smaller teams. lampard-cabaye, lampard-ramires etc
-
don't see why we have to sell him though. if we do sell him, we are left with only 1 genuine striker and 1 lukaku. should hold on to him in case porto dont budge on hulk
-
essien, mikel, meireles, romeu (even lampard and ramires to an extent) can play CDM. no need for fellaini. the thing is none of the CDM's are creative. maybe lampard is better than the rest of them but we need a real creative source deep in our system. cabaye or moutinho is required not fellaini. as good as fellaini is defensively, we dont need him
-
silly to put penalties as a pro on cavani's pros and cons. we have Luiz, Lampard, Cole. end of discussion
-
not what we need atm. he is more of the direct attacking type. not the schemer we require
-
surprised swansea managed to get him
-
the daily mirror is reporting a 6m fee from Chelsea. that would be brilliant imo. debuchy can go up and down the right flank all day. his tracking back is still a little suspect because yesterday against ukraine, he got an unnecessary yellow for barging in on the attacker from behind because he was out of position. not sure if this is a weakness but overall he is sound in defence and offence. with debuchy and a CM, our team will actually look top class for a change.
-
but given isn't npower championship quality
-
i feel you are highly biased to homegrown players. for the sheer number of finals/semifinals he has won by himself, he deserves to be in the discussion for greatest chelsea striker anyway, torres to start the season as our primary forward with sturridge and lukaku on hand if needed.. hulk to assume ST role if torres rots again
-
i have seen both hulk and adam johnson enough to know hulk should be our signing between those. let's forget the fact that i am completely against signing another winger, if it came down to hulk or johnson/jarvis, i would definitely pick hulk. we are moving forward as a club and we have to use this champions league winners tag to attract TOP quality talent. adam johnson is a big risk at Chelsea and i think he will be nothing more than a rotation option. having 2-3 rotation options is not better than having 1 quality player.. hulk has the power especially over johnson. in the premier league, johnson may skin stephen ward but will come a cropper against an evra. hulk will be a better fit given that he will provide a backup to fernando if he misfires. trusting sturridge and lukaku to come good at ST is a bit risky
-
Ronaldinho? He was brilliant. no one incorporated skill moves into real gameplay and still turned out to be world class. he was the sole reason for barca dominance pre-messi. the team was nowhere near him then
-
now the thing is, does rdm have an attacking philosophy that he will implement next season? because surely, the 4-2-3-1 counter will not work even with Hazard on the wing imo. we will find it hard to break down mid table opponents due to the limited number of players attacking in that formation. we should have a dynamic formation so that mata has more people to pick out. if rdm can implement a new formation, then i think he has a shot of cementing the managerial position.
-
Awaiting validation on this but i heard few spaniards saying he is more combative than creative?
-
yes but what we need is an attacking option for mata or the DLP to pick out. having only 4 players attacking and 6 players back defending wont work. we have to be dynamic , so i hope we have cabaye and ramires in the CM positions. ramires can give us a good option in attack and has the pace and stamina to get back to defend. he will be our yaya toure

Moyes is a brilliant manager and sadly, i think he will consider spurs as a good option to elevate his career, more out of the fact that he has spent such a long time at everton than anything else
