I had Gylfi Sig on my bench.. 16 points down the drain.

In the first half he showed exactly why he's a better fit for our system than Torres/Ba. Yes he missed a decent chance (the header), but for his first outing I was pleased with what I saw. Everton away is one of the toughest places to go.

One of the worst performances I've ever seen from him. Literally couldn't do anything right.

Shaky first half but excellent in the 2nd. Could've done a lot better for their goal. Unaware of the player(s) behind him and like Cole was just ball watching. Only mistake I remember.

I agree. Maybe not both but over one of them for sure. I guess once the media gives a player the image of a flop or in Luiz's case a 'liability', people always stick to that opinion & don't think for themselves.

All I'm saying is that only he knows where he would've preferred to go. He isn't going to come out and say he wanted to move to WBA after he signed for Everton. Anyway, I said before I'd rather him go to work with Martinez than head to WBA again.

The truth is no one knows except the club and Romelu himself. He isn't exactly going to blast the club in an interview and say he wanted to go to WBA. Lukaku seems like a very professional guy and I wouldn't blame him for being angry, but he probably knows he just has to get on with it.

I'm really in two minds about this loan. Firstly, I wanted Romelu to go on loan at the start of the summer, and especially to a club that would play to his weaknesses so he can improve as a player. This has happened with him signing for Martinez's Everton now, but it's the way it's happened that leaves a sour taste. Why have we waited until the final day to ship him out on loan? After a whole summer of him being genuinely excited about the season ahead with us, interviews about him being promised chances, I just find it odd that we have done a complete u-turn. I'm happy that he's going out on loan, but the way it's happened is extremely harsh on Romelu.

Great addition to the league. Shame it's Arsenal, but I'd rather them get him than Spurs.

Would've preferred Lukaku to play under Martinez, but any move that will see him play every week is better than being 3rd choice with us.

I'm guessing he's disappointed with the club for not finding him a loan
