I am not sure we can compare RDM this season to AVB last season. We are absolutely loaded this season with quality+different players in every position so RDM can easily tinker his team for different opp. However I agree that RDM is more reactive maanger than AVB.

I agree that formation is not tactic. One thing that people forget is how team selection affect how a team play because players have their natural tendencies and they are not robot where the manager just move them to where he want. I believe mata going deep is because we don't have anybody to deliver the ball from midfield so as natural playmaker he will go deep and pick up the ball, I am not sure you can credit RDM for this. Although I definitely will give him credit for employing mikel+ramires against arsenal where we stiffled cazorla and asking oscar to mark pirlo/arteta

It's hard to move balotelli but Dzeko is definitely movable and I don't mind us signing dzeko, he can give us different option at striker (Target man)

True tbh we have not played really well this season but we kept getting good result and it really worries me. In one hand, winning while not playing well is a sign of a champion but I am not sure we can do that for the whole season.

I am not talking about his movement off the ball. It's when he has the ball and try to take on defender, I always feel his dribble success rate in UCL is far higher than in EPL. In term of Torres overall, I think he is just not suited for us, He is much better playing in liverpool system with high tempo offense plus long quick accurate pass from Alonso and Gerard

To be fair, Torres usually plays better in UCL. I always think that he always look faster (maybe because UCL defender is probably slower and less physical than the one in EPL and not so familiar with torres game) and more importantly when he try to do his trick and pass somebody, it works
