Pathetic. Might have taken a draw before the game but to end up with a draw after losing a 2-0 lead is just totally unacceptable! Great going forward, created a couple of good chances but never took them. Paid the price in the end. Defensively, we were just utterly hopeless. Had no idea what to do when Vucinic drop deep. And nobody even bother to track Marchisio when he made those runs into the box. As for Juventus's 2nd goal, Mikel was definitely at fault for the goal but what on earth was Terry doing? Why did he try to play the offside trap there?! Another thing, just like on Saturday, why did RDM not use his last sub available? He could have brought on Moses or even Azpilicueta to provide more threat down the right hand side! On the brighter note, Oscar. My word. Take a bow son. Take a bow. His second goal was just a thing of beauty. Was stunned when that went in and was in tears too! He did a fantastic job on Pirlo too. Very impressive for a 21 y/o making his CL debut.
Can't be helped sometimes. Teams will press and force us to go long because they know none of our forward attacking players are good enough to win the ball.
Guess this is what @manpe, wanted to see. http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/football/912469-chelsea-boss-roberto-di-matteo-plays-down-media-hype-over-eden-hazard
If Terry was in Kompany's position last night, he would just headed the ball away or put his head in the way to block the shot like how he always commits himself into blocking shots. But Kompany didn't do that, instead he just left it for Hart which in the end caught him by surprise. You could say perhaps both were at fault because of the lack of communication but the mistake lies with Kompany.
