Thought he did alright today. Great in our passing moves going forward but thought he was brushed off the ball too easily at times. Then again, it's no suprise to see that happened.

All I can say is he drives me mental whenever he tries to dribble on the ball taking on 2-3 players at once. How does he expect his teammates to create chances for him in the final third when he practically doesn't want to play the 1-2s and allow others to create chances for him?!

Good for the lad. Hope he continues to improve and do well there.

Ramires done alright in the double pivot today but not getting carried away. We played Stoke today and not City, United, Arsenal etc.

Think the rest may have benefited him very well. And that was his 1st assist of the season. He's up and running.

Unconvincing performance but relieve to get that vital 3 points. Can now sit back and watch Liverpool v Man United and Man City v Arsenal with a peace of mind. At least 2 is gonna drop point. A Liverpool win and a draw at the Etihad would be the best results for us.

If we don't win today, people will be complaining that RDM was far too adventurous in his approach...

Not sure I would want to see Oscar starting this game given that he has just recovered from his injury. Stoke's robust and physical approach might make it even worse!

Torres is nowhere near worth 31m right now. At most he's worth 20m and even that might be pushing it a little bit.

But ended up making a poor pass from what I read. Nonetheless, at least it's good to see him getting game time and doing well there. The game has ended. Boro won 2-1 but could easily drew the game after a late onslaught by Blackburn. First away points for Boro and first points dropped and first defeat of the season for Blackburn. Next up for Middlesbrough is a home game against Leicester City next Saturday.

He starts once again for Boro as they travel to Ewood Park to face a Blackburn side who is still unbeaten after 6 league games and has a 100% record at home so far.

RDM may not have made the right decisions every time so far and has made mistakes but seriously, some of the negativism here is getting ridiculous. As someone said, lets wait till November when we would have played Arsenal, Spurs, United, Liverpool and City and see what happens before dishing out all these negative comments.

Just a little while more I would think. Eager to see him in action for us but can't rush a player back who just recovered from a hamstring injury. May be out for even longer if he gets another hamstring injury.

As Sheva said in the other thread, just a typical BS exaggerated news by the media whenever we seem to have problems. They have always tried to blow things out of proportion. And RDM said this about the news in his PC:

Can see where you are coming from with this and perhaps there is a good reason to be concerned a bit. However, we have been creating the chances in the penalty box etc. Only problem is the final passes have more often than not been poor or they just turn into Torres when they get into the box, fluffing chances.
