  1. bloody hell http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/articles/346650/20120530/chelsea-news-guardiola-abramovich-meeting-falcao-transfer.htm http://www.thesun.co...k-business.html
  2. di Matteo deserves it. he has shown a very attacking philosophy - mk dons and west brom - and more importantly he has a connection with the players while at the same time, he knows that it is time for change. abramovich may be calling the shots on the transfers but di matteo has dropped essien completely, used the seniors lesser as the season entered the business end and gave a chance to bertrand, lukaku. he is definitely the man
  3. ^we are spending on the RB. now that bosingwa's gone. but all this depends on di matteo's(?) formation for next season. will he continue with the 4-2-3-1? also, will ramires be our new yaya toure? mikel doesn't cut it as a Box2Box midfielder. he's more of an anchor man. so given that mata was not having enough options to pass to and Lampard working as a deep lying playmaker now, ramires as a box to box alongside lampard or mikel would be a master-stroke in the current formation. don't think having two lines of four players spread across the field in our own half will work next season edit: although he has been better on the wings than at CM
  4. I would sign one of Hulk or Hazard and if it came down to it, i would choose hulk over hazard but seeing as we are set to sign hazard, i dont think hulk is necessary any more. FFP is coming and we have to keep an eye on our finances. also, ramires, sturridge kdb and marin will be perfectly good enough wing options not to mention Lucas Piazon who may play in the carling cup or get the chance to play with the big boys if there is an injury crisis. But i do worry that if torres doesn't start scoring early in the season, he will be under a lot of pressure and that way hulk would be a good signing because he can give us depth in the ST role. Lukaku is not anywhere near ready to play consistently but I think Sturridge at ST is worth a shout. He is fast, and has a good left foot on him and has shown at Bolton that he is a good poacher
  5. he isn't useless against the smaller teams, mate. also, we can save a lot more by not buying hulk anyday. ramires and sturridge on the right is enough if we are looking to save cash but if we do sign hulk then it should be essien malouda in the exit list ahead of ramires
  6. he is a real asset in the games against teams around us in the table. actually 'real asset' is an understatement. against city or united, it will be ramires who will be more useful than hazard
  7. i was merely saying we dont sell him and yeah, i think against the smaller teams it will be sturridge or hulk(?) on the right
  8. nah mate. as u saw, he is crucial to our counter game against big teams. he was sorely missed in the final and will be more than useful against attacking opponents because he has the pace to attack and the stamina to get back and cover as well
  9. Wait for a month. Hulk will be ST, Ramires will be RW and torres will be on the bench
  10. is he rigid with the Left wing position? or can he play right or centre attacking mid as well?
  11. is the site stripped down to the essentials or something? because the ex-blues sections etc are not there atm
  12. nah. he is going to liverpool. major troll
  13. ^i thought his tweet confirmed it. he is signing for the champions league winner
  14. HAZARD UPDATE: He's gone to the toilet
  15. a happy ending depends on where you stop the story and i don't think the story's over yet
  16. Chelsea dint win the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE by spending money, idiot. even though we spent so much, the players who started the final? we dint spend much on bertrand, cole, cahill, cech, kalou and they put in a good shift in the final. sriously, u better read your comments before u post them.
  17. YouMad? i understand your bitterness. most neutrals probably feel that chelsea is some hotshot big club in a posh area of london who just win by spending money and dont deserve the ucl but here's the truth fr u. chelsea dint win the Champions League by spending money. they won it by sheer character. u can't buy pride, resolve , never-say-die attitude. we didn't have the most attacking team in the champions league but what we did have was a group of players who were ultimately determined to win the ucl more than anything else. so before posting your giant wad of codswallop, just take a moment to think about this. Chelsea >>>>>Celtic
  18. Bitch please. you wouldn't win a single title with teams like arsenal, manu, manc, spurs in the league
  19. basically, your just blurting out whatever comes to mind without any substance or logic. just because chelsea have a global fan base doesn't mean the fans are plastic.even u r not a proper fan then - because u dont live in england. are u even listening to yourself?
  20. We have a unique advantage there next season. if we sign flair players and start playing attacking football we will be one of the most versatile teams in europe because we have the players to dig out results as well
  21. Bitches Please. No song will ever be Better than my profile music
  22. cant believe di matteo hasn't been offered the job. it should be him next season now that JM and PG are no longer an option. I dont want to see Rafa Benitez or someone pick up from where AVB left offalso, di matteo should be kinda ruthless next season. sell anyone who is a liability (happy that it has already started) - kalou bosingwa may have been "good enough" on their best days but they have put in too many abject performances to stake a claim for a new contract. essien is a shadow of the player he once was and malouda has lost a yard of pace. the one's who should be retained - lampard, cole and fereira - yes , the very same Paulo Fereira. he doesn't mind being 3rd or 4th choice and he does a decent job when needed and i don't think any other good club want him anyway. sad about drogba but we cant keep relying on him season after season. we have to build a new team now because there is no drogba upfront to dump it long anymore. the ground passing and the movement should improve - should be positive, i.e - not back to the CB's . with Hazard/Hulk on the wings, the CM's will have much better options than last season. finally, who should come in? Hazard AND Hulk? that would be brilliant imo but can we afford both of them? i dont think so. plus we have already got marin and kdb who look like real talents. one of hazard or hulk, a right back and a striker or Central mid. torres will be the main man but if he doesn't fire again next season, there has to be a back up , that way i think hulk would be better than hazard for chelsea this generation of chelsea players will always be remembered but sadly, all things, even good ones, must come to an end.
  23. With the departures of Kalou, Malouda, Bosingwa etc, the overall Squad Strength will improve. de bruyne, marin are better rotation options i feel but now, the emphasis must be on getting one or two quality players in. we are in the race for hazard, hulk and moura. wouldn't mind 2 of them here with ramires, marin being the other wingers. sturridge should be pushed up-front as striker my worry in all this is the CDM position. do we still play 2 CDM's? Mikel and Lampard worked well towards the end of the season but it was too defensive and we invited pressure on to us in many games
