I don't want to take away RDM contribution because he deserved all the credit for our turnaround. But what RDM did for our team for me is undo what AVB was hired to do by our board. RDM return us to our old self = Defensive + direct. Playing deeper defensive line make our defense looks better especially Terry. Ramires on the wing make us even better defensively. Drogba now play like a free target man (he was asked to hold up play and link up under AVB). We played more direct so lampard does not have to play like a playmaker

Because even Messi played bad game, he was still the most dangerous man on the pitch in both games. Yes even in el classico. I saw him made a run and the whole defense move to the left giving xavi whole space for himself. He is the only person who is capable of opening our defense, he ran at our defense make our defense have to scramble, collapsing and he attract not 1 not 2 but 6 players when he made his run.

I don't think playing like what real did is a good idea. Real has a very good attacking lineup whereas ours is very poor. We should play similar to 1st leg defend and long ball to drogba.
