I highly doubt mata can play as CM. Defensively he is very poor and his natural tendency is to go forward,not sure about oscar.

There is nothing wrong with Ramires, he has never been good as pure attacking player, he is great when we play more defensive because he is really good in counter attack and tracking back full back.

As long as we are going to play with a no 10 (we have 2 now in mata and oscar), we are going to play with double pivot. So I really hope we can get one midfield in the mold of Xabi Alonso/Pirlo to help our no 10 to boss the game.

they (kalou+marin) are two different players, kalou suit the way we played last year under RDM but this year, it looks like we are trying to become a less direct and more attacking team so marin should fit our team better.

He is a very good dribbler but sometimes he dribble too much and his end product is awful. his cross is not great and his finishing is not great either

I am not talking about determination bla2 and number of goals. I am talking about the way our team played last year. We played defensive with 10/11 man behind the ball. Remember we score 3 counter attacking goals against barca and one corner goal against bayern. This year we are trying to become more of an attacking team and bossing the game better. And that takes time

We really miss a playmaker( mata/oscar ) to boss the game for us, marin is a dribbler and lampard cannot boss the game.
