  1. I'd take CL over PL. I think Mourinho winning CL will also invigorate him. Before it used to be November, then it moved to December, now it's in January. Pretty soon we will be like Arsenal that slump in March.
  2. And this is why it's foolish to sack a manager after one bad season. Like we did with Carlo, one good and one bad season. Should at least have giving him his third season. Mourinho has not done nothing worthy of sacking, lately the results are not that great but we are not like in relegation zone. The man should continue with his contract. After that is when the club should take the decision if it's good to continue with him or not. At the moment I don't see a case to have Mourinho for the long term. 5 to 6 years should be the max he can get if we continue in this trend. But let's see how we finish the season, still PL and CL to fight for.
  3. Great point, I was talking this with over a friend. How even the great Brian Clough had his downturn. But at that point in time people got stubborn and did not want to see it. Kinda like with Wenger today. Mourinho came here mocking everyone and he is in danger of becoming that person he mock.... That's why the idea of making Mourinho into our SAF is ridiculous. I will be glad to just let him do his 4 year contract and then evaluate after that. To be fair a 5 year project is a lot in this modern futbol. And if he can do that with us then that would be good. But to do a Fergie at the moment that seems hard for any manager out there. That was an anomaly and something we might not see again in a long time.
  4. Think is our defensive frailty, something I been saying from the beginning when we was killing teams. If Zouma is not the answer then go buy a better CB. But don't worry, we will solve this issue by buying more attacking midfielders.
  5. Totally agree. But the problem is that people here don't use this logic for everyone else. Like Pep Bayern getting humiliated by Real Madrid in the CL.
  6. Yeah this is what I'm saying. Mourinho "mind" games are just getting borderline ridiculous. Before he was all cool and control. His mind games had a purpose, now hes just picking a fight with anyone. Just focus on the team from now on Mourinho and mind your own business.
  7. Where's the youth? Only two starting is the cause of this mess? Really?
  8. Yes agree with @Term-X, This was not a "youth" team. So don't blame it on the youth for crying out loud!
  9. The Magic of the FA Cup! Can't be too bum about the results as this tend to happen in this great cup. But as mention before Mourinho supposed "mind" games are getting ridicules. Mourinho needs to stop criticizing our fan and all that shenanigans, just do his work in quiet.....is that even possible with him?
  10. It seems lately that Mourinho words are just backfiring.....
  11. With Chelsea and City about to get knock out I guess that just means one thing. Take Gerrard to Wembley!
  12. Just like everyone says here, just wow. Lost for words here.
  13. What if we get rid of Salah and Schurrle. Do we just stay with Cuadrado? Or going for Douglas and Cuadrado?
  14. Yeah I said before that l I didn't heard much from the supposed "famous Anfield atmosphere" till they scored a goal. It was a ghost town almost all night. Our away supporters was class! As per to talk of mourinho sacking it's straight ludicrous. The man is doing a good job at the present time. But there's some red flags being raised as to weather he can do a Fergie. I think the Ferguson situation was an anomaly that is hard to come by. So while I don't agree with the sack talks I also can't agree of thinking long term with mourinho. I will honestly be happy if we just get 5 to 6 years with him. 5 years in today's modern fútbol is a lot.
  15. When average players going for that amount I rather look elsewhere like south/central america. Or just put in some younger players from our youth set ups..... I mean what was the purpose of spending money on Salah when we could have giving that spot to a younger player?
  16. Yes but how's that's going to happen if they hardly get time? I mean even the insignificant games we get hardly any time for them....
  17. I do have to say one thing that I'm majorly disappointed with Mourinho is in what he promised at the beginning. That he was going to use young players from the academy. It's the second half of the second season and still nothing. People was raving about his success with Varane, but I have yet to see him having an impact of similar magnitude with any of the youth we got here. Shame.
  18. Just sing the Gerrard song again this Tuesday. That should do the trick. ? But on a serious note, our away fans are the best. They might not agree with what everything mourinho says but they will continue to support the team and mourinho as we can hear them chanting his name. And that's the way it should be.
  19. Maybe he's mad because we sang the Gerrard song? ?
  20. So this is really happening? Yay. I was getting tired of having Salah and schurrle as our rotational players. Cuadradro and Willian will be great.
  21. Wolfsburg dismiss talk of Kevin De Bruyne joining Manchester United "I know that a few clubs are interested in him," De Bruyne's agent, Patrick De Koster, told the paper. I think he's coming back to the PL this summer if he keeps doing this well. United, City, Liverpool or so will go after him.
  22. Axel Witsel Exclusive: Zenit Star Talks Belgium, Hints at Manchester United Move http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2330855-axel-witsel-exclusive-zenit-star-talks-belgium-hints-at-manchester-united-move By the way there's not hint at Manchester United move. This is what he said: AW: I want to play in one of the top clubs in Europe one day. It’s true that I like the Premier League, because it is one of the best leagues in the world, for me, together with Germany and Spain. It is a very good league; it is a crazy league. A lot of my colleagues play there, but we will see. I am still young, only 26. We’ll see in the future. I have always liked Manchester United from when I was young.

What about going to try to pull Witsel from the Russian league?
