  2. Yup, Essien is starting for Madrid. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/A3GDpaYCIAA3ek9.jpg:large The major confusion came from this apparently. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/A3GC7MtCAAAi272.jpg:large
  3. Josh starts for Boro once again as they face Blackpool at Bloomfield Road.
  4. Lille's president Michel Seydoux said this today on L'Equipe... http://www.sport360.com/article/chelseas-eden-hazard-destined-barcelona-says-lille-chief
  5. Yes, while Torres may not always get the best of service in games, think people should also really focus on him in terms what he does on the pitch. He doesn't offer much movement upfront especially when teams sit deep against us. He should look to move in and around the box, offer himself as a passing option and not just stay static in the central area being manhandled by the CBs all the time. Furthermore, he can't keep the ball longer than 2-3 seconds when he gets on it and most annoyingly of all, he always try to take on 2-3 players when he could and should have passed it to a nearby teammates so that it keep our attacks flowing and push the opposition back by bringing our team higher up the pitch. But no, he doesn't do that and it always contribute to us losing possession cheaply when we get to the final third. How can people expect us to mount any real sustain attacks if our striker can't even keep possession?!

  7. WTF is with all the poos, toilet, bum, bleach story telling in the last page?!
  8. You can watch the press conference in the link below. http://www.chelseafc.com/live-press-conferences The team will then be training at the stadium from 5-6pm today.
  9. The CL trophy to be paraded in the stadium before the game. :blue scalf: http://www.chelseafc.com/news-article/article/2922374/title/arrive-in-time-for-champions-league-trophy-parade
  10. Yes yes. Blame the wingers. Blame the midfielders. Blame everyone else. Torres is the innocent one here as always...
  11. Typical English media. When he was scoring the goals prior to the international break, it was all 'Torres is back!' headline and everything was positive and after just poor game against QPR, it's all negative headlines once again.
  12. Exactly. And we wouldn't even be having this fixture had we not won the Champions League last season.
  13. TBF, the call on Fellaini's goal was pretty tight. Looked marginally offside. Might have to give the linesman the benefit of the doubt here. As for the Anichebe effort being cleared off the line, yes it should have a been goal but it wasn't even a free kick to begin with before that.
  14. Magnificent game that was. Goals. Controversies. Saves. Intensity. Goal line clearance. The game just had about everything. Everton dominated the first half but Newcastle probably just about shaded the second. Everton arguably should have won but paid the price for not taking their chances.
  15. Classic case of a team dominating the 1st half but never take their chances and ended up getting pegged back.
  16. Everton have been utterly dominant in this game. And what a brilliant goal it was by Baines too. The passage of play and the finish. Quality.
  17. Lovely gesture by Everton pre-game in regards to the recent Hillsborough events. Just pure class.
  18. Can somebody send all these links to RDM or something?
  19. Bale is on Twitter apparently --> @GarethBale11
  20. http://thinkfootball.co.uk/tactical-analysis-what-is-wrong-with-chelseas-4-2-3-1/ A good article on the problems we have with the 4-2-3-1.
  21. Everton v Newcastle kicking off in 1 hour and 45 minutes time. If the home side wins, they will go 3rd(unless they win by 5 goals), on level points with United on 9 and just 1 point behind us. A Newcastle win will see them get to the 7 points mark and should they score tonight, it will be their 1000th goal in the Premier League.
  22. Pedro Proenca is the referee for this one. Remember what happened last time he officiated our game?
