Even thought there's some thing I don't agree with Mourinho I thought and still think that the sell was the right thing at that time. However I would think that our club would be smart enough to include a buy back or even a first buyer refusal clause in there. Now that was sheer stupidity from the club as a whole! Sturridge and no buy back clause on KDB has been the two biggest stupid mistakes of the club in a long time.

Stability for me is between 3 to 5 years. You can accomplish a lot in that time. What I don't agree is to have Mourinho as our saf. I think that saf was an anomaly and should not be used as measuring tool. I would prefer to look at the time frame that pep did for his team. 5 years is good enough. Mourinho has done two and have not been two years of greatness. Two years that someone like pellegrini has done with similar resources if you can call it that... But mourinho will get his third year, and who knows maybe 4th. But I have not see nothing of greatness that merits unlimited amount of years. Unless we are going the Arsenal way and be satisfied with a certain standard...

The thing is that even before the goal came we was inviting the pressure with one more man. Ramires who didn't do so much of anything continue to stay in the team till the end of the second..... Why change Matic for zouma? Your one goal up with one less men, go for the kill! It's just not today but many many times that we have seen that. We score one goal and we retract. It's cost us every single time. So has he not seen this issue? In this respect I agree when people get mad at Mourinho for his cautious approach.

If we can sell Oscar and Ramires and get better replacement then that should be good. Pogba I think is a no go. His price is just ridiculous, unless juventus want Oscar then maybe we can do something. Koke would be awesome but I don't think he wants to come. Didn't he signed a new contract? Yes you make a great point but something about it doesn't sit right. It seems weird that we should compare such budgets with that of a lowly Dortmund,even if your talking about net spend. Well if you guys going on about Net spend, I think that's what Real Madrid has been doing as of late. Buy and then sell. Di Maria recently, Ozil last season. But it's still not the same comparing that with A. Madrid and Dortmund. I still say you have to compare us with City, Real Madrid and such that have big budget and assets.

Ancelotti and Benitez have a case I think. Carlo one good season and bad season. Benitez hated by many but was not that bad. Mourinho so far one good season and bad. Giving the resources of Chelsea I have not seen nothing of greatness that some other manager cannot do. Again giving the resources. But I agree with you, there's no point sacking now. It will be more of a concern if next season we are in the same situation. By then we can say he will never learn as he's just stubborn.

If someone like pellegrini can do the same as Mourinho while playing better with the same resources then I will say anyone better then pellegrini. But not now since we are in course of winning the Premier League. Next season if we regress then it will be time. Because many people are forgetting the resources equation when comparing managers. Give someone similar resources and might produce the same as we seen in city.

Great point but your leaving something out. Simeone Atletico and klopp budget ain't the same as Chelsea. If you should be comparing us then it should be to City pellegrini as we are in the same category. And in that view Mourinho will have achieved exactly the same thing pellegrini did last season. Carling cup, Premier League and last 16...
