  1. racism issues as well. maybe we can put in a cheeky bid for him
  2. meh. can't be bothered to watch this. hopefully a routine win to get us back on track. marin and oscar better start!
  3. well the price for Falcao is just absurdly inflated. can't afford him. would rather make 3 signings to freshen up mid and atttack rather than one Falcao in January
  4. impossible. 47 mil is ridiculous money. i'd say let's wait till the summer to get a proper manager and then sign players he wants. also, money-wise its absurd to go ahead and sign falcao. read my previous post. plus, signings like ba, walcott and maybe a midfielder will be enough this january to secure our season objective - Top 4 finish the squad has serious problems but i'd wait till the summer for Pep/Jose/Klopp or whoever it is that takes charge here and sign players that the manager wants and not the board or the directors. as of now, we have a bunch of talented individuals whose attacking policy is give the ball to the 3 amigos and we'll see if something comes of it. in january, if we can add a bit of depth and freshness to our attack to give us an option of switching to a 4-4-2 in games where our plans are not working, that'd be more than enough. sign bargain backups----top 4----rafa out----pep in----rebuild
  5. excellent point but Falcao is an almost impossible signing at 48mil.. we are not going to get 60m Champions League bounty and we have turned over a profit for the first time in a while. (1.2mil) and for those saying we'll get money from Europa league, note this. Atletico Madrid got 10.5 million euros for winning Europa League. that's not even the winnings of CL group stages. simply put, Falcao is a no-go. atleast not at 48million
  6. Ideally i hope we get - Demba Ba or Klaas Jan Huntelaar for backup - Theo Walcott to replace Danny - Fellaini
  7. oh even Cahill is suspended, There goes the Luiz to pivot experiment out of the window. it's Oscar and Lampard in the pivot #worried
  8. Nah he was saying he had already drawn up the starting eleven last Friday which i think means that those who missed out on the CWC final are being penned down to start this one. Oscar, Marin, Mikel, Azpilicueta etc.
  9. I'd give them Torres and gift-wrap Malouda as well. Not looking forward to this. we are knackered at the moment and i think the likes of Marin, Oscar etc who'll start on Wednesday will have Zero idea of a tumultuous cup-tie. Hope the senior players step up and be counted after that poor performance in Japan
  10. Worst moments 1. Moscow :Nuff said 2. Mourinho sacked : wtf? 3. ManUre this season : livid against clattenburg 4. Iniesta's goal: Hammer Blow 5. That game against QPR : we were f***ing dominating with 9 men!
  11. Henrique has pointed it out. We need a manager actually in charge of transfers etc and I believe no one other than Pep Guardiola or Jose Mourinho could walk into Chelsea and control all first team affairs under Roman's watch Let us revaluate our objective this season and just finish top 4 regardless of what happens in Europa League, COC, FACup. Pep or Jose in the summer is A MUST to sort our team (bunch of talented individuals) Jurgen Klopp or any other manager mentioned don't stand a chance imo. they would never get total control of first team affairs. Pep or Jose. That's all
  12. Moses and Cahill have been piss poor. Get Azpilicueta and Oscar on. also Oscar for Lampard
  13. guerrero just caught the ball while everyone was playing. surely yellow!
  14. i would say, make CWC every 2 years instead of one and have the 2 UCL winners in the intervening years take part along with 2 teams from each confederation. A straight knockout tournament held in a different country every 2 years. 1. globalises the game 2. chance to play 2 top-tier european teams 3. the trophy will get some meaning if there are more teams and more meaningful matches. 4. rolling the host nation will give a wide range of supporters access to watch top teams it can go like Australia to Singapore to China to Dubai to South Africa to Switzerland(UEFA) to Brazil maybe to USA etc. schedules can be altered for that season. competition will be much more than what it is now and supporters in various countries get to watch the world's top players.
  15. 4pm here. can't watch it sadly. maybe i'll get back for the last half hour
  16. Respect to Moyes. hard to imagine anyone else would state it with such blunt honesty
  17. Stoke team to face Everton: Begovic, Cameron, Shawcross, Wilkinson, Huth, Whelan, Etherington, Adam, Nzonzi, Jones, Walters#STKEVE Everton team v Stoke: Howard, Distin, Jagielka, Baines, Coleman, Osman, Fellaini, Pienaar, Gibson, Jelavic, Naismith #STKEVE Real test for Everton this.
  18. Newcastle squeezing City with set-piece pressure now. City holding on though. Come on Newcastle! Get the f****** ball to Ba!
  19. weird. i didn't get a notification for this.. anyway, true, lewandowski is a no-go for january. but his contract expires in 2014. this summer, he'll be an on the move. has indicated that he wants to run down his contract. think dortmund will look to sell this summer than lose him for nothin in 2014
  20. was hoping Ben Arfa would be there. to create somethin for Ba edit: Ba - coming as far as the halfway line to collect the ball. Despite Newcastle's bright start, expect ManC to seize control
