Can only see Eden winning POTY, but I would definitely put Azpi and the likes of Cahill in with a shot at Players Player of the Year. Love Azpi's playstyle. So aggressive and is like one of those dogs that won't leave you alone

He played as a winger 1-2 years ago. Was good in various youth tournaments. No clue about him now. Probably want to turn him into another Alba

If we're winning by a clear margin at the Bridge and he happens to score..reckon he will get a standing ovation from the crowd. Would be a nice touch.
-
I think he's had an up and down past few months, and I definitely wouldn't go along with the notion that he's been awful. Considering the way he started the season he was always going to drop off a bit.

Swansea playing some really nice stuff at the moment.
-
I know it's against 10 but Kroos is a class above everyone at the moment
-
Still not sure about the supposed terrible game he had. Apart from the moment of madness when he got booked leading to the City chance, I thought he was average like the whole team.
-
I thought he tried his best for the majority but the way the game panned out it wasn't suited to him at all. So open in the middle in contrast to the away league win, and Mikel isn't the type of player that can react quickly and get around to close spaces. Once City got their rhythm going and were passing quickly in tight spaces it was always going to be a struggle for him especially.
-
Really not sure what he did wrong today other than the yellow card. Hm

To be fair, Oscar and Willian are both confined within the system. They both have to balance their creative freedom and defensive responsibilities. The same doesn't apply to Hazard. He still works for the team but is basically given full rein on what he can do going forward. It's no coincidence that Willian had his best game (in terms of effectiveness going forward) vs. Sunderland away (cup) when Hazard was on the bench. Schuerrle and KdB were facilitating for him.

Wasn't two games ago but Terry did the exact same thing against Southampton away in the 0-3 win. It was 0-1 at the time and Lambert should've really scored the header. Nothing was said probably because we won.
-
Looked as if Petr came out for the ball then completely stopped, while Luiz lost his man. Will have to see it again.
-
Had a nightmare last 15 or so minutes. Hesitant on a few occasions. The miscommunication from him & Luiz, for the goal was just awful.
-
I see Ramires for Brazil as a great squad option that can cover multiple positions. Fernandinho should be starting, but I can see Scolari going with Paulinho & Gustavo. Happy for Willian, really deserves it.
-
The Brazil squad is announced tomorrow right? Any surprises you guys think might happen?

^ Ribery is the only player I think you can compare Eden to in terms of style.
-
He has been excellent ever since he scored that goal against Norwich away as a substitute. Was decent/good before that but wasn't impacting the games anywhere near enough for such a talented player (other than vs Bayern). Truly fantastic against City. I was laughing when he was just standing with the ball on the right touchline, and the City players were too scared to commit to a challenge.
-
That was an incredible performance. Can't really pick one MOTM, they were all brilliant. And if someone has a gif of when Hazard skipped past 3 or 4 players in the second half, it would be much appreciated.

" Even if Chelsea did, and are indeed involved in buying and selling "economic rights participation agreements" of players at other clubs, they seem not to be breaking Premier League rules because none of their players are third-party owned." Stopped reading after that. If we're not breaking the rules or doing anything wrong, I don't see why a song and dance needs to be made over it.

The match stats remind me of the game where we lost 1-0 to Birmingham away under Carlo. But the main difference is Birmingham got ridiculously lucky while West Ham defended well and probably deserved the point.
-
Forget the consequences of where a loss might leave us in terms of the title, we will be dragged right back into a scrap for top 4 if we lose. What looked like a game where I would snap your arm off for a point, after the West Ham match we really need to win to distance ourselves from the teams below us.

^ Was this guy always a troll? Thought I remembered him as that random United fan that would show up and offer a different perspective and in general be sensible. Might be thinking of someone else
