4-3-2-1. Cole & Ramires predominately providing the width with both Mata and Hazard as a trequartista. Lampard will need to wise up defensively and cover Cole. Obviously if we sign Hulk it messes this up!

Fulham have converted him into an excellent box-to-box midfielder. He has shown he has a very underrated defensive game to. Was at the home game vs Fulham and he absolutely dominated us. Never lost the ball, calm, composed. Sheer class. Would be a great signing imo and it isn't necessarily 'him or Hulk'. Completely different positions.

The truth is no one really knows that. It depends on the player. I've seen Hulk a lot and I would give Porto 30-35m with my eyes closed. However, knowing what Porto are like they will want more than that. It gets to the stage where looking at other alternatives wouldn't be a bad idea. Antoine Griezmann is a cracking little player for Real Sociedad, who's release clause is around 25m euros, but will likely go for less than that. He is younger and has great potential.

Javi Martinez is far superior but Garcia would be cheaper. Javier has a release clause of around £25m IIRC.

I would like Hulk at Chelsea but it would be harsh on Ramires at the same time. He's been brilliant for us, just doesn't fit into the formation IF Hulk arrives.

The bit about Manchester City's formation isn't entirely accurate. They also play with two DM's. Only when one of their attacking players comes off does it free Yaya Toure to a box-to-box role. Other than that, agreed with the majority.

I'm not really worried about AVB and his ongoing battles with the media. He's a smart guy, in the way Jose was very smart. He's taking all the pressure off the team and putting it on himself.
