  1. Bingo! Didn't exactly work out too well for him and Roma. There were problems in the dressing room and results were quite inconsistent on the pitch.
  2. Think Roma would be better to watch than when they were under Luis Enrique last season.
  3. Suicidal to do it now. Our players are not even used to playing with a back 3 and it will basically be an alien formation to us. If we play that, Juventus will surely exploit the uncertainty in our ranks with regards to the formation.
  4. Doesn't that 'troll' face tell you anything?
  5. Or maybe he is just an arrogant fella. Likes to show off. Yeah. And he did say Zidane is his idol after all.
  6. Just realized Lichsteiner is not starting either. He, Isla, Asamoah, Vidal etc are all on the bench for Juventus. http://www.juventus.com/juve/en/home
  7. Juventus are away at Genoa today. Match kicks off in about 20 minutes time and this is their lineup: No Asamoah. No Vidal. Not sure what the exact reason is. Maybe they have been rested. Will post the reason if I can get it.
  8. Ook, never mind. We are obviously not seeing eye to eye here. Will just have to agree to disagree then.
  9. Thinking back about yesterday, find it ridiculous that RDM decided to stick Ramires at RW till the 60-70th minute. Bosingwa was playing at LB for much of the game and RDM didn't even bother to bring Moses on way earlier to test him there.
  10. Of course the La Liga has quality in it. Never said anything to deny that! I was talking about the title race and only about the title race alone and the fact that it has only 2 teams challenging for it every season now from start to finish makes it uninteresting when you look at it as a whole.
  11. Is it just me or does Hazard really loves to execute the rabona?
  12. Had the same thought but the problem was, we lacked options. Essien loaned out. Meireles sold. Oscar still perhaps not quite ready yet. RDM is obsessed with playing Ramires at RW. And playing Romeu would just make our lineup even more defensive.
  13. I couldn't care less if they are the two greatest teams in the world or not. At the end of day, it's still only the 2 same teams challenging for the title.
  14. It's boring because practically, we only see the two same teams challenging for the title every season and if one falters like the way Madrid have been, then suddenly, there's like only one team left in the race running away with it. Barcelona may not have had it easy so far but they still won, didn't they? It's 12 points out of 12 for them while Madrid only have 4 out of 12 so far. And as for ruling Madrid out, I never said anything specifically regarding that. If anything, I still think they can claw their way back. You only have to look at my reply to Rmpr's post above to see my implying that.
  15. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/9545687/Queens-Park-Rangers-defender-Anton-Ferdinand-plans-civil-action-against-Chelseas-John-Terry-in-racism-case.html Anton plans to take civil action against Terry in this racism case and apparently, Park Ji Sung didn't shake Terry's hand yesterday either.
  16. Was talking about the title race, not the entertainment of La Liga.
  17. If there is a manager that is accustomed to breaking records and making history, it is Mourinho.
  18. True but what RDM should have done was brought him on earlier. Torres was hardly doing anything when he was on. Sturridge did well when he came on but 10 minutes was never gonna be enough for him to really make an impact on the game.
  19. And that just reinforces why La Liga is so boring. Madrid can still win it, as Sheva pointed out, but they would need to go on a real long winning streak and hope Barcelona slip up here and there along the way.
  20. He has been wrecked, psychologically and mentally!
  21. Torres is just really an enigma right now. At times, he looks to be really interested in the game and others, he just doesn't seem to bother at all. His goals are just papering over a huge crack and it only served to give him some respite from time to time. What really frustrates me at the moment about Torres is that whenever he's on the ball, he always tries to take 2-3 players on by himself thinking like he's Messi or something. And more often than not, he always, ALWAYS loses the ball. People always talk about how our midfield can't keep the ball, can't keep it simple, Torres should also be blamed for that. He doesn't want to keep it simple by passing the ball to a nearby teammate and maintain the possession and because of such silly action, we would always find ourselves getting caught out on the counter, needlessly!
  22. Don't think he got it yesterday. Just a BS story created on Twitter(as usual) again.
  23. Won't be surprised one bit if RDM plays a similar lineup like the one yesterday - Bertrand at LW & Ramires at RW - to counter Juventus's wingbacks.

  25. Seems so according to the reliable Belgian source, John Chapman.
