  1. More comedy from the Daily Star. Jose to come back and sign Hulk http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/308350/Jose-wants-Brazil-ace-Hulk/
  2. yeah but the smaller teams can frustrate arsenal. i don't think Arsenal can keep winning even if the fixtures are easy
  3. Same line-up as the Man Utd Replay. That is our most 'solid' XI imo. Ivanovic and Luiz have conceded just 2 goals in the 6 games they've paired up keeping 4 cleansheets including Man Utd and Man City. As good as Terry is, he'll be uncomfortable with forwards like Tevez and Aguero Cech Azpilicueta Ivanovic Luiz Bertrand Mikel Ramires Oscar Mata Hazard Ba Bench: Turnbull Terry, Cahill, Lampard, Moses, Marin, Torres
  4. In the remaining 7 games we have potential banana skins in Spurs, United, Everton and Liverpool. It's going to be too close for comfort. Here's the full list. Think Ankit posted it a few pages ago. Can't seem to find it Chelsea: Spurs Arsenal Fulham A City H Norwich H Liverpool A Wigan A Everton H Swansea H Soton H Fulham A United A Stoke A Man Utd H Villa A Sunderland H QPR A Everton H Chelsea PP A Wigan H Spurs (PP) H Newcastle A
  5. Lampard's leaving. A spot opens up in midfield. board could finally come to senses this time.
  6. In fairness, our away fans are very vocal.
  7. Bertrand having a good game. No mention of it though...
  8. they did struggle. but both times they got away with it. this is like last season all over again. Lucky Arsenal scrape wins
  9. Wonder why Lukaku didn't start today. Arsenal struggle with big dominating centre-forwards - Drogba, Carroll, Ba
  10. but wouldn't they include Lampard along with the younger players then? They included Terry. i mean, in India, you get mostly only Lampard, Drogba jerseys. I don't know about statistics but more often than not, when I see a Chelsea jersey, it has Lampard on the back. Think the club might have told adidas to leave him out
  11. Jose didnt choose that. it was made up by goal.com
  12. is there a scenario where he'll stay? The board has held firm on it's view of not offering Lampard a new contract despite the incessant support from the fans. only way is if Jose comes and says he wants to keep Frank around. only will have that much power and balls to face the board
  13. think it's pretty clear now. sad that he's leaving but like drogba, it's the right time
  14. to add to your point - i think buying a classic right winger is better. Our best player at the Right side is currently Moses. Hazard-Mata-Right Winger would be better. Moses, Oscar, Marin, Piazon are depth for AM position edit: wouldn't be too pissed abt Schurrle though
  15. Cech Azpilicueta Ivanovic Luiz Bertrand Mikel Ramires Oscar Mata Hazard Ba The same team that faced United (Bertrand for Cole)
  16. Blue with White Applications - I'd be happy with the rumoured kit posted on here Just not that ridiculous yellow crap please
  17. Torres is single-handedly taking us to Europa League glory. That finish vs Steaua - what composure! and the 2 goals last night. Best striker in the Europa League. 50 million well spent
  18. To be honest, I'm not surprised he's scored a goal like that. He's scored a fair few 'sweeping' volleys before. he's got good control on volleys.
  19. He should have a decent run in the Premier League before he can be valued. He's had a good season at Watford and their win over Hull means they are 1 point from automatic promotion, so if they do secure promotion, it'd be a good idea to send him back there for a season in the Premier League. We'll have Essien back and Romeu fit to cover the pivot. Now if the board decides to offload Essien then we are short of midfield depth. Chalobah will be a good option but it's better he gets a season-long PL experience than bits and pieces of first-team action. So no, he's not ready yet
  20. hopefully if we do sign him and if he's the beast he is, then we'll have a brilliant defender who won't be expecting to be first choice. that way we can manage him better and use him wisely with the other CB's in the first season
  21. they are more like exceptions than the rule itself. His only goals against tough opposition this season was maybe vs Arsenal and Newcastle.
